10 Best ZipTie Alternatives in 2026 (Compared)

ZipTie alternatives are worth a look if you want Claude or Grok tracked, or want software that acts on what it finds instead of handing you a queue. ZipTie is an AI search tracker that puts AI answers next to your Google and Bing organic results. In 2026 it launched a new platform at ziptie.ai, separate from the original ziptie.dev, where you build a plan from prompts, cadence and engines at about a cent per check.

These 10 ZipTie alternatives add Claude and Grok, fold AI tracking into a rank tracker you may already use, or run the work for you. Prices checked in November 2026.

Editor's note

How we compared these ZipTie alternatives

We used Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Rankscale, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit and SE Visible, SE Ranking's AI tracker, on their trials or entry plans, ran the same buyer prompts through each and looked at:

  • Which AI engines you get at the entry price, and whether Claude costs extra
  • How the price is built: prompts, checks, credits or keywords
  • Whether organic search data sits next to the AI answers, and whether the tool acts on what it finds

We haven't used ZipTie, so we describe it from its pricing page, product tour, fact sheet, archived copies of its pricing pages and its one G2 review. Nightwatch, LLMrefs, AthenaHQ and Advanced Web Ranking aren't on our tested list either, so we went by their pricing pages and docs. Review quotes are condensed from G2, Product Hunt and Trustpilot and link to the original.

Orchly is our product. We put it through the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

1. Orchly: best ZipTie alternative for agentic AI search optimization

Orchly AI visibility overview showing AI Visibility Score, Share of Voice, sentiment, average position and a competitor leaderboard
Orchly's AI visibility overview

Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons (it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek), and its agents run on their own, on a schedule.

They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors, your SEO and your Search Console and GA4 data, decide what to write and which pages to refresh, and do it in your brand voice. They keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues, with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.

ZipTie is a tracker with an Action Center and a drafting add-on, and you publish what it drafts yourself. Orchly's agents run the loop end to end, from $49 a month with a 7-day free trial.

Google AI and organic data together

  • AI Overviews on every plan, next to ChatGPT and Perplexity, with Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot as add-ons (Orchly also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek).
  • Search Console, GA4 and rank tracking. Organic clicks, conversions and revenue from Google Search Console and GA4, a Google rank tracker, and an indexing report.

Agents that run on their own

  • Content, Activation and Site Health agents. They run on a schedule, pick what to write or refresh, write it in your brand voice, run outreach, draft Reddit replies and rank technical fixes. ZipTie's Content Generation add-on drafts pieces, and you copy them out and publish them yourself.

Where Orchly falls short

  • No Bing AI Overview tracking. ZipTie checks Bing's AI answers and Bing's top 10 organic results.
  • Fewer engines in the base price. ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews are included, and Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot cost extra. ZipTie charges the same for each of its 7 engines.
  • Fixed daily cadence. ZipTie lets you run each project daily, weekly or monthly.

Orchly pricing

  • Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts, 20 articles, 1 site and 1 user
  • Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with AI traffic analytics, custom agents and white-label reports
  • Enterprise: custom, with a customer success manager
  • There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%.

2. SE Ranking: best for AI Overviews at keyword scale

SE Ranking AI Overviews tracker

SE Ranking is an SEO platform whose rank tracker records AI Overviews and AI Mode results next to classic rankings for thousands of keywords, which suits SEO teams that want ZipTie's mix of AI answers and organic data inside a full SEO suite.

We tested SE Visible, the AI visibility dashboard that comes with SE Ranking's AI Search add-on. Setup asked for a brand, up to five topics, a country and a language, and after the first scan it suggested competitors and other names for our brand.

Inside SE Ranking, the AI Results Tracker sits next to the rank tracker. Core lists 2,000 keywords and 100 prompts tracked daily, and the AI Search add-on raises the AI limits and adds SE Visible.

The add-on is priced in checks, and the help center counts one check as one prompt on one engine. That's close to how ZipTie bills.

What we missed was Claude, which SE Visible still marks as coming soon. There's no Grok or Copilot either, and the writing and outreach stay with you.

Key features

  • AI Results Tracker. AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT, with Gemini also listed in the help center.
  • Rank tracking at scale. 2,000 keywords tracked daily on Core and 5,000 on Growth.
  • SE Visible access. Mentions, citations and sentiment dashboards with the AI Search add-on.
  • AI competitor research. AI visibility lookups for other brands, unlimited with the add-on.
  • API credits and MCP access on Core and Growth.

Where it falls short

  • No Claude, Grok or Copilot.
  • Bigger AI limits and SE Visible need the add-on, from $89 a month.
  • Core comes with 1 manager seat.
  • No content writing or outreach.

User reviews

SE Ranking's reviews cover its SEO suite, and SE Visible has none on G2 or Capterra yet, so we have no quotes about the AI tracking to share.

Pricing

  • Core: $129/month, or $103.20 billed yearly, for 2,000 keywords, 100 prompts and 10 projects
  • Growth: $279/month, or $223.20 billed yearly, for 5,000 keywords, 250 prompts and 30 projects
  • AI Search add-on: $89/month for 200 checks, $179 for 450 or $345 for 1,000, with 20% off yearly
  • There's a 14-day free trial with no card.

3. Peec AI: best for clean multi-engine tracking

Peec AI dashboard

Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform with daily prompt tracking, unlimited seats and three fixed plans from €85 a month, which suits teams that would rather pick a plan than build one prompt slot at a time on ZipTie.

We signed up and had data in a few minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors came in for each engine.

The main difference from ZipTie is how engines are sold. Peec gives you any 3 models per plan and charges from €25 a month for more, while ZipTie prices all 7 of its engines the same.

The sources view was the part we liked most, with every cited domain labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC. Coming from ZipTie, we missed organic data. Peec has no Search Console connection or organic rankings, and Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need Enterprise.

Key features

  • Model choice. Any 3 of ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Naver AI, with Perplexity and other extra models from €25 a month.
  • Unlimited seats on every plan, Starter included.
  • Source analytics. Cited domains and URLs grouped into owned, editorial, reference and UGC.
  • Actions. Ranked owned and earned fixes from your data, since February 2026.
  • AI Referrals and Brand Perception. GA4 sessions, conversions and revenue from AI assistants, since September 2026, plus an MCP server.

Where it falls short

  • 3 models per plan unless you pay for more.
  • Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are Enterprise only.
  • No organic rankings or Search Console data next to AI answers.
  • No content writing or publishing.

User reviews

“The prompts it generated at setup were useful with very little tweaking.” (Source)

“Confusing and very unclear as a visibility tool. I don't get the hype.” (Source)

“It shows how our AI search visibility is trending, but it doesn't give clear recommendations for actually improving it.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter: €85/month for 50 prompts and 3 models
  • Pro: €205/month for 150 prompts
  • Advanced: €425/month for 350 prompts and 5 projects
  • Unlimited seats on every plan, and yearly billing saves 15%.

4. Otterly.AI: best budget alternative

Otterly.AI dashboard

Otterly.AI is a low-cost AI search monitoring tool that checks ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot daily from $29 a month, which suits small teams that want a fixed bill and a fast start.

Our first report was ready about 15 minutes after we added our brand. Otterly built the competitor list and suggested prompts by itself.

Like ZipTie, it includes Copilot and gives everyone a seat. Unlike ZipTie, engines don't all cost the same. AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are add-ons, so all seven on Standard come to about $416 a month.

We liked opening a prompt and reading each answer the way the engine wrote it. There's no organic ranking data beside it, though, and Lite's 15 prompts go quickly.

Key features

  • Four engines included. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot, checked daily.
  • Brand Visibility Index. Sorts every brand into Leaders, Niche or Low Performance.
  • GEO URL audits. 1,000, 5,000 or 10,000 depending on plan.
  • Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits from your server logs, since August 2026.
  • Looker Studio connector, plus API and MCP access from Standard.

Where it falls short

  • No organic rankings or Search Console data next to AI answers.
  • 15 prompts on Lite, then $189 for 100.
  • Claude is a paid add-on on every plan.
  • ChatGPT ads reporting has been paused since September 16, 2026. Shopping cards are still tracked.

User reviews

“The AI prompt research tool gives our agency exactly what we need, and the team is quick to respond.” (Source)

“It covers the need to monitor where search is going, across Google, ChatGPT and Perplexity.” (Source)

“Reporting could use more granular breakdowns and longer historical trends for planning ahead.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Lite: $29/month for 15 prompts
  • Standard: $189/month for 100 prompts
  • Premium: $489/month for 400 prompts
  • Yearly billing saves 15%, and the free trial needs no card.

5. Semrush: best for AI Overviews inside rank tracking

Semrush AI visibility report

The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit is Semrush's add-on for tracking how AI search describes your brand, with Prompt Tracking running daily inside Position Tracking, which suits teams that want AI answers next to their rankings without leaving Semrush.

We clicked AI in the left menu, entered our domain and had an AI Visibility Score out of 100 within a few minutes.

Prompt Research was the report we used most. It works like Keyword Magic for AI questions, with volume and intent estimates from more than 317 million prompts, which ZipTie doesn't offer.

What held us back was the allowance. $99 a month buys 25 prompts for one domain, and every extra domain and user costs more. Engines also change from report to report, which confused us at first.

Key features

  • AI Visibility Score. One score out of 100 against up to 4 competitors.
  • Prompt Research. Prompt volume and intent from 317 million+ prompts.
  • Prompt Tracking. Daily, inside Position Tracking, on ChatGPT Search, AI Mode, Gemini and AI Overviews.
  • Brand Performance. Share of voice, sentiment and cited sources, updated weekly, with Perplexity added.
  • AI search site audit and the Semrush MCP for Claude.

Where it falls short

  • 25 prompts per domain, and 50 more cost $60 a month.
  • Every extra domain is another $99, and every extra user needs a license.
  • Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are on the Enterprise AIO tier only.
  • It recommends changes but doesn't make them.

User reviews

Most Semrush reviews cover the SEO suite. These are about the AI toolkit:

“It gives us a clear direction for our AEO and GEO work instead of guesswork.” (Source)

“The recommendations are useful but sometimes too high-level. I'd like more specific next steps.” (Source)

“To cancel the toolkit you fill in a form, then confirm by email within 24 hours or it doesn't go through.” (Source)

Pricing

  • AI Visibility Toolkit: $99/month per domain for 25 prompts, billed annually
  • Semrush One: from $199/month with 50 prompts, or $299 for 100
  • There's no standalone free trial. The trial comes through Semrush One.

6. Nightwatch: best rank tracker with AI checks

Nightwatch rank tracking with AI visibility

Nightwatch is a rank tracker that adds daily AI visibility tracking on ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode and AI Overviews to every plan from €79 a month, which suits SEO teams that want Claude covered next to their Google rankings. We haven't used Nightwatch ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing and product pages.

Like ZipTie, it puts AI answers next to organic data. The organic side is much bigger, with 500 keywords tracked daily on Starter across Google, Bing, YouTube and Google Maps, plus a site audit and keyword research.

The AI side is smaller. Starter has 50 prompts and 1,500 AI answers a month, about 50 a day, so you can't run every prompt on all six platforms daily.

Every plan also includes Content Studio, Prompt Research, an SEO MCP server and SEO Agent credits, 100 a month on Starter.

Key features

  • Six AI platforms on every plan. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode and AI Overviews.
  • Rank tracking. Google, Bing, YouTube, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Google Maps in 107,000+ locations.
  • Sentiment and citation analysis for tracked prompts.
  • Content Studio, Site Audit and an SEO MCP server on every plan.
  • Google Analytics integration and 3 years of SERP history.

Where it falls short

  • 1,500 AI answers a month on Starter limits daily coverage.
  • No Copilot or Grok.
  • White-label reports, Looker Studio and the API start on Professional at €159.

User reviews

Nightwatch's Capterra reviews (4.8 from 39) are about its rank tracker, and we couldn't find any that cover the AI tracking, so we have no quotes to share.

Pricing

  • Starter: €79/month for 500 keywords, 50 AI prompts and 1,500 AI answers
  • Professional: €159/month for 2,500 keywords, 150 AI prompts and 4,500 AI answers
  • Agency: €399/month for 7,500 keywords, 500 AI prompts and 15,000 AI answers
  • 14-day free trial with no card, and yearly billing saves 20%.

7. LLMrefs: best flat price for many engines

LLMrefs AI citation tracking dashboard

LLMrefs is a keyword-based AI rank tracker that covers 11 AI engines and models, Claude and Grok included, on a single $79 plan with 500 prompts, which suits buyers who want the longest engine list for one flat price. We haven't used LLMrefs ourselves, so this section draws on its pricing page, FAQ and docs.

You start from keywords, not prompts. LLMrefs turns each keyword into the fan-out prompts behind it and reports share of voice and position per keyword, so it reads more like an SEO rank tracker than ZipTie does.

One plan covers every engine with no add-on fees, and projects and seats are unlimited.

Freshness is the trade-off. Reports update weekly, where ZipTie can check daily, and the $79 price is labelled limited time.

Key features

  • 11 engines and models. ChatGPT, ChatGPT Search, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Copilot, Meta AI and DeepSeek.
  • Keyword tracking. 500 prompts generated from your keywords, with search volume per keyword.
  • Sources and citations. Every URL the engines cite, filterable for content and outreach ideas.
  • Unlimited projects and seats on one subscription.
  • Geo-targeting in 20+ countries and 10+ languages.

Where it falls short

  • Weekly reports, not daily.
  • Prompts come from your keywords, so you have less control over them.
  • No organic rankings or Search Console data.
  • No sentiment, content writing or site fixes.

User reviews

LLMrefs has no reviews on G2 or Trustpilot yet, so we have no user quotes to share.

Pricing

  • All in One: $79/month for 500 prompts and every engine it tracks
  • 7-day free trial.

8. Rankscale: best for cadence control

Rankscale AI visibility dashboard

Rankscale is a credit-based AI rank tracker with 21 engines and models and a schedule you set per search term, which suits hands-on SEOs who like ZipTie's cadence control but also want Claude and Grok.

We used the 7-day Pro trial. A run on ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini or AI Mode costs 0.25 credits, DeepSeek 1 and Claude 2, so we checked our money prompts daily on several engines and the long tail weekly.

That's close to how ZipTie thinks about cost, since you pay for runs, not seats. Rankscale goes further on timing, with hourly, daily, weekly or monthly schedules per term, where ZipTie sets cadence per project.

Honestly, the dashboards took us a while, and client reports are mostly something you build yourself. Perplexity interface monitoring has also been paused since October 12, 2026.

Key features

  • 21 engines and models, including ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Gemini, Claude, Copilot, DeepSeek, Mistral and Grok.
  • Flexible schedule. Hourly, daily, weekly or monthly per search term.
  • Unlimited search terms. Only runs use credits, and unused credits roll over up to 2x on Pro.
  • Page audits. 50 AI visibility checks for any URL on Pro.
  • MCP and Looker Studio, with white-label options from Growth.

Where it falls short

  • Credits go quickly if you track many engines daily.
  • Client reporting is mostly manual.
  • No organic rankings next to AI answers.
  • Essentials is sold yearly only, and there's no content creation or outreach.

User reviews

“It shows citation rates clearly, and the comparison with competitors is helpful.” (Source)

“The interface is a lot to take in at first, though they're working on it.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essentials: $17/month, billed yearly only, for 120 credits
  • Pro: $99/month for 1,200 credits and 10 brand dashboards
  • Pro+: $229/month for 3,000 credits and REST API access
  • Growth: $385/month for 5,500 credits and white-label options. Pro has a 7-day free trial.

9. AthenaHQ: best for many engines

AthenaHQ AI search visibility dashboard

AthenaHQ is a Y Combinator-backed AI search platform with a free plan and 11 AI models on its $295 Starter plan, which suits teams that want Claude, Grok, Meta AI and Mistral tracked, none of which ZipTie covers. AthenaHQ asked us to book a sales call before giving access, so this section is based on its docs, pricing page and G2 reviews.

Its docs say setup only needs a domain. AthenaHQ drafts a brand profile, suggests about 10 competitors and 10 prompts, and links every metric back to the stored answers.

Usage runs on credits, one per AI response, so as on ZipTie the bill follows how many answers you collect. Starter's 3,600 credits go quickly across 11 engines, and there's nothing between the free plan and $295.

Self-serve plans also track one country at a time.

Key features

  • 11 models on Starter, including AI Mode, Copilot, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral.
  • Free Essentials plan. 300 credits on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot.
  • Content optimization agent and on-page and off-page actions, from Starter.
  • Sources view. Cited domains split into yours, competitors' and third parties'.
  • Unlimited seats on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • No plan between free and $295 a month.
  • One country on self-serve plans.
  • Personas, the Recommendation Engine, BI exports and SSO are Enterprise only.
  • API access and extra credits cost more on Starter.

User reviews

“Prompt tracking showed a smaller open-source competitor, with half our features, cited more often than us for our core use case.” (Source)

“The filters panel has a few rough edges.” (Source)

“Local business schema and map pack visibility aren't covered, so we still pay for separate local SEO tools.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essentials: free, with 300 credits on 5 engines
  • Starter: $295/month, about $245 billed yearly, for 3,600 credits on 11 engines
  • Enterprise: custom
  • API access and extra credits are paid add-ons.

10. Advanced Web Ranking: best for agency reporting

Advanced Web Ranking (AWR) is a rank tracker that includes AI visibility tracking for AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini on every paid plan from $139 a month, which suits agencies that want AI results in the client reports they already send. We haven't used AWR ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page and AI visibility docs.

Its pricing works a lot like ZipTie's. You buy keyword units, and tracking an AI platform for a keyword draws on the same quota as adding a search engine or a location. Daily updates use seven times the units of weekly ones.

On the organic side it goes much further than ZipTie, with 4,000+ search engines, local and mobile rankings and SEO forecasting. It also stores the HTML of each AI result, so you can show a client exactly what appeared.

Users and projects are unlimited on every plan. White-label reports on your own domain need the Agency plan or yearly billing, and the API starts on Agency.

Key features

  • Five AI platforms. AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
  • Flexible schedules. Daily, weekly, biweekly, monthly or on demand.
  • AI result capture. The HTML of each AI answer, to show exactly what users saw.
  • Competitor benchmarks across up to 50 domains, with AI visibility and share of voice.
  • Email and Slack alerts when citations, mentions or sentiment shift.

Where it falls short

  • No Claude, Grok or Copilot.
  • Daily AI tracking uses 7x the keyword units of weekly.
  • White label needs Agency at $279 or a yearly plan, and the API starts on Agency.
  • Tracks and reports, with no content or outreach.

User reviews

AWR's 35 Capterra reviews are about its rank tracker, and we couldn't find any that cover the AI tracking, so we have no quotes to share.

Pricing

  • Pro: $139/month for 7,000 keyword units, with unlimited users and projects
  • Agency: $279/month for 14,500 keyword units, the API and Looker Studio
  • Enterprise: $699/month for 35,500 keyword units
  • Yearly billing saves 10%. There's a 7-day free trial with no card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

What changed with ZipTie in 2026

ZipTie split into two products this year and moved to a new way of pricing. Here's what we found on its site and in archived copies of its pricing pages.

  • A new platform at ziptie.ai. ZipTie calls ziptie.dev its previous-generation product. It keeps running for existing users with their old logins, while ziptie.ai has separate accounts. The ziptie.dev homepage and pricing page now send visitors to ziptie.ai.
  • Fixed plans gave way to per-check pricing. Through at least August 2026, ziptie.dev sold Basic at $69, Standard at $99 and Pro at $159 a month, with 500 to 2,000 AI search checks on AI Overviews, ChatGPT and Perplexity and a 14-day trial. The ziptie.ai pricing page, first archived on September 6, 2026, has you buy daily, weekly and monthly prompt slots, priced by how many engines run them, at about a cent a check.
  • The quoted starting price moved. The Starter preset showed $35.63 in early September and $42.75 in mid-October. It now starts at $25.65 for 30 daily prompts on three engines.
  • Seven engines. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity, Google AI Mode, Microsoft Copilot, Bing AI Overview and Gemini, all at the same price per engine. Claude and Grok aren't tracked.
  • A new trial. 7 days with 25 daily prompts and no card. In September it ran on ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Perplexity, and now it runs on ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Copilot.
  • Add-ons. UGC Impact Analysis (+80%) reads the Reddit threads and YouTube videos AI cites, Content Generation ($20/month per context) adds 8 briefs and 4 finished pieces a month, and API and MCP access costs $10/month.
  • Agency features. White-label PDF reports, client viewer access and one prompt pool shared across projects, with no seat or project fees.

When to stay with ZipTie

We haven't used ZipTie ourselves. This is based on its pricing page, product tour and fact sheet.

Stay with ZipTie if:

  • You want Google AI Overviews and Bing AI Overview answers next to the Google and Bing top 10 for the same prompts.
  • You need Bing AI Overview answers tracked, which none of the other tools here cover.
  • You'd rather pay only for the prompts, cadence and engines you use, with unlimited seats, projects and competitors.
  • You're an agency that wants white-label PDF reports on every plan.

User reviews

ZipTie.dev has one review on G2, and ziptie.ai has none yet:

“I can track prompts and see our AI rankings on Google, ChatGPT and Perplexity, which helps me show clients how they're doing. Sometimes projects don't populate, and there's no clear reason why.” (Source)

Which ZipTie alternative should you choose?

  • You want agents that run the work on their own, from tracking to content, outreach and site fixes: Orchly.
  • You track AI Overviews across thousands of keywords in a full SEO suite: SE Ranking.
  • You want clean tracking with unlimited seats: Peec AI.
  • You want the lowest monthly bill: Otterly.AI.
  • Your SEO already runs on Semrush: the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit.
  • You want Claude next to your Google rankings: Nightwatch.
  • You want the most engines, Claude and Grok included, for one flat price: LLMrefs.
  • You want to set the schedule for each search term: Rankscale.
  • You want 11 models and a free plan to start: AthenaHQ.
  • You're an agency that reports rankings and AI results together: Advanced Web Ranking.

AI answers shift from week to week, so judge any tool on the trend over several weeks, not a single check.
