The best AI SEO tools for ecommerce in November 2026 are Orchly, Semrush, Ahrefs and Botify, with Search Atlas, Hypotenuse AI, Alli AI, Screaming Frog, SE Ranking, Surfer and JetOctopus for narrower jobs. We judged all 11 on what a store's SEO team needs: category and product pages at scale, technical SEO for big catalogs, Shopify support, AI search and AI shopping visibility, and Search Console and GA4 data.
A store has thousands of product pages, hundreds of category pages and a filter menu that can spin up millions of URLs, and AI shopping answers now add a second channel to win. Prices checked in November 2026.
How we checked these ecommerce SEO tools
We've run two of the AI features on this list ourselves, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit and SE Visible, SE Ranking's AI tracker. For every tool we went back to the pricing page, docs and release notes and noted:
- How far it scales on a big catalog: crawl limits, JavaScript rendering, logs and bulk changes
- Whether it writes or deploys product and category content, and how it works with Shopify
- Whether it covers AI search and AI shopping, Search Console and GA4, and what the plan you need costs
Ahrefs, Botify, Search Atlas, Hypotenuse AI, Alli AI, Screaming Frog, Surfer and JetOctopus aren't on our tested list, and Botify and Hypotenuse AI's Enterprise plan are sold through a demo, so for those we went by their docs, pricing pages and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from Trustpilot, Product Hunt, TrustRadius and Capterra and link to the original.
Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

1. Orchly: best AI SEO tool for ecommerce, with agents that grow Google and AI search revenue together
Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform that puts your Search Console, GA4 and AI search data for every page in one place, then runs agents that work on your category pages, buying guides, technical fixes and outreach on their own, which suits stores that want Google and AI search growth from one tool.
It reads answers from the engines' real interfaces rather than through APIs. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are included, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons, and it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek.
The agents run on a schedule, without being asked. They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors, your SEO and your Search Console and GA4 data, decide which category pages and guides to write or refresh, and do it in your brand voice. They keep Brand Brain up to date, find the review sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit the site for technical SEO and AI search issues with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.
Most SEO tools for stores hand you a crawler report plus a to-do list. Orchly's agents run the work end to end.
See revenue by page, not just traffic
- Organic dashboard. Search Console, GA4 and Bing Webmaster Tools in one view, so clicks and positions sit next to sessions, conversions and revenue.
- Page 360. One row per page with Google clicks, GA4 revenue, AI citations, AI crawler visits and the Site Health score. Handy when a top category slips and you need to know why.
- Rank tracking. Daily Google rankings by keyword, country and device, with the competitors that outrank you and Search Console and GA4 data next to each position. Ranking drops become tasks that agents like Article Refresh act on.
- Topic clusters. Roll up queries by product line, like "running shoes" or "trail", and watch each cluster's clicks and position.
Fix the technical issues that cost you
- Site Health Agent. Audits your pages for technical SEO and AI search issues, ranks them by priority, and proposes the exact fix. Where your CMS allows it, the agent applies the change, and every change can be undone.
- Indexing report. Every page's Google index status in Google's own wording, so you can spot product pages stuck at "Crawled, not indexed".
Write the category pages and buying guides
- Content Agent. Turns slipping Search Console pages and AI prompts you're losing into tasks, like a new buying guide or a category page refresh, and writes them with Brand Brain, which holds your products, pricing, audience and voice.
- Publishing. Publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Ghost or Sanity, directly or after your approval.
Show up when AI recommends products
- Shopping visibility. See whether your products make the shortlist in ChatGPT Shopping and other AI assistants, their position and win rate, the merchants AI sends buyers to, and the competing products.
- Catalog import. Fetch your Shopify store with no app to install, or upload a CSV or Google Merchant Center feed. Orchly flags any price AI quotes that differs from your catalog by 5% or more.
- Mention Gap and outreach. Lists the review sites and "best of" roundups AI cites that name competitors but not you, and the Activation Agent drafts the outreach and sends it from your inbox.
If AI visibility tracking is all you need, we cover that separately in our list of AI search visibility tools for ecommerce.
Where Orchly falls short
- Not a catalog crawler or description generator. For a 500,000-URL crawl, log files or bulk product descriptions, pair it with a crawler like JetOctopus or a tool like Hypotenuse AI.
- No Shopify publishing. Orchly reads your Shopify catalog for shopping tracking, but the Content Agent doesn't publish to Shopify, so you copy drafts over yourself.
- Smaller keyword database. Semrush and Ahrefs have far more keyword and backlink data for deep research.
- Shopping starts on Pro. Essential covers brand tracking, and product tracking needs the $125 Pro plan.
Orchly pricing
- Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts refreshed daily, 20 articles, 1 site and 1 user
- Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with shopping visibility, AI traffic analytics and white-label reports
- Enterprise: custom, with unlimited users and websites
- Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot are paid add-ons. There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves about 25%.
See Orchly pricing or start a free trial.
2. Semrush: best all-in-one SEO suite for online stores
Semrush is an all-in-one SEO suite with keyword research, rank tracking, Site Audit and AI visibility tracking in one login, which suits ecommerce teams that want a single research tool for categories, products and competitors.
For a store, the keyword side is the main draw. Keyword Magic and the competitor reports are good at mapping category and product searches across a big catalog, and Position Tracking follows them daily. Since April 2026 Semrush has been part of Adobe.
We've used its AI Visibility Toolkit ourselves. You open AI in the left menu, enter your domain and get an AI Visibility Score out of 100, then add competitors. Prompt Research was the report we came back to, because it shows the questions people ask AI about a category, with volume estimates.
The rest of the suite we know from its pricing page and help center. It shows you what to fix but leaves the fixing to your team, and we couldn't confirm that the old Ecommerce Booster app for Shopify is still offered.
Key features
- Keyword research. Keyword Magic, keyword gap and competitor reports for category and product terms.
- Site Audit. Technical checks across the site, with an AI-ready Site Audit from Starter.
- Position Tracking. 500 keywords tracked daily on the entry plans, 1,500 on Pro+.
- AI visibility. 50 prompts tracked daily on Starter and 100 on Pro+.
- Organic Traffic Insights. Connects Google Analytics and Search Console in one report.
Where it falls short
- Costs stack up: extra users, prompts and domains are all paid add-ons.
- No log file analysis below Semrush Enterprise.
- It doesn't write or push product content to your store.
User reviews
“Keyword Magic makes long-tail ideas easy to find, and Site Audit flags technical issues before they hurt rankings. The entry plan feels pricey for solo users, and the reports take time to learn.” (Source)
“It showed us content gaps, ranking shifts and why competitors were gaining ground.” (Source)
Pricing
- SEO: $139/month for 5 websites and 500 keywords tracked daily
- Starter: $199/month, adding 50 AI prompts tracked daily and the AI-ready Site Audit
- Pro+: $299/month for 15 websites, 1,500 keywords, 100 AI prompts and content optimization
- Advanced: custom. Yearly billing saves about 16%, and there's a free plan.
3. Ahrefs: best for keyword and competitor research
Ahrefs is an SEO platform built on one of the largest keyword and backlink indexes, which suits ecommerce teams that win by studying what competing stores rank for. We haven't tested Ahrefs ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page and Product Hunt reviews.
Site Explorer's Top Pages report is the part store owners lean on. It shows which category and product pages bring a rival store its traffic, which is often more useful than a list of keyword volumes.
Site Audit and Rank Tracker cover the technical and tracking side, and every plan now includes a small allowance of AI prompt checks. The full Brand Radar AI index, with more than 505 million prompts, is a separate purchase from $199 a month.
Big catalogs eat crawl credits. Lite gives 100,000 a month, so a store with a lot of filter URLs will feel that limit.
Key features
- Site Explorer. Competitor top pages, keywords and backlinks.
- Keywords Explorer. Volume, difficulty and clusters for category and product terms.
- Site Audit. 100,000 to 1.5 million crawl credits a month by plan.
- Rank Tracker. 750, 2,000 or 5,000 tracked keywords.
- AI prompt checks. 150, 300 or 600 a month included, with Brand Radar AI sold separately.
Where it falls short
- Content Kit costs from $99 a month extra, and Brand Radar AI from $199.
- Fixes deployed by Ahrefs (Patches) need Project Boost Max at $200 a month per project.
- Nothing here writes product descriptions or tracks AI shopping results.
User reviews
“Site Explorer's top pages view changed what we write for our store more than any keyword tool, because it shows what already worked.” (Source)
“Credit costs are opaque until after you've spent them, and credits burn fast enough that I check the counter before every report.” (Source)
“Great filters, but it can be a bit unstable compared with Semrush.” (Source)
Pricing
- Lite: $129/month for 750 tracked keywords, 100,000 crawl credits and 150 AI prompt checks
- Standard: $249/month for 2,000 keywords and 500,000 crawl credits
- Advanced: $449/month for 5,000 keywords and 1.5 million crawl credits
- Enterprise: $1,499/month with an annual commitment. Yearly billing saves up to 17%.
4. Botify: best for enterprise retail catalogs
Botify is an enterprise SEO platform that crawls millions of URLs, reads your server logs and pushes fixes at the edge, which suits large retailers with catalogs in the hundreds of thousands of pages. We haven't used Botify ourselves, so this section is based on its knowledge base, release notes, Vendr data and reviews.
Its customers page names retailers like Sephora, Fnac Darty, Carrefour, Crate & Barrel and Puma. That fits the product: log analysis shows which product and filter URLs Googlebot and AI bots actually crawl, and which ones they never reach.
It has moved hard into AI search in 2026. AI Visibility now tracks ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity, with a daily refresh added in September. LogAnalyzer added bots like Claude-User and Google-Agent in April, and PageWorkers changes reach AI bots since July.
For product data, AgenticCatalog (launched in March as Agentic Feeds) became generally available in June. It audits and enriches the feeds AI shopping surfaces read.
Key features
- SiteCrawler and LogAnalyzer. Crawl budget, faceted navigation waste and AI bot activity.
- PageWorkers. Deploys titles, internal links and schema without a dev ticket.
- AI Visibility. 5 engines, daily or weekly, offered as an option on every plan.
- AgenticCatalog. Product feed audits and enrichment for AI shopping.
- Search Console and GA4. RealKeywords imports Search Console data daily, and GA4 brings in visits and conversions.
Where it falls short
- No public pricing. Vendr puts the median contract around $74,200 a year.
- Too much tool for a store with a few thousand pages.
- Its reviews are thin and mostly from before the AI features shipped.
User reviews
Botify has few public reviews, and the ones on Capterra are already quoted in our other comparisons, so we've kept this to two.
“It's great for large websites because the crawler handles millions of pages. With only a few hundred thousand pages, cheaper tools will probably do.” (Source)
“Having a bot crawl my site and find all the SEO bugs is hugely helpful.” (Source)
Pricing
- Custom: annual contracts priced by URLs crawled, log volume and modules
- Vendr data: median about $74,200 a year, from about $48,000 to $150,000
- No free trial. AI Visibility is an add-on option.
5. Search Atlas: best for automated on-page fixes
Search Atlas is an SEO suite whose OTTO agent pushes technical and on-page fixes to your store through a script, with AI visibility tracking from its Growth plan, which suits small and mid-size stores that want fixes deployed without a developer. We haven't used Search Atlas ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page and Trustpilot reviews.
OTTO is the reason stores look at it. It handles titles, meta descriptions, schema and internal links across many pages at once, and you can let it deploy on its own or approve each change.
Every plan publishes content to any CMS, Shopify included, and every action draws from one pool of Universal Credits. AI visibility starts on Growth with ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode.
Two things to weigh. Changes made through a script live in Search Atlas's layer, so check how Google renders them and what happens if you leave. And its Trustpilot page has a run of billing and cancellation complaints from 2026.
Key features
- OTTO SEO. Technical and on-page fixes, on their own or after approval.
- Site audits. 50,000 pages on Starter, 100,000 on Growth and 10 million on Pro.
- Content Genius. AI articles that publish to Shopify, WordPress, Webflow and other CMSs.
- LLM visibility. 100 queries on 3 engines from Growth, 6 engines on Pro.
- Rank tracking. 2,000 to 6,000 tracked keywords by plan.
Where it falls short
- No AI visibility on Starter.
- One credit pool for everything makes costs hard to predict.
- No log file analysis.
User reviews
“The tools let one person do the work of several SEOs, and the team helps with training.” (Source)
“There was a learning curve at first, but results keep improving.” (Source)
“We run several stores and an agency, and we couldn't cancel during the seven-day trial, so we paid for a month we didn't use.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $99/month for 1 project, 1 seat and 1 site powered by OTTO
- Growth: $199/month for 2 projects, 3 seats and AI visibility on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode
- Pro: $399/month for 4 projects, 5 seats, 6 AI platforms and white label
- Agency: from $999/month. Every plan has a 7-day trial.
6. Hypotenuse AI: best for product descriptions at scale
Hypotenuse AI is an AI product content platform that writes descriptions, meta titles and category copy for thousands of SKUs and enriches missing product data, which suits retailers whose catalog is too big to write by hand. We haven't used Hypotenuse ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing and integrations pages.
Bulk generation is on every plan. You import a CSV or XLSX and write descriptions, meta titles and descriptions for the whole catalog in one run, in more than 40 languages.
The SEO side sits on Ecommerce Enterprise. That plan adds SEO and GEO optimization, attribute enrichment from images, web pages, UPCs and spec sheets, tagging and taxonomy, and SEO monitoring of product pages across Google, Amazon, Walmart and other retailers.
It connects to where product data actually lives: Akeneo, Salsify, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, NetSuite, Stibo, Plytix, Mirakl and Shopify, where it publishes descriptions in one click.
Key features
- Bulk product content. Descriptions, meta titles and 20+ other content types, including category pages.
- Attribute enrichment. Fills missing details from images, web pages, UPCs and factsheets (Enterprise).
- PIM and commerce integrations. Akeneo, Salsify, SFCC, NetSuite, Stibo, Plytix, Mirakl and Shopify.
- SEO monitoring. Product page performance on Google, Amazon and Walmart (Enterprise).
- AI quality checker. Checks content against brand, legal and channel rules before it goes live (Enterprise).
Where it falls short
- Not an SEO platform: no site crawl, technical audit or site-wide rank tracking.
- SEO and GEO optimization, monitoring and direct publishing are Enterprise only.
- No public prices on either plan.
User reviews
Hypotenuse has no Trustpilot reviews, its G2 and Capterra pages block our tools, and its Product Hunt reviews are a few years old, so we've quoted one.
“Slick interface, but I'd like to see evidence of how the generated content performs.” (Source)
Pricing
- Basic: custom, with a free trial, 1 seat and the bulk content tools
- Ecommerce Enterprise: custom, by demo, with SEO and GEO, enrichment, PIM integrations and custom seats
7. Alli AI: best for bulk on-page changes across Shopify and other CMSs
Alli AI is an SEO automation tool that applies on-page rules, schema and fixes across every matching page through one code snippet, and pre-renders pages for AI crawlers, which suits Shopify and other stores that can't wait on developers. We haven't used Alli AI ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page and Trustpilot reviews.
You write a rule once, like a title template for every product in a collection, and Alli applies it everywhere. On Shopify that means bulk titles, meta tags and schema without touching Liquid code.
The newer part is its AI Search Visibility Engine. It serves pre-rendered HTML to more than 50 AI crawlers, including GPTBot and ClaudeBot, so a JavaScript-heavy store doesn't look blank to them. LLM Mode shows you the version of a page those crawlers receive.
The trade-off is the same as any injected fix. If you stop paying, the changes go with it, which is the main complaint in its negative Trustpilot reviews.
Key features
- Bulk on-page rules. Titles, meta and content changes across thousands of pages.
- AI Schema Markup Generator. Schema deployed across catalog pages.
- Pre-rendering for 50+ AI crawlers, with LLM Mode and an AI Bot Traffic Live Monitor.
- Weekly crawl with recommendations, plus keyword tracking.
- Installs anywhere via a WordPress plugin, JavaScript snippet or tag manager.
Where it falls short
- Page caps: 1,250 on Business and 5,000 on Agency, which a large catalog passes quickly.
- Changes disappear when you cancel, unless you implement them in your own code first.
- Light on keyword and competitor research, and no content writing.
User reviews
“As an agency we're impressed with the multi-client dashboard and the JavaScript rendering fixes. We'd like content creation added.” (Source)
“Setup was straightforward for improving AI search visibility.” (Source)
“It's a JavaScript layer that vanishes the moment you stop paying.” (Source)
Pricing
- Business: $299/month, or $2,990 a year, for 5 sites, 1,250 pages and 500 keywords
- Agency: $599/month, or $5,990 a year, for 15 sites, 5,000 pages, 2,000 keywords and API access
- Enterprise: by demo, for 50 sites and 20,000 pages
- Every plan has a 10-day free trial.
8. Screaming Frog: best budget crawler for technical audits
Screaming Frog SEO Spider is a desktop crawler that costs $279 a year per user, which suits store SEOs who want a cheap, thorough technical audit and are happy to run crawls on their own machine. Screaming Frog isn't on our tested list, so this section is based on its pricing page, release notes and Trustpilot reviews.
It finds the mess that builds up on stores: exact and near-duplicate product pages, broken links, redirect chains and hreflang errors. Structured data validation checks Product and Offer markup, and custom extraction pulls prices, stock status or SKUs from every page.
It renders JavaScript, connects to Google Analytics and Search Console, and can send pages to OpenAI or Gemini with your own prompts during a crawl. Version 24.0 in May 2026 added an MCP server, so you can run and query crawls from Claude.
The free version stops at 500 URLs, and very large crawls depend on your computer's memory.
Key features
- Duplicate checks. Exact and near-duplicate content across product pages.
- Structured data validation for Product and Offer markup.
- Custom extraction. Prices, stock or SKUs from every page with XPath, CSS or regex.
- JavaScript rendering plus GA and Search Console integrations.
- MCP server and AI prompts with OpenAI, Gemini and other providers.
Where it falls short
- Runs on your machine, so million-URL crawls need a strong computer.
- No rank tracking, keyword research or AI visibility.
- Log analysis is a separate licence, the Log File Analyser.
User reviews
“Top-tier data, but the free version's 500-URL limit is useless for a real site.” (Source)
“I couldn't work without it, though it needs a lot of RAM.” (Source)
“One of the best technical SEO tools, with fast email support.” (Source)
Pricing
- Free: up to 500 URLs per crawl
- Paid licence: $279/year per user (£199 in the UK), with discounts from 5 licences
- Log File Analyser: sold separately
9. SE Ranking: best value rank tracking for stores
SE Ranking is an SEO platform with daily rank tracking, site audits and an AI search add-on at a lower price than the big suites, which suits mid-size stores that want solid tracking and audits on a budget.
For a catalog, the audit limits are the headline. Core audits 250,000 pages a month and Growth 2 million, with 2,000 or 5,000 keywords tracked daily and Search Console and Google Analytics connected.
We've used SE Visible, SE Ranking's AI visibility product. It runs prompts daily through browser sessions, and the Sources view shows which pages AI cites for each prompt. The AI Search add-on brings that dashboard into SE Ranking, with prompts tracked in AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT.
The rest we know from SE Ranking's pricing page and reviews. It won't write or push product content for you.
Key features
- Rank tracking. 2,000 keywords daily on Core, 5,000 on Growth.
- Website audit. 250,000 pages a month on Core, 2 million on Growth.
- AI search. 100 daily prompts on Core, and an $89 add-on for AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT with the SE Visible dashboard.
- GSC, GA and Looker Studio integrations on every plan.
- MCP and API credits on every plan.
Where it falls short
- Smaller keyword and backlink data than Semrush or Ahrefs.
- Core has 1 manager seat.
- No content deployment or product description tools.
User reviews
“A cheaper alternative to Semrush with the same insights.” (Source)
“Useful for checking keyword rankings and site performance every day, though some features take time to learn.” (Source)
“After a Google update the whole system stopped working for over a week, and we had to cancel client meetings.” (Source)
Pricing
- Core: $129/month ($103.20 yearly) for 2,000 keywords, 100 prompts and 250,000 audited pages a month
- Growth: $279/month ($223.20 yearly) for 5,000 keywords, 250 prompts and 2 million pages
- AI Search add-on: $89/month ($71.20 yearly) for 200 prompts
- 14-day free trial, no card. Yearly billing saves 20%.
10. Surfer: best for optimizing category pages and buying guides
Surfer is a content optimization tool that scores your copy against the pages that already rank and tracks AI visibility, which suits content teams writing category copy and buying guides. We haven't tested Surfer ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, changelog and Trustpilot reviews.
Category intros and buying guides like "best trail running shoes" are where it fits a store. The Content Editor shows which topics and terms are missing while you write, in Surfer, Google Docs or WordPress.
The AI SEO Content Score, launched in May 2026, folds AI search signals into the same score. AI Tracker covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini, though the Standard plan tracks ChatGPT only, weekly.
There's no Shopify integration, so category copy goes into your store by hand.
Key features
- Content Editor. Live content score with missing topics and terms.
- AI SEO Content Score. AI search signals in the same score, since May 2026.
- AI Tracker. Up to 5 engines, daily on Pro.
- Integrations. WordPress, Google Docs and Contentful.
- Site audit and Mention Gap list for outreach.
Where it falls short
- No Shopify integration.
- No crawling for large catalogs, rank tracking suite or backlink data.
- Standard tracks ChatGPT only, once a week.
User reviews
“Surfer is now central to our writing, and our articles rank higher when we use it.” (Source)
“Support's advice was to rework our category descriptions first, but the platform caused cannibalisation across our pages.” (Source)
Pricing
- Discovery: $49/month billed yearly
- Standard: $99/month billed yearly, with 25 ChatGPT prompts tracked weekly
- Pro: $182/month billed yearly, with 50 prompts daily on 5 engines
- AI Search Analytics: $82/month billed yearly on its own. Monthly billing costs more, and there's a 7-day Pro trial.
11. JetOctopus: best log analysis for large catalogs
JetOctopus is a cloud crawler and log analyzer with published prices and no per-seat fees, which suits large stores that need Botify-style crawl and bot data without an enterprise contract. We haven't used JetOctopus ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, docs and reviews.
It shows which products Googlebot and AI bots crawl and which they skip. The log analyzer comes with more than 40 bots preset, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, and checks each one by reverse DNS so fake bots are filtered out.
Crawl data, logs, Search Console and GA4 sit side by side, which makes it easy to spot product pages that get crawled but never earn clicks. It renders JavaScript and runs in the cloud, so your laptop isn't doing the work.
It stops at bots. JetOctopus doesn't track how AI answers mention your brand or products.
Key features
- Cloud crawler. 500,000 to 5 million URLs a month, with JavaScript rendering.
- Log analyzer. 40+ bots preset, with fake-bot filtering.
- GSC and GA4. 3, 10 or 20 properties by plan.
- Crawl budget visualization and crawl-to-crawl comparison.
- Unlimited projects and seats on every plan.
Where it falls short
- No AI answer or shopping visibility tracking.
- The price jumps from $349 to $809 a month past 500,000 URLs.
- No content or deployment tools, so fixes go to developers.
User reviews
JetOctopus has only a couple of reviews outside Capterra, so one of these is reused from our other comparisons.
“The best tool for SEO audits of large sites, and there's nothing to install.” (Source)
“The page crawl limits get restrictive on larger sites.” (Source)
Pricing
- Growth: $349/month billed yearly for 500,000 URLs and 2 million log lines
- Pro: $809/month billed yearly for 2 million URLs and 8 million log lines
- Ultra: $1,559/month billed yearly for 5 million URLs and 25 million log lines
- 7-day free trial up to 10,000 URLs, no card. Unlimited is custom.
How we picked
We judged every tool on the jobs an ecommerce SEO team does every week:
- Category and product pages at scale. Can it write, score or update thousands of pages, not one blog post at a time?
- Technical SEO for big catalogs. Crawl limits against your URL count (filters included), JavaScript rendering, log files and duplicate checks.
- Shopify and feeds. Does it read your catalog or publish to your store?
- AI search and AI shopping. Does it show whether AI answers name your products, at what price, and which pages they cite?
- Search Console and GA4. Can it tie rankings to clicks, conversions and revenue by page?
- Real cost. The plan you'd actually need, checked on each vendor's pricing page in November 2026.
Why ecommerce SEO needs different tools
A 50-page SaaS site and a 50,000-product store have very different problems.
- Filters eat crawl budget. Google's faceted navigation guidance says crawlers typically fetch a very large number of filter URLs before learning they're useless, which leaves less time for new products.
- Copied manufacturer text. The same description on hundreds of stores gives Google and AI little reason to pick yours.
- AI shoppers convert. AI traffic to US retailers rose 393% year over year in Q1 2026, and in March it converted 42% better than other traffic, according to Adobe data reported by TechCrunch.
- Many product pages are hard for AI to read. Adobe found about 34% of product pages weren't accessible to AI, per the same report.
Which one should you choose?
- You want Google and AI search in one place, with agents doing the work: Orchly.
