10 Best Brandlight AI Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

Brandlight AI alternatives are worth a look if you want to start this month rather than after a pilot. Brandlight is an enterprise AI visibility platform for Fortune 500 teams, with customers like Samsung, TD Bank and Publicis Groupe, 12 engines tracked in 10 markets and a strategist team on every account. It doesn't publish pricing, though. Every engagement starts with a paid 3-month pilot, and there's no free trial or self-serve plan.

These 10 Brandlight alternatives are quicker to start and clearer on price, and several act on what they find. Prices checked in November 2026.

Editor's note

How we put together these Brandlight alternatives

We used Profound, Scrunch, Peec AI, Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit, Promptwatch and Otterly.AI on their trials or entry plans, ran the same buyer prompts through each and compared them with what Brandlight sells. For every tool we noted:

  • How you get started, and what the first months really cost
  • Which engines and markets the plan covers, and how often it checks
  • Whether it acts on what it finds or leaves the work to your team

Brandlight is enterprise-only and sold through a paid pilot, so we haven't used it ourselves. We describe it from its website, product pages, comparison posts and G2 reviews. Evertune, AthenaHQ and Ahrefs Brand Radar aren't on our tested list either, so we went by their pricing pages, docs and release notes. Review quotes are condensed from G2 and Product Hunt and link to the original.

Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

1. Orchly: best agentic Brandlight alternative to improve AI visibility

Orchly AI visibility overview showing AI Visibility Score, Share of Voice, sentiment, average position and a competitor leaderboard
Orchly's AI visibility overview

Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons (it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek), and its agents run on their own, on a schedule.

They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors and your Search Console and GA4 data, decide what to write and which pages to refresh, and do it in your brand voice. They keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues, with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.

Most tools here, Brandlight included, hand you a ranked to-do list, and Brandlight adds a strategist team to help you work through it. Orchly's agents run the work end to end on their own, and you can start on a 7-day free trial instead of a paid 3-month pilot.

Fact check
  • Multiple brands and markets. One workspace per brand, with 3 sites on Pro and unlimited on Enterprise, plus white-label reports for agencies.

Where Orchly falls short

  • Less hands-on service. Brandlight puts a strategist, an analyst and a customer success lead on every account, with forward-deployed engineers if you need them. Orchly is self-serve, with a customer success manager on Enterprise.
  • Engine add-ons. Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot are paid add-ons. Brandlight also covers Qwen, Mistral and Naver, which Orchly doesn't track.

Orchly pricing

  • Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts, 20 articles, 1 site and 1 user
  • Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with AI traffic analytics, custom agents and white-label reports
  • Enterprise: custom, with a customer success manager
  • There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%.

2. Profound: best like-for-like enterprise alternative

Profound answer engine insights dashboard

Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform used by more than 1,000 brands, including a third of the Fortune 100, which makes it the closest like-for-like Brandlight alternative for large marketing teams.

We tested it on the 7-day trial. Profound picked 50 prompts for our industry, we couldn't edit them, and only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews ran. It showed us the product well, but not our own market.

The real difference from Brandlight is who does the work. Brandlight puts people on your account. Profound gives you AI Marketer agents that draft and publish content, and since October you can set one up by describing the job in plain words. Agent work now draws on credit wallets.

On price it has moved closer to Brandlight. In September 2026, the month it raised a $180M Series D, Profound removed its $99 and $399 plans, so brands now buy through sales.

Key features

  • Nine engines on Enterprise. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews and Exa.
  • Prompt Volumes. Demand estimates from more than 1.5 billion prompts in 35 countries, updated weekly.
  • AI Marketer. Agents that draft and publish content, with a Context Manager that learns your brand.
  • Agent Analytics. AI crawler activity on your site, plus Search Console data in Pages since September.
  • Shopping. How your products show up in ChatGPT shopping answers, on Enterprise.

Where it falls short

  • No self-serve plan for brands, so pricing goes through sales.
  • The trial runs 50 preset prompts on three engines.
  • Exports, the API, the Claude connector and ChatGPT Shopping are Enterprise only.
  • No Grok since Exa replaced it in September 2026.

User reviews

“One benefit we didn't expect was finding gaps in how AI systems understand our products and messaging, and that helped us make our content more consistent across channels.” (Source)

“The price can be off-putting at first, especially if you're not a large company.” (Source)

“It's become a core part of our tech stack.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Brands: custom Enterprise pricing through sales
  • Agencies: a separate self-serve Agency Growth plan
  • Trial: 7 days free, with 50 preset prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews

3. Evertune: best for brands with media budgets

Evertune is a New York AI visibility and advertising platform that pairs heavy prompt sampling with agents that run ChatGPT ads, which suits brands that want organic and paid AI visibility in one place. We haven't used it ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, help center and launch posts.

Since October 20, 2026 there's a self-serve way in. Starter costs $60 a month, billed yearly, for 5,000 prompt credits, tracking on up to five models and an Ads Manager agent that builds and optimizes ChatGPT campaigns around the topics where AI doesn't recommend you.

You sign up with a card and connect your OpenAI Ads account, and there's no onboarding call. Ads cost 10% of your media spend on top of what you pay OpenAI, and the ads agent is free for the first 7 days.

The full product is Pro at $800 a month, billed yearly. It adds 100,000 prompt credits, 11 models including Claude and Perplexity, 100 samples per prompt, a Content Agent and prompt volumes. Next to Brandlight it's far easier to price, but there's no strategist team, and site audits and bot analytics are Enterprise only.

Key features

  • Ads Manager agent. Picks targeting, writes the copy and optimizes ChatGPT ad campaigns from your visibility data, on every plan.
  • Heavy sampling. Up to 100 runs per prompt per model on Pro, for statistically significant numbers.
  • EverPanel prompts. A Prompt Agent suggests topics and prompts from your brand and real user prompts.
  • Content Agent. 25 articles a month on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise.
  • ChatGPT Shopping Insights and a GEO Manager agent on every plan.
  • MCP to Claude or ChatGPT from Pro.

Where it falls short

  • Starter tracks 5 models (ChatGPT Search, Gemini Search, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Copilot), with no Claude or Perplexity.
  • Ad fees of 10% of media on Starter and 8% on Pro come on top of the plan.
  • Site audits, bot analytics, the Fact Checker and SSO are Enterprise only.

User reviews

Evertune has no reviews on G2 or Capterra yet, so we have no user quotes to share.

Pricing

  • Starter: $60/month, billed yearly, for 5,000 prompt credits on up to 5 models, plus 10% of ad spend
  • Pro: $800/month, billed yearly, for 100,000 prompt credits, 11 models and 25 articles a month, plus 8% of ad spend
  • Enterprise: custom, with unlimited content, site audits and data exports
  • The ads agent is free for the first 7 days on Starter.

4. Scrunch: best for technical enterprise teams

Scrunch AI visibility dashboard

Scrunch is an AI visibility platform for mid-market and enterprise teams that care about how AI crawlers read their site, and Sitecore has owned it since June 2026, so it fits teams that already run on Sitecore.

We used it on the 7-day trial. Setup is guided. Scrunch drafted a brand description from our site, we confirmed it, added competitors, a persona and our topics, and started from five suggested prompts.

Core costs $250 a month for 125 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot, with 5 user licenses and 5 site audits a month. A published price and a free trial are already two things Brandlight doesn't offer.

What we noticed over time was the refresh cycle. New prompts run daily for 14 days and then every 72 hours. Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Meta AI and Grok all need an Enterprise contract.

Key features

  • Core engines. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot, with 5,000 responses a month.
  • Agent Traffic. AI crawler visits by page, once you connect your CDN or host.
  • Site audits. 5 a month on Core.
  • GA4 AI referrals, enhanced in October 2026.
  • Signals and Keyword Volume Estimator, added in Q3 2026.
  • Agent Experience Platform (AXP). Serves AI agents an optimized version of your pages, on Enterprise.

Where it falls short

  • 1 persona, 1 country and 1 language on Core.
  • Claude, Gemini and AI Mode are Enterprise only.
  • Prompts drop to a 72-hour cycle after the first two weeks.
  • No outreach, and no content writing beyond basics.

User reviews

“It's competitively priced and flexible, so we scale it up and down as we need, and the GA and CMS integrations put all our clients' AI visibility reporting in one place.” (Source)

“The product is solid, but the contract took more than 10 days and several rounds to finalize.” (Source)

“More raw mention numbers on the dashboard would help, instead of mostly percentages.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Core: $250/month for 125 prompts on 4 engines, 5 user licenses and 5 site audits
  • Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, custom prompts, AXP, API and SSO
  • 7-day free trial on Core.

5. AthenaHQ: best for many engines at a published price

AthenaHQ AI search visibility dashboard

AthenaHQ is a Y Combinator-backed AI search platform with a free plan and 11 engines on its $295 Starter plan, which makes it a much cheaper route to wide engine coverage than a Brandlight contract. AthenaHQ sent us to a sales call before access, so we wrote this section from its documentation, release notes and G2 reviews.

Going by the docs, setup is quick. You enter your domain, AthenaHQ builds a brand profile, suggests about 10 competitors and 10 prompts, and answers arrive within minutes.

It runs on credits. One credit is one AI response, so Starter's 3,600 credits go faster than they sound when each prompt runs on 11 engines. Self-serve plans also cover one country, and personas and the recommendation engine are Enterprise only.

Key features

  • 11 engines on Starter, including AI Mode, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral.
  • Free plan. Essentials gives 300 credits on 5 engines.
  • Sources and Brand Traits. Cited domains split into yours, competitors' and third parties', plus the words AI uses about you.
  • Shopping Pages. Catalog page templates with Shopify sync, since August 2026.
  • Unlimited seats on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • Nothing between the free plan and $295 a month.
  • Personas, the recommendation engine, the Athena Citation Engine, BI exports and SSO are Enterprise only.
  • Self-serve plans cover one country.

User reviews

“We were paying nearly $6,000 a month for another AI visibility platform, and its dashboards were so dense that pulling one insight for leadership took hours. AthenaHQ costs less and actually gets used.” (Source)

“The filters panel has a few rough edges, and it tripped up some of my team when they started.” (Source)

“The team genuinely cares about our success.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essentials: free, with 300 credits on 5 engines
  • Starter: $295/month, about $245 billed yearly, for 3,600 credits on 11 engines
  • Enterprise: custom

6. Peec AI: best for multi-country tracking at a low price

Peec AI dashboard

Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform with unlimited users on every plan and multi-country tracking on its €425 Advanced plan, which suits international teams that want some of Brandlight's market coverage on a self-serve budget.

We signed up and had it running in a few minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors filled in for each engine.

You choose any 3 models per plan and add more from €25 a month. Starter covers 50 prompts in one project, so the multi-market setup Brandlight sells starts here on Advanced, and Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need Enterprise.

It does more than track now. Actions ranks owned and earned fixes, Brand Perception checks AI claims against facts you set, and an MCP lets other tools query the data. Your team still does the work.

Key features

  • Model choice. Any 3 of ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Naver AI, with Perplexity and other extra models from €25 a month.
  • Multi-country tracking on Advanced, with prompts by region and language.
  • Actions. Ranked owned and earned fixes from your data, since February 2026.
  • Brand Perception. Attribute scores and AI claims checked against your facts, since September 2026.
  • AI Shopping and Ads library, added in June and July 2026.

Where it falls short

  • 3 models per plan unless you pay for more.
  • Multi-country tracking starts at €425 a month.
  • Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need an Enterprise plan.
  • No content writing or outreach.

User reviews

“Before Peec we were mostly guessing. Now we know which prompts we're losing and can decide what to publish about it.” (Source)

“There's no way to onboard GEO beginners inside the app, although the team pointed me to their GEO 101 videos on YouTube.” (Source)

“The visibility data is accurate, where platforms like Semrush show outdated numbers.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter: €85/month for 50 prompts, 3 models and 1 project
  • Pro: €205/month for 150 prompts and 2 projects
  • Advanced: €425/month for 350 prompts, 5 projects, multi-country tracking and Looker Studio
  • Unlimited users on every plan, and a free trial. Yearly billing saves 15%.

7. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for Adobe-stack teams

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit report

The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit adds AI search tracking to the Semrush SEO suite for $99 a month per domain, which suits teams already on Semrush or on Adobe's marketing stack, since Adobe has owned Semrush since April 2026.

We set it up on our own domain. You open AI in the left menu, enter the domain and get an AI Visibility Score out of 100. Prompt Research was the report we went back to most, because it works like Keyword Magic for AI questions.

Next to Brandlight it's cheap and predictable, but small. The base plan tracks 25 prompts per domain, and every extra user needs their own license.

The engines also change by report, which confused us at first. Brand Performance updates weekly and includes Perplexity, while the daily Prompt Tracking report covers ChatGPT Search, AI Mode and Gemini.

Key features

  • AI Visibility Score. One number out of 100 for your domain.
  • Prompt Research. Volume and intent for AI questions from a database of more than 317 million prompts.
  • Brand Performance. Weekly share of voice, sentiment and citations, with Perplexity included.
  • Prompt Tracking. Your own prompts checked daily.
  • MCP and a Claude connector, the connector released in August 2026.

Where it falls short

  • 25 prompts per domain, and each extra domain costs another $99.
  • Every extra user needs its own license.
  • Claude, Copilot and Grok aren't on the self-serve plans.
  • It recommends fixes and leaves the work to your team.

User reviews

Most G2 reviews of Semrush cover the SEO tools. These are about the AI toolkit:

“The Semrush MCP works with Claude, so I ask in plain language and get the data without opening a dashboard.” (Source)

“Updates are mostly weekly, and coverage for Claude, Copilot and Grok is limited or Enterprise-only.” (Source)

“We couldn't remove a brand domain ourselves, so it kept billing $99 a month until support took it off.” (Source)

Pricing

  • AI Visibility Toolkit: $99/month per domain, billed yearly, for 25 prompts
  • Extra prompts: 50 more for $60/month
  • Semrush One: from $199/month with 50 prompts and the SEO toolkit
  • The toolkit has no trial of its own. Semrush One has a 7-day free trial.

8. Promptwatch: best mid-priced all-rounder

Promptwatch AI search monitoring dashboard

Promptwatch is an AI search visibility platform that combines prompt tracking from $95 a month with content writing and AI crawler logs from $245 and shopping data on Business, a mid-priced all-rounder for growth teams and agencies.

We signed up for the 7-day trial. You enter your URL, pick 5 prompts, and it collects answers from the chatbots' own interfaces rather than through APIs.

Every plan includes all of its models, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, Meta AI and DeepSeek among them. The limit is the response allowance. Essential's 6,000 responses a month won't run 50 prompts on every model every day, so in practice we picked models or checked less often.

Content writing and crawler logs start on Professional at $245. Shopping Insights and Ads Radar come with the $579 Business plan, sold by demo, which is still a fraction of a Brandlight contract.

Key features

  • All models on every plan. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, DeepSeek and Copilot.
  • Citations Analysis. Which of your pages and which third-party sources get pulled into answers.
  • Content writing and refresh. Grounded in a knowledge base, from Professional.
  • Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits through log integrations, from Professional.
  • MCP and API, plus Search Console, WordPress, Webflow and Slack integrations.

Where it falls short

  • 6,000 responses on Essential limit how many models you can run daily.
  • Shopping Insights start at $579 a month, through a demo.
  • No Grok, and no outreach.

User reviews

“I like the off-site mentions for tracking earned media, the new Actions and the clear API integrations. The number of features was a bit overwhelming at first.” (Source)

“To get better agency discounts we have to make long-term commitments, which is hard when GEO and a client's situation can change at any moment.” (Source)

“They're developing like crazy, and the value keeps adding up.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essential: $95/month for 50 prompts, 6,000 responses and 1 project
  • Professional: $245/month for 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, content writing and Agent Analytics
  • Business: $579/month for 350 prompts, 42,000 responses, Shopping Insights and Ads Radar, by demo
  • Essential and Professional come with a 7-day free trial.

9. Otterly.AI: best budget alternative

Otterly.AI dashboard

Otterly.AI is a low-cost AI search monitoring tool with four engines and unlimited seats from $29 a month, the cheapest way on this list to start tracking if a Brandlight pilot is out of reach.

Setup took us about 15 minutes. Otterly suggested competitors and prompts from our brand name, we kept most of them, and the first report followed.

The Brand Visibility Index was the view we checked most. It sorts brands into Leaders, Niche and Low Performance, which makes an easy chart for a manager.

The price climbs once you want more. Lite stops at 15 prompts and 3 GEO recommendations a week, and AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are add-ons, so all 7 engines on Standard come to about $416 a month. ChatGPT ads reporting has been paused since September 16, 2026, while shopping cards are still tracked.

Key features

  • Four engines included. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot.
  • Brand Visibility Index. Sorts brands into Leaders, Niche or Low Performance.
  • Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits from your server logs, since August 2026.
  • GEO audit and recommendations for your URLs.
  • Looker Studio connector, plus API and MCP from Standard.

Where it falls short

  • 15 prompts on Lite, and GEO recommendations capped at 3 a week.
  • AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons.
  • No content creation or outreach.

User reviews

“The price point is great, so it's good ROI for us, and we had no problem renewing.” (Source)

“I'd like reporting with more granular breakdowns and longer historical trends for judging strategy over time.” (Source)

“The Content Generator could use contextual memory, so I don't have to prompt the brand's key messaging every time.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Lite: $29/month for 15 prompts
  • Standard: $189/month for 100 prompts
  • Premium: $489/month for 400 prompts
  • Yearly billing saves 15%, and the free trial needs no card.

10. Ahrefs Brand Radar: best for market research

Ahrefs Brand Radar AI mentions

Ahrefs Brand Radar is an AI visibility research tool built on an index of 496 million+ prompts, which suits teams that want to check any brand's AI visibility, competitors included, before setting up prompts of their own. Ahrefs doesn't offer a trial, so we wrote this from its help center and walkthrough videos.

It works from Ahrefs' prompts, generated from People Also Ask questions and their expansions, not from yours. The chatbot index is refreshed monthly and AI Overviews every few days, so it's stronger for market research than for weekly tracking.

Pricing is per platform. $199 a month buys one, such as ChatGPT, and $699 buys all six with 2,500 custom prompt checks. Since September 2026 you can buy it on a free Ahrefs account.

Key features

  • AI Visibility Index. AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot.
  • Competitor research. Share of voice, mentions and citations for any domain, no setup needed.
  • Custom prompts. Packs of 2,500, 7,000 or 25,000 checks a month.
  • Claude in custom prompts, at 8 checks per update.
  • API, MCP and a Looker Studio connector.

Where it falls short

  • The index runs Ahrefs' prompts, so your own questions cost extra.
  • Chatbot data refreshes monthly.
  • No trial, and no client-ready report export.
  • Grok data collection is paused.

User reviews

Few G2 reviews cover Brand Radar rather than Ahrefs' SEO tools. These two do:

“It covers several LLMs, countries and languages, which few competitors do, but the metrics change retroactively every time the index updates, so the history doesn't hold.” (Source)

“Trending AI Overview queries are easy to find now.” (Source)

Pricing

  • One platform: $199/month
  • All platforms: $699/month, with 2,500 custom prompt checks
  • Custom prompt packs: $50, $100 or $250 a month for 2,500, 7,000 or 25,000 checks
  • No free trial.

What changed with Brandlight in 2026

Brandlight still sells only through sales, but the product has grown a lot this year. Here's what we found on its site and in its announcements.

  • February: a $30M Series A. Pelion Venture Partners led the round, with Cardumen Capital and G20 Ventures, bringing total funding to about $36 million. The announcement pitched Brandlight as a guide into AI-native ads.
  • AI Ads. Brandlight now sells ChatGPT ads intelligence in three layers. You can log in to see who advertises on answers about your brand, wasted spend and competitor creatives, get recommended changes each cycle, or have Brandlight build and run the campaigns.
  • Impact Tracker. When we checked in September, attribution was marked coming soon. There's now an Impact Tracker that shows what each URL or campaign added to your visibility score, with spike analysis and a monthly readout from your strategist. Brandlight says it doesn't offer closed-loop revenue attribution.
  • 12 engines in 10 markets. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Naver, run weekly in each market's own language, with no prompt caps.
  • AI commerce and content. SKU and retailer-level shopping visibility, with a retailer's private label counted as both a brand and a merchant, plus content drafts that pass brand and legal checks before they go to your CMS for review.
  • An award. Samsung and Starcom's AI visibility program, built on Brandlight, won Technology & Telecoms at the World Media Awards 2026.
  • Still no trial. Brandlight's October 4 comparison post confirms there's no free trial or self-serve tier. You start with a paid 3-month pilot, then an annual contract scoped by dashboards, markets and lines of business.

When to stay with Brandlight

We haven't used Brandlight ourselves. This is based on its website, its own comparison posts and G2 reviews.

Stay with Brandlight if:

  • You run many brands across markets and want Brandlight to build and maintain the question set for all of them.
  • You want people on the account. Every customer gets a strategist, an analyst and a customer success lead, plus forward-deployed engineers when nobody owns a workstream.
  • You need local-language tracking in markets like Japan, Korea or Brazil, Naver included.
  • You buy ChatGPT ads and want paid and organic AI visibility on one chart.

User reviews

Brandlight has 249 reviews on G2 with a 4.9 average, and 97% of them give five stars.
