AirOps alternatives make sense when you want AI search work done without building the workflows yourself, or want a price you can see before a sales call. AirOps is a content engineering platform where teams build playbooks and workflows that research, write and refresh pages, and in 2026 it added Quill, an agent that proposes content work, and Offsite for third-party placements. Its free Solo plan tracks ChatGPT only, Pro has no listed price, and usage is billed in tasks.
Reviewers also describe a steep learning curve. These 10 AirOps alternatives work out of the box, publish their pricing, or are built around AI search visibility from the start. Prices checked in November 2026.
How we picked these AirOps alternatives
We signed up for Writesonic, Profound, Promptwatch and Peec AI, ran the same buyer prompts through each, and compared them with what AirOps' plans include. For every tool we looked at:
- How much setup it needs before the first useful result
- Which AI engines the plan you can buy tracks, and what it costs
- Whether it writes, refreshes or runs outreach for you
We haven't used AirOps itself, so we describe it from its pricing page, docs, launch announcements and G2 reviews. AthenaHQ needed a sales call, so it and Searchable, Frase, Surfer and Jasper are described from their docs, pricing pages and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2 and Trustpilot and link to the original.
Orchly is our product. We judged it on the same points and say where it falls short. Prices and features checked in November 2026.

1. Orchly: best AirOps alternative with ready-made AI visibility agents
Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as add-ons (it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek), and its agents run on their own, on a schedule, across the whole loop.
They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors and your Search Console and GA4 data. They find the pages to write or refresh and do it in your brand voice, keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.
AirOps gives you building blocks and an agent that proposes work for your team to review. Orchly's agents come ready to run the work end to end without being asked, from $49 a month.
Agents ready on day one
- Content Agent. Like Quill, it finds the pages to write or refresh from your AI visibility and organic data, on a schedule. Approve a task, or let the agent run on its own, and it drafts the article in your brand voice and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or Ghost.
- Activation Agent. Finds the publishers, people, Reddit threads and YouTube videos AI engines cite, runs the outreach from your inbox and drafts the Reddit replies. AirOps' Offsite covers placements too, self-serve or as a managed service.
- Site Health Agent. Audits every page for technical and AI search issues.
- Custom agents, without a builder. Describe a workflow in chat and Orchly builds the agent, from Slack alerts to scheduled refreshes. Pro and above.
AI visibility data built in
- Tracking on real interfaces. ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews daily, with Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot as add-ons (Orchly also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek). On AirOps' free Solo plan, insights cover ChatGPT only.
- Prompts, Mention Gap and perception. Prompts by brand and intent, cited sources that skip you, and how AI describes you.
- Brand Brain. Your products, pricing, voice and positioning in one place, used by every agent and to fact check AI answers.
- Search Console and GA4. Organic clicks, conversions and revenue from Google Search Console and GA4, so you can see which content pays off.
Orchly vs AirOps at a glance
| Orchly | AirOps | |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing | Published, from $49/month | Solo free; Pro and Enterprise not listed |
| Billing unit | Prompts and articles per month | Tasks (35,000 on Solo, 100,000 on Pro) |
| Setup | Agents ready to run on a schedule | Playbooks, workflows and grids you build, with Quill to help |
| AI engines | ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews; Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok, Copilot as add-ons; also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek | ChatGPT on Solo, 7+ answer engines on Pro |
| Content creation and refresh | Content Agent, 20 or 50 articles a month | Quill and custom workflows |
| Citation outreach | Activation Agent runs it from your inbox | Offsite, self-serve or as a managed service |
| Reddit threads and replies | Finds threads and drafts replies | Community insights on Pro |
| Technical site audit | Site Health Agent | AI crawler and page insights |
| Search Console and GA4 | Yes, with revenue | Via integrations |
| Seats | 1 on Essential, 5 on Pro | 1 on Solo, unlimited on Pro |
| Free option | 7-day free trial | Free Solo plan |
Where Orchly falls short
- Less flexibility. AirOps lets you build almost any content workflow from steps, branches and integrations. Orchly's agents are purpose-built for AI search and SEO.
- Smaller content volume at entry. Essential includes 20 articles created or refreshed a month, and Pro 50.
Pricing: Essential $49/month (20 articles). Pro $125/month (50 articles, custom agents). 7-day free trial.
See Orchly pricing or start a free trial.
2. Writesonic: best AI writer with GEO tracking
Writesonic is an AI writing and GEO platform that tracks how your brand shows up in AI answers and writes the articles to improve it, which suits content teams that want writing volume at a published price instead of building workflows in AirOps.
We signed up and had tracking running in a few minutes. You pick topics, trim the suggested prompts, add competitors, and citation share starts filling in daily.
Compared with AirOps there's nothing to build. Plans come with 15, 25 or 50 articles a month that publish to WordPress, and the Action Center checks each fix again after 14 and 28 days.
The engine list held us back. Every self-serve plan tracks only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, so Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Copilot and AI Mode all need Enterprise. Reviewers also say drafts need a careful edit, especially on technical topics.
Key features
- Articles plus tracking. 15, 25 or 50 AI articles a month, published to WordPress.
- Daily citation tracking. Citation share against competitors and the pages that get cited.
- Action Center. Fixes re-measured on day 14 and day 28, in full on Enterprise.
- Reddit and Search Console as data sources for what to write.
- MCP server and Project Hub, both added in June 2026.
Where it falls short
- Self-serve plans track only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews.
- Sentiment starts on Growth at $399 a month billed yearly.
- Starter has 1 user, and the listed prices are for yearly billing.
- No outreach or off-site work.
User reviews
“Instead of starting from a blank page, I get a structured draft and spend my time making it match our brand voice.” (Source)
“On technical topics the content gets repetitive.” (Source)
“After onboarding you can't add new prompts to track, and AI bot traffic shows up a day late.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $79/month billed yearly (about $99 monthly) for 50 prompts, 15 articles and 1 user
- Basic: $199/month billed yearly for 100 prompts, 25 articles and 2 users
- Growth: $399/month billed yearly for 200 prompts, 50 articles, 3 users and sentiment
- You can start free without a card. Enterprise adds the other engines.
3. Profound: best enterprise alternative
Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform used by more than 1,000 brands, including a third of the Fortune 100, and it suits large teams that want deep AI answer data with AI Marketer agents that draft and publish content on top of it.
We tested it on the 7-day trial. Profound chose 50 prompts for our industry that we couldn't change, and only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews ran, so the trial showed us the product more than our own market.
Next to AirOps, the data is the reason to look. Prompt Volumes estimates how often people actually ask a question, from more than 1.5 billion prompts in 35 countries, and Enterprise tracks nine engines with Claude and Copilot included.
It isn't easier to buy, though. Since September 2026 brands can only get Profound through sales, and AI Marketer's agent work draws on credit wallets that arrived in October.
Key features
- Nine engines on Enterprise. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews and Exa.
- Prompt Volumes. Demand estimates from 1.5 billion+ prompts in 35 countries, updated weekly.
- AI Marketer. Agents that draft and publish content, set up from a plain-language request since October 2026.
- Context Manager. The brand facts and guidelines the agents work from, launched in September 2026.
- Agent Analytics and Shopping. AI crawler visits and product visibility in AI shopping answers.
Where it falls short
- No self-serve plan for brands.
- The trial runs preset prompts on three engines.
- No Grok since Exa replaced it in September 2026.
User reviews
“The agents help when you're not sure what to do after looking at the data. It's rather expensive compared with other tools we vetted, though.” (Source)
“It ships features faster than better-known competitors.” (Source)
“I'd like more flexibility in how reports are segmented for different stakeholders.” (Source)
Pricing
- Brands: custom Enterprise pricing through sales
- Agencies: a separate self-serve Agency Growth plan
- Trial: 7 days, with 50 preset prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews
4. Promptwatch: best mid-priced tracking plus content
Promptwatch is an AI search visibility platform that combines prompt tracking, AI crawler logs and content writing at published prices, which suits growth teams that want content refreshes tied to their visibility data without building the pipeline themselves.
We used the 7-day trial. You enter your URL, pick 5 prompts to start, and Promptwatch collects answers from the chatbots' own interfaces rather than their APIs.
Every plan tracks all of its models, Claude included, so there's no per-engine add-on to work out. Citations Analysis was where we spent most of our time, because it shows which pages and third-party sources get pulled into answers.
Content writing, the knowledge base and crawler logs start on Professional at $245 a month. And Essential's 6,000 responses won't run 50 prompts on every model every day, so you end up choosing.
Key features
- All models on every plan. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Copilot, Perplexity, Claude, Gemini, Meta Llama, DeepSeek and Mistral.
- Citations Analysis. Which of your pages and which outside sources AI engines cite.
- Content writing and refresh. Grounded in a knowledge base, from Professional.
- Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits through log integrations, from Professional.
- MCP and API on every plan.
Where it falls short
- Content tools and crawler logs need the $245 plan.
- 6,000 responses on Essential limit how many models you can run daily.
- No Grok on the model list, and no outreach.
User reviews
“The data feels reliable, and the AI-written conclusions explain what some of the metrics actually mean.” (Source)
“The dashboards give you a lot at once, and it took me a few days to work out which views drive decisions.” (Source)
“It shows how LLMs see our products and which content gaps to fill.” (Source)
Pricing
- Essential: $95/month for 50 prompts, 6,000 responses and 1 project
- Professional: $245/month for 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, 2 projects and content writing
- Business: $579/month for 350 prompts, 42,000 responses and 5 projects, by demo
- Essential and Professional have a 7-day free trial.
5. Searchable: best agent-led platform at a published price
Searchable is a London-based AI visibility platform that bundles prompt tracking, 20 articles and 200 page audits into a $125 plan, which suits small teams that want AirOps-style content work at a published price.
We haven't used Searchable ourselves, so this section draws on its pricing page, changelog and Trustpilot reviews.
Its agent works in chat. Since July 2026 it plans a piece, waits for your approval, writes it and publishes it to WordPress, Webflow or Shopify, which is the closest thing to Quill on this list without a workflow builder behind it.
Pro includes ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Perplexity. Copilot, DeepSeek, AI Mode, Gemini, Grok and Claude are paid add-ons, and white-label reports start on the $400 Scale plan.
Key features
- Searchable Agent. Plans, writes and publishes content once you approve it.
- Content and audits. 20 articles and 200 page audits a month on Pro.
- Three engines included, with six more as paid add-ons, plus cheaper Claude Lite and Grok Lite.
- Prompt Universe. A map of the questions buyers could ask about your brand, since October 2026.
- GA4, Search Console and WordPress integrations, plus MCP and API.
Where it falls short
- Only three engines before add-ons.
- White-label reports and Looker Studio start at $400 a month.
- No citation outreach.
User reviews
“Linking GA4, Search Console and WordPress lets you go from insight to optimization very quickly.” (Source)
“Great insights, with the data and the guidance on how to improve your AI visibility.” (Source)
“I had a good 14 days, but after cancelling it still tried to charge my card.” (Source)
Pricing
- Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts per model, 20 articles and 1 project
- Scale: $400/month for 500 prompts per model, 80 articles and 10 projects
- Enterprise: from $999/month
- 14-day free trial on Pro and Scale. Extra models cost more.
6. Frase: best budget research-to-publish tool
Frase is an SEO and GEO content platform that researches, writes, publishes and refreshes articles from $39 a month billed yearly, which makes it the cheapest research-to-publish option on this list.
We know Frase from its pricing page, docs and user reviews, not from our own trial.
Since its January 2026 relaunch, Frase works as an agent. It drafts articles in your voice and can publish them to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity or Wix on its own, and Content Guard watches your pages for ranking and traffic decay and drafts the fix for you to approve.
That covers a good part of what teams build in AirOps, with no setup. Tracking is light, though. Starter follows 20 prompts on ChatGPT and Google AI, and Claude and Gemini need Scale at $239 a month billed yearly.
Key features
- Agent writing and auto-publish. 10, 40 or 100 articles a month, depending on plan.
- Content Guard. Watches 10, 75 or 300 pages for decay and drafts the fix.
- SEO and GEO scores for drafts and live pages.
- AI Visibility. 20, 50 or 75 tracked prompts, checked daily.
- MCP server and CLI on every plan.
Where it falls short
- Starter tracks only ChatGPT and Google AI.
- 1 seat and 1 site on Starter.
- AI crawler monitoring starts on Professional.
User reviews
“Frase shows us the topics where competitors are visible and we aren't, then gives us the research and briefs to close those gaps.” (Source)
“Great visibility into our AEO, with suggestions to improve.” (Source)
“It's easy to navigate, but in a very competitive market I didn't see any benefit from the content it generated.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $39/month billed yearly ($49 monthly) for 10 articles, 20 prompts and 1 seat
- Professional: $103/month billed yearly ($129 monthly) for 40 articles, 50 prompts and 3 seats
- Scale: $239/month billed yearly ($299 monthly) for 100 articles, 75 prompts and 5 seats
- 7-day free trial with no card.
7. Surfer: best for on-page optimization
Surfer is an AI SEO content editor with a built-in AI Tracker, best known for scoring drafts against the pages that already rank, and it suits SEO writers who want on-page guidance more than custom workflows.
We know Surfer from its pricing page, docs and Trustpilot reviews rather than our own trial.
Writers can pick it up on day one. The Content Editor gives a live score as you write and suggests terms, headings and length from the top-ranking pages, which is far easier to hand a freelancer than an AirOps workflow. That score is an SEO signal first, built from what ranks in Google.
The AI tracking is split across plans. Standard, at $99 a month billed yearly, follows 25 prompts on ChatGPT once a week. Daily tracking on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini starts on Pro at $182, and Claude isn't on any plan.
Key features
- Content Editor and Content Score. Real-time guidance against top-ranking pages.
- AI Tracker. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini, daily from Pro.
- Mention Gap and brand sentiment on plans with AI tracking.
- Brand Knowledge and custom voices to keep drafts on brand.
- Content Audit for pages you already have.
Where it falls short
- No Claude tracking.
- Standard tracks ChatGPT only, once a week.
- No off-site or outreach tools.
User reviews
“Real-time recommendations, competitor analysis and keyword guidance make content optimization easier.” (Source)
“The user experience is good, but AI tools can now do a lot of what Surfer does.” (Source)
“A simple interface that keeps up with AI trends, though the AI tracking still doesn't fully make sense to us.” (Source)
Pricing
- Discovery: $49/month billed yearly, with no AI tracking
- Standard: $99/month billed yearly, with 25 ChatGPT prompts refreshed weekly
- Pro: $182/month billed yearly, with 50 prompts on 5 engines refreshed daily
- AI Search Analytics: $82/month billed yearly for tracking only. Monthly billing costs more on every plan.
8. AthenaHQ: best for guided recommendations
AthenaHQ is a Y Combinator-backed AI search platform with a free plan, 11 engines on its $295 Starter plan and a content optimization agent, which suits growth teams that want guided recommendations without building workflows. AthenaHQ asked us to book a sales call before giving access, so this section is based on its docs, pricing page and G2 reviews.
According to the docs, setup only needs a domain. AthenaHQ drafts a brand profile, suggests about 10 competitors and 10 prompts, and links every metric back to the stored answers behind it.
Starter adds on-page and off-page actions and a content optimization agent, so it tells you what to change and helps rework the page. It bills in credits, one per AI response, and 3,600 credits go quickly across 11 engines.
Key features
- 11 engines on Starter, including AI Mode, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral.
- Free plan. Essentials gives 300 credits on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot.
- Actions and content optimization agent. On-page and off-page actions from Starter.
- Clickable metrics. Share of voice, mention rate and citation rate, each linked to the answers.
- Unlimited seats on every plan.
Where it falls short
- Nothing between free and $295 a month.
- Self-serve plans cover one country.
- Personas, the Recommendation Engine, BI exports and SSO are Enterprise only.
User reviews
“The Action Center surfaces what matters without making us dig. It showed we were missing from prompts about our core business, and which pages needed work.” (Source)
“The filters panel has rough edges, and it has tripped up new people on my team.” (Source)
“The help documentation is thin.” (Source)
Pricing
- Essentials: free, with 300 credits on 5 engines
- Starter: $295/month, about $245 billed yearly, for 3,600 credits on 11 engines
- Enterprise: custom
- API access and extra credits are paid add-ons.
9. Jasper: best for brand-voice content at scale
Jasper is an AI marketing platform with more than 100 purpose-built agents and strong brand voice controls, and it suits brand and content teams that want on-brand writing at scale, with a GEO Agent for larger customers.
We haven't tested Jasper for this article, so this is based on its pricing page, product announcements and G2 reviews.
In June 2026 Jasper launched a GEO Agent and GEO Hub. The Hub scores brand presence, citation rate, sentiment and share of voice on platforms like ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, and the agent acts through three workflows Jasper calls Originate, Optimize and Outrank. Since August it can also draw on Search Console and Semrush data.
Those GEO tools sit on the custom Business plan. Pro, at $69 a seat a month, gets you the Canvas editor, core marketing agents and 2 brand voices, which is easier for a marketing team to adopt than AirOps but has no GEO Agent.
Key features
- GEO Agent and GEO Hub. Visibility, citation and sentiment scores with Originate, Optimize and Outrank workflows, on Business.
- Brand Voice and Jasper IQ. Voice, style guide, audiences and product facts applied to every draft.
- 100+ marketing agents, plus no-code custom agents in Jasper Studio on Business.
- Jasper Grid for running content at scale, on Business.
- Semrush and Search Console integrations for the GEO Agent.
Where it falls short
- The GEO Agent needs a Business contract, and Business has no listed price.
- Pro is billed per seat and includes 2 brand voices.
- Reviewers say output can be generic and still needs editing.
User reviews
“Once we set up brand voice, our blogs finally sound like they come from the same company.” (Source)
“Some output sounds too generic or too formal, and the tone drifts between long posts and short social copy.” (Source)
“Quick drafts and a solid editor, but the output is a bit hit or miss.” (Source)
Pricing
- Pro: $69/seat/month, or $59 billed yearly, with a 7-day free trial
- Business: custom, with the GEO Agent, Studio, Grid and API access
10. Peec AI: best tracker to pair with your own workflows
Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform with clean daily tracking, unlimited seats and an MCP server, which suits teams that want reliable visibility data to feed into workflows they run elsewhere, AirOps included.
We signed up and it was running within minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment filled in per engine against our competitors.
The sources view earned its place. Cited domains are labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC, which made it quick to see what kind of sites shape answers in a category.
It doesn't write anything. Actions suggest pages to fix and threads to join, and your team or your own pipeline does the work, which is why the MCP server matters if you build in AirOps or Claude.
Key features
- Model choice. Any 3 models on Starter, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, AI Overviews or Copilot, with Perplexity and more from €25 a month.
- Source analytics. Cited domains and URLs labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC.
- Actions. Ranked suggestions for pages, threads and content gaps, since February 2026.
- MCP server since April 2026, plus Looker Studio on Advanced.
- Brand Perception and GA4 AI referrals, added in September 2026.
Where it falls short
- 50 prompts on Starter.
- Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need an Enterprise plan.
- No writing, publishing or outreach.
User reviews
“The MCP is why we picked Peec. The visibility and competitor data sit where my other tools can reach them, not locked in a dashboard.” (Source)
“It's missing a page-level AEO readiness check, which other platforms include.” (Source)
“I'd like to connect Peec to ChatGPT so it can work through my data with our company context.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: €85/month for 50 prompts and 3 models
- Pro: €205/month for 150 prompts
- Advanced: €425/month for 350 prompts and Looker Studio
- Unlimited seats on every plan, and 15% off with yearly billing.
What changed with AirOps in 2026
AirOps shipped a lot this year, and it now sells strategy and managed services next to the software. These are the changes that matter if you're comparing it, taken from AirOps' announcements, docs and pricing page.
- Offsite (February 3). Finds the third-party publishers AI engines cite, ranks them with an Influence Score and supports placements, either self-serve or as a managed service.
- Claude integration (February 5). AirOps visibility data, citation gaps and content performance became available inside Claude.
- CMS and project tool integrations (March 3). Publishing to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, Sanity, Contentstack, Ghost and Strapi, plus Asana and other project tools.
- Quill and a rebuilt platform (May 13). Quill scans for stale pages, competitor gaps and prompts you should be cited for, and puts the proposed work in an Inbox for review. The platform was reorganized around Context, Insights and Actions.
- London team for Europe (October 21). AirOps opened in EMEA with a team led by Cécile Méguère, and says each European market and language needs its own tracking.
- Pricing hasn't moved. Solo is still free with ChatGPT insights only, and Pro and Enterprise still have no listed price. Its most recent announced round was a $40 million Series B in November 2025, at a $225 million valuation.
When to stay with AirOps
We haven't used AirOps ourselves. This is based on its pricing page, docs, announcements and the reviews below.
Stay with AirOps if:
- You have people who enjoy building workflows and want control over every step, branch and integration.
- You publish at scale and want refreshes pushed straight to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful or Sanity.
- You like Quill proposing the work while your team reviews everything in one Inbox.
- You'd rather hand off-site placements and strategy to a managed team, now in Europe as well as the US.
- Your team already works in Claude and wants AirOps data there.
User reviews
AirOps has a 4.7 rating from 134 reviews on G2. Most praise the support and the depth of the workflows, and many mention the learning curve.
“Quill lets non-technical people like me build AI agents just by talking to it.” (Source)
“The first two weeks were hard, and sometimes our workflows break. Now most of it is reusable and easy.” (Source)
“The output quality is excellent, but figuring out how workflows, agents and playbooks fit together takes a while, and we've hit some lag.” (Source)
