LLMrefs alternatives are worth a look once weekly, keyword-level data stops being enough. LLMrefs is hard to beat on engines per dollar, with 11 AI engines, 500 prompts and unlimited seats for $79 a month. But it builds the prompts from your keywords, refreshes each keyword about once a week, has no sentiment view, and leaves the content and outreach to you.
These 10 LLMrefs alternatives track daily, show the full answer behind each prompt, or have agents do the work. Prices checked in November 2026.
How we tested these LLMrefs alternatives
We signed up for the trials of Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Promptmonitor, Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit, Scrunch, SE Visible and Profound, and ran the same buyer prompts through each. For every tool we checked:
- How often the data refreshes, and whether you see the full answer for each prompt
- Which engines and how many prompts you get on the plan you can buy
- Whether it helps you act on what it finds, and what it really costs per month
For LLMrefs itself, Knowatoa and Trakkr we went by pricing pages, docs, changelogs and independent reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2, Trustpilot and Product Hunt and link to the original.
Orchly is our product. We judged it on the same points and say where it falls short. Prices and features checked in November 2026.

1. Orchly: best LLMrefs alternative to boost your brand in AI search
Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and other AI engines, and its agents run on their own, on a schedule, across the whole loop.
They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors and your Search Console and GA4 data. They find the pages to write or refresh and do it in your brand voice, keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.
LLMrefs gives you a weekly scorecard per keyword and leaves the work to your team. Orchly's agents run that work end to end.
Daily data with the full answer
- Real prompts, checked daily. Your buyers' questions run through ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews every day, from different locations. Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot are paid add-ons.
- Prompts by brand and intent. Instead of keyword groups, every prompt is tagged branded or non-branded, and commercial, informational or transactional.
- Perception, not just a score. The attributes AI links to your brand, how competitors compare, and the objections it raises.
- Fact check. Every AI claim is checked against your Brand Brain, so wrong pricing or features get flagged.
Page-level citations and gaps
- Citations by URL. The exact pages AI cites, split by owner and source type, next to the prompt and answer that cited them. LLMrefs rolls citations up per keyword, so you can't always tell which prompt produced one.
- Mention Gap. The cited pages that name competitors but not you, ready for outreach.
Traffic, revenue and action
- Search Console, GA4 and AI traffic. Organic clicks, conversions and revenue from Google Search Console and GA4, plus AI referral visits on Pro.
- Agents that run on a schedule. Content agents write and refresh articles in your brand voice, Activation agents run citation outreach and draft Reddit replies, and Site Health agents rank technical fixes. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.
Where Orchly falls short
- Fewer engines and prompts for the price. LLMrefs includes 11 engines and 500 prompts for $79. Orchly includes 3 engines and 25 prompts at $49, or 100 prompts on Pro at $125, and the other engines are paid add-ons.
- Fewer seats and sites. LLMrefs has unlimited seats and projects. Orchly Essential has 1 user and 1 site, and Pro has 5 users and 3 sites.
Pricing: Essential $49/month (25 prompts daily). Pro $125/month (100 prompts, 5 users). 7-day free trial.

2. Peec AI: best daily tracker with unlimited seats
Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform for marketing teams and agencies that checks your prompts daily with unlimited seats on every plan, which makes it the closest swap for LLMrefs users who want daily, prompt-level data.
We signed up and ran it on our usual set of buyer prompts. Setup took a few minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors filled in per engine.
The biggest change from LLMrefs is that you choose the prompts. You see the exact question, the answer each engine gave and the sources it cited, instead of a roll-up per keyword. The sources view labels every cited domain as owned, editorial, reference or UGC, which we found handy for planning outreach.
What you give up is breadth. €85 buys 50 prompts on 3 engines you pick, where LLMrefs' $79 covers 500 prompts on every engine it tracks.
Key features
- Model choice. Pick 3 of ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Naver AI, and add more, Perplexity included, for a monthly fee.
- Source analytics. Cited domains and URLs labelled as owned, editorial, reference or UGC.
- Actions. Ranked suggestions for pages to fix, threads to join and content gaps, since February 2026.
- Brand Perception and GA4 AI referrals. Attributes, objections and AI traffic from GA4, added in September 2026.
- MCP and Looker Studio. An MCP server since April 2026, and a Looker Studio connector from Advanced.
Where it falls short
- 50 prompts on 3 engines on Starter, a tenth of LLMrefs' prompt allowance.
- Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are Enterprise only.
- Actions tell you what to do, but the writing and outreach are still yours.
User reviews
“The analytics give our whole team a shared picture of where our GEO work stands, and the app keeps adding features.” (Source)
“Only a few models come with each tier, which feels limiting at times.” (Source)
“Onboarding suggested 50 prompts, and 40% of them overlapped. We were tracking the same things more than once until we cleaned the list by hand.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: €85/month (about $95) for 50 prompts and 3 engines
- Pro: €205/month for 150 prompts
- Advanced: €425/month for 350 prompts and Looker Studio
- Unlimited users on every plan. Each extra engine costs €25 to €115 a month, depending on the plan.
3. Knowatoa: best for tracking plus writing agents
Knowatoa is an AI search console for small teams that pairs daily visibility tracking with AI agents that research gaps and draft content, from $59 a month. We haven't tested it ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, docs and changelog.
Starter tracks ChatGPT, AI Overviews and AI Mode. Growth, at $199, adds Claude, Gemini, Meta AI and Perplexity for 7 services in total, plus the API, an MCP server, Looker Studio and NinjaCat.
The agents are the main difference from LLMrefs, and they come on every plan. Sam researches content gaps, Connie drafts the articles, and Sophie, added in May 2026, turns them into LinkedIn and Bluesky posts. You approve the drafts, or let them auto-approve at a set time.
Like LLMrefs, it lets you track unlimited sites from one account. All sites share one question limit, though, and Knowatoa doesn't publish what that limit is.
Key features
- Seven AI services on Growth. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Meta AI and Perplexity.
- Agents on every plan. Gap research, article drafts and social posts, with an approval step.
- Daily updates. Answers refresh daily, with a weekly digest of what changed.
- Citation detail. Reddit and YouTube citations with subreddits, channels and view counts, since February 2026.
- Competitor sitemap analysis. Shows which competitor pages AI cites, since April 2026.
Where it falls short
- Starter covers only ChatGPT, AI Overviews and AI Mode, where LLMrefs includes every engine for $79.
- Question limits aren't published.
- API, MCP and Looker Studio need the $199 Growth plan.
User reviews
Knowatoa's G2 profile has no reviews yet, and we found no other independent user reviews to quote.
Pricing
- Starter: $59/month for ChatGPT, AI Overviews and AI Mode
- Growth: $199/month for all 7 services and the reporting integrations
- Enterprise: custom volume and integrations
- Starter and Growth both have a free trial, and annual pricing is available.
4. Otterly.AI: best cheap daily tracker
Otterly.AI is a low-cost AI search monitoring tool for small teams and agencies that checks every prompt daily, from $29 a month.
We signed up and added our brand. Otterly built a competitor list and suggested prompts, and the first report was ready in about 15 minutes. You get coverage, position and sentiment against competitors, plus a Brand Visibility Index that sorts every brand into Leaders, Niche or Low Performance.
Next to LLMrefs, the data is fresher and more detailed per prompt, and you can read each answer as the engine gave it. Sentiment is there too, which LLMrefs doesn't offer.
Engines are the trade-off. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot are included, and AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are paid add-ons, so all seven of its engines on the Standard plan come to about $416 a month, against $79 for LLMrefs' 11.
Key features
- Daily tracking. Every prompt runs every day, on every plan.
- Four engines included. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot.
- GEO audit and recommendations. Page checks plus suggested fixes, capped at 3 a week on Lite.
- Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits from server logs, Cloudflare or a WordPress plugin, added in August 2026.
- Looker Studio, API and MCP. A Looker Studio connector, plus API and MCP requests from Standard.
Where it falls short
- 15 prompts on the $29 Lite plan.
- AI Mode, Gemini and Claude cost extra on every plan.
- Crawler data isn't tied to prompts, and there's no content creation or outreach.
User reviews
“The analytics and recommendations help us keep an eye on our AI visibility, and the support team is top-notch.” (Source)
“The new recommendations section gives us real pointers for GEO. Our industry is niche, though, so the amount of data can be limited.” (Source)
“It's not always clear what to do with the findings.” (Source)
Pricing
- Lite: $29/month for 15 prompts
- Standard: $189/month for 100 prompts
- Premium: $489/month for 400 prompts
- Engine add-ons cost extra. Seats are unlimited, yearly billing saves 15%, and the free trial needs no card.
5. Promptmonitor: best cheap tracker with source contacts
Promptmonitor is a low-cost AI visibility tracker that shows the contact details of the publishers AI cites, which gives LLMrefs users a path from citation data to outreach.
Setup took us about a minute. You enter a domain and the dashboard is there, starting at 0% because there's no history yet.
The Sources report is the part we'd pay for. LLMrefs shows you which URLs get cited, and Promptmonitor adds the model, how often and when each one was seen, an opportunity score and who to contact at the site.
The rest felt less finished. Some suggestions in the Actions tab still talked about 2024 and SGE, and the changelog has been quiet since March 2026. Prices also went up this autumn.
Key features
- Sources report. Every cited URL with model, count, first and last seen dates, and an opportunity score.
- Publisher contacts. Author and site contacts for outreach, on every plan.
- Daily tracking and unlimited seats. From the $79 Growth plan.
- Eight models in total. Starter covers ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity, and Growth adds Claude and DeepSeek.
- City-level tracking. 200+ locations.
Where it falls short
- The $39 Starter plan has 3 engines, checks prompts twice a week and has 1 seat.
- Content suggestions can be out of date.
- Bot analytics needs middleware on your server, and the API is Enterprise only.
User reviews
Promptmonitor has no reviews on G2 or Capterra. Product Hunt has one 5-star review and Trustpilot one 1-star review:
“My marketing team uses it to find more strategic ways to raise our product's visibility.” (Source)
“It never monitored our prompts because the tool was constantly loading, and I was charged after asking to cancel.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $39/month for 25 prompts on 3 engines, checked twice a week, 1 seat
- Growth: $79/month for 50 prompts checked daily, unlimited seats
- Pro: $149/month for 150 prompts checked daily
- Yearly billing saves 15%, and there's a 7-day trial.
6. Trakkr: best for tracking plus content
Trakkr is an AI visibility platform for brands and agencies that includes 8 AI models on every plan and adds article credits, which suits LLMrefs users who like the all-engines price but want daily data and content. We haven't used Trakkr ourselves, so this section draws on its pricing page and product listing.
Growth costs $100 a month for one brand with 50 prompts tracked daily, 25 articles and 3 seats. Scale costs $500 for 10 brands, unlimited seats, white-label client portals and the REST API.
On engines it's close to LLMrefs. Claude, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI are all included with no add-on fees. The gap is volume, since Trakkr tracks 50 prompts per brand, where LLMrefs gives you 500 across unlimited projects.
Key features
- 8 models on every plan. ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, Grok, DeepSeek and Meta AI.
- Daily tracking. Every brand's prompts run every day.
- Articles. 25 a month on Growth and 100 on Scale.
- Perception and site checks. Sentiment, the qualities AI links to your brand, and AI crawler checks.
- Sharing and API. Shared dashboards, CSV export and Google Sheets sync on both plans, and the REST API on Scale.
Where it falls short
- 50 prompts per brand on both plans.
- No AI Mode or Copilot tracking.
- ChatGPT Shopping costs $49 per brand on top.
- The 14-day trial needs a card.
User reviews
Trakkr has a single rating on G2 and no written reviews we could read, so we have no user quotes to share.
Pricing
- Growth: $100/month for 1 brand, 50 prompts, 25 articles and 3 seats
- Scale: $500/month for 10 brands, unlimited seats, white-label portals and API
- Enterprise: from $1,000/month, billed annually
- 14-day free trial, card required. Annual billing saves about 17%.
7. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best keyword-first alternative
The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit is Semrush's add-on for tracking brands in AI search, and like LLMrefs it starts from search data, which makes it the keyword-first alternative for teams already in Semrush. Adobe has owned Semrush since April 2026.
We tried it on the 7-day trial. You click AI in the left menu, enter your domain and get an AI Visibility Score out of 100. Prompt Research was the report we kept going back to, because it works like Keyword Magic for AI questions, with volume and intent from a database of more than 317 million prompts.
The allowance is small next to LLMrefs. The base plan tracks 25 prompts for one domain at $99 a month, and each extra domain and each extra user costs more.
The engines also change by report, which confused us at first. Prompt Tracking runs daily on ChatGPT Search, AI Mode and Gemini. Brand Performance adds Perplexity and AI Overviews and updates weekly.
Key features
- AI Visibility Score. One score out of 100 for your domain against up to 4 competitors.
- Prompt Research. Prompt volume and intent estimates, much like LLMrefs' prompt volume per keyword.
- Brand Performance. Share of voice, sentiment and the sources shaping how AI describes you.
- Prompt Tracking. Daily tracking inside Position Tracking.
- AI search site audit. Checks how ready your pages are for AI crawlers.
- Semrush MCP. Query the data from Claude in plain language.
Where it falls short
- 25 prompts per domain on the base plan, and 50 more cost $60 a month.
- Every extra domain is another $99, and every extra user needs a license.
- Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are on the Enterprise AIO tier only.
- It recommends but doesn't do the work.
User reviews
Most Semrush reviews cover the SEO suite. These two are about the AI toolkit:
“The AI Visibility score shows how our brand turns up in AI answers and gives our AEO work a clear direction.” (Source)
“Updates are mostly weekly, and the recommendations can be too high-level to act on.” (Source)
Pricing
- AI Visibility Toolkit: $99/month per domain for 25 prompts
- Semrush One: from $199/month with 50 prompts
- Semrush offers a 7-day trial on its SEO and AI plans.
8. Scrunch: best for technical teams
Scrunch is an AI visibility platform for mid-market and enterprise teams that care about how AI crawlers read their site as much as what the answers say. Sitecore bought it in June 2026.
We used it on the 7-day trial. Onboarding is guided. Scrunch drafts a brand description from your site, you confirm it, add competitors, a persona and your topics, and start from five suggested prompts.
Its pricing changed a lot this year. The one self-serve plan, Core at $250, covers ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot with 125 prompts. Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Meta AI and Grok are Enterprise only, so you pay three times LLMrefs' price for fewer engines.
The technical side is the reason to look at it. Site audits and Agent Traffic show how AI crawlers read your pages, and AXP, on Enterprise, serves AI agents a simpler version of each page from your CDN. LLMrefs has a free AI crawlability checker but no site audits.
Key features
- Core engines. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot, with 125 prompts and 5,000 responses a month.
- Enterprise engines. Adds Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, AI Mode and Grok, for 9 in total.
- Site audits. 5 a month on Core, checking how AI crawlers read your pages.
- Agent Traffic. AI crawler visits by page, once you connect your CDN or host.
- AXP. Serves AI agents a machine-readable version of your pages, on Enterprise.
- GA4 and MCP. AI referral traffic from GA4, plus an MCP server.
Where it falls short
- $250 a month for 4 engines and 125 prompts.
- Claude, Gemini and AI Mode need an Enterprise contract.
- Core covers 1 persona, 1 country, 1 language and 5 seats.
- New prompts run daily for 14 days, then every 72 hours.
User reviews
“Curating our own prompts from search demand data gives us the closest-to-truth view of our clients' AI visibility, and the support is the best I've had from a software company.” (Source)
“We tested pretty much every AI visibility tool, and Scrunch had the best price and the most intuitive data.” (Source)
“We can't export the graphs, so we screenshot them for client reports.” (Source)
Pricing
- Core: $250/month for 125 prompts on 4 engines, 5 seats and 5 site audits
- Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, custom prompts, AXP, API and SSO
- 7-day free trial on Core.
9. SE Visible: best for agencies
SE Visible is SE Ranking's standalone AI visibility tracker, with daily checks, prompts pooled across projects and unlimited users, which suits agencies that like LLMrefs' multi-brand pricing but want daily data.
We used the 10-day trial. Setup asks for a brand name, up to five topics, and a country and language. After the first scan it suggested competitors and other names for our brand, which saved some typing.
The prompt allowance is the closest to LLMrefs on this list. Basic gives you 200 prompts across 3 projects for $99, and each prompt counts once however many engines it runs on. We liked reading each answer exactly as the engine gave it.
Engines are where it falls behind. It covers four, and Claude is still marked coming soon.
Key features
- Four engines. ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews on current plans.
- Pooled prompts. One allowance shared across projects and engines.
- Daily refresh through real browser sessions.
- Sources with Gap Score. Ranks the sources that cite competitors but not you, since July 2026.
- Unlimited users and an API on every plan, with CSV and XLSX exports.
Where it falls short
- No Claude yet, and Copilot and Grok aren't tracked.
- No PDF or white-label reports.
- Tracks only, with no content or outreach.
User reviews
SE Visible has no reviews on G2 or Capterra yet, so we have no user quotes to share.
Pricing
- Basic: $99/month for 200 prompts and 3 projects
- Core: $189/month for 450 prompts and 5 projects
- Plus: $355/month for 1,000 prompts and 10 projects, by demo
- Yearly billing saves 20%, and there's a 10-day free trial.
10. Profound: best for enterprise
Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform used by more than 1,000 brands, including a third of the Fortune 100, and it suits large teams that need far more depth and support than LLMrefs offers.
We tested it on the 7-day trial. Profound picked 50 prompts for our industry, we couldn't edit them, and only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews ran, with no history or export. So the trial shows how the product feels more than how your brand really performs.
What it does better than LLMrefs is depth. Prompt Volumes estimates how often people really ask a question, from more than 1.5 billion prompts in 35 countries, and Enterprise tracks nine engines. AI Marketer agents draft and publish content, and in October it added agents you set up from a plain-language request.
Since September 2026, brands can only buy it through sales, the same month it raised a $180 million Series D.
Key features
- Nine engines on Enterprise. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews and Exa.
- Prompt Volumes. Demand estimates from 1.5 billion+ prompts in 35 countries, updated weekly.
- AI Marketer. Agents that draft and publish content, with a Context Manager that learns your brand.
- Agent Analytics. AI crawler activity on your site.
- Enterprise controls. SSO, API, exports, MCP and a Claude connector.
Where it falls short
- No self-serve plan for brands, so pricing goes through sales.
- The trial runs preset prompts on three engines.
- Agent work draws on credits on top of the contract.
- There's a lot to learn before the dashboards make sense.
User reviews
“We can see our visibility and citations across AI platforms, plus the sentiment around us.” (Source)
“It ships features faster than the well-known competitors, and the API speeds up our agentic workflows. I'd like a more flexible pricing model that matches what brings us value.” (Source)
“Knowing where to find things in the product takes a learning curve.” (Source)
Pricing
- Brands: custom Enterprise pricing through sales
- Agencies: a separate self-serve Agency Growth plan
- Trial: 7 days free, with 50 preset prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews
What changed with LLMrefs in 2026
LLMrefs has kept the same idea and the same price this year, and a few details have moved. We checked its pricing page, FAQ and blog in November 2026.
- Same $79 plan, still marked limited time. All in One costs what it did when Generate More tested it in November 2025. There's no annual plan or enterprise tier on the page, and more keywords are sold as an upgrade with no listed price.
- Counted in prompts. The plan now lists 500 prompts. Independent reviews still describe it as about 50 keywords, each fanned out into roughly 10 prompts.
- Weekly at minimum. The FAQ says every keyword updates in the dashboard at least once a week. Generate More's test account refreshed monthly in 2025.
- Ten engines listed. The FAQ names ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Grok, Copilot, Meta AI and DeepSeek, and the homepage shows ChatGPT Search separately. The plan card shows nine of them, without DeepSeek.
- ChatGPT ads data. In April 2026 LLMrefs published research from 682,000 ChatGPT answers, finding sponsored ads in 19.6% of sampled US responses.
- Still no sentiment or content tools. The product pages list no sentiment analysis, AI traffic analytics or content features. The free extras are an AI crawlability checker, a Reddit threads finder and an llms.txt generator.
When to stay with LLMrefs
For a lot of SEO teams LLMrefs is still a sensible buy. We haven't run it ourselves, so this is based on its pricing page, FAQ and independent reviews.
Stay with LLMrefs if:
- You want the most engines for the least money, and weekly data is enough.
- Your team plans content around keyword lists and likes seeing AI results rolled up per keyword.
- You track many brands or clients. Every account gets unlimited projects and unlimited team members.
- You want prompt volume estimates for your topics without paying for an SEO suite.
User reviews
LLMrefs has no reviews on G2 or Trustpilot, and its one Product Hunt review is a single line of praise, so we have no user quotes to share.
