Searchable alternatives make sense when you need more AI engines than Searchable includes, want agents that keep working without being asked, or want to pay less. Searchable bundles tracking, 20 articles and 200 page audits into its $125 Pro plan, raised $14 million in May 2026 and now has a chat agent that writes and publishes to WordPress, Webflow or Shopify. But Pro includes only ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity, and Copilot, AI Mode, Gemini, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are paid add-ons.
White-label reports and Looker Studio start on the $400 Scale plan, and some reviewers report a buggy content editor. These 10 Searchable alternatives include more engines, go deeper on AI answers, write more, or cost less. Prices checked in November 2026.
How we compared these Searchable alternatives
We signed up for Writesonic, Promptwatch, Peec AI, Otterly.AI, Profound and Scrunch, ran the same buyer prompts through each, and set them against what Searchable's $125 Pro plan includes. For each one we looked at:
- Which AI engines the plan you can buy covers, and what Claude and Grok cost
- Prompt limits, refresh rate and how long setup takes
- Whether it writes, publishes or runs outreach, and the real monthly cost
We haven't used Searchable itself, so we describe it from its pricing page, docs, changelog and reviews. AthenaHQ needed a sales call, and for AirOps and Frase we also went by docs, demo videos and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2 and Trustpilot and link to the original.
Orchly is our product. We judged it on the same points and say where it falls short. Prices and features checked in November 2026.

1. Orchly: best agentic Searchable alternative to improve AI visibility
Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as add-ons (it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek), and its agents run on their own, on a schedule, across the whole loop.
They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors and your Search Console and GA4 data. They find the pages to write or refresh and do it in your brand voice, keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.
Searchable gives you a chat agent that does a task when you ask for it. Orchly's agents keep running the work end to end without being asked, outreach included, from $49 a month.
From task to published page
- Content Agent. Finds what to write and refresh from your data, drafts in your voice and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or Ghost, directly or after your approval.
- Activation Agent. Finds the publishers, people, Reddit threads and YouTube videos AI engines cite, runs the outreach and drafts the Reddit replies. Searchable works on your own site and content.
- Site Health Agent. Audits every page and ranks the fixes.
Deeper AI answer analysis
- Prompts by brand and intent. Branded vs non-branded, and commercial, informational or transactional.
- Perception and fact check. Attributes, objections, and AI claims checked against your Brand Brain.
- Mention Gap, fan-outs and shopping. Cited sources that skip you, the background searches behind answers, and your products in ChatGPT shopping.
- Search Console and GA4. Organic clicks, conversions and revenue from Google Search Console and GA4.

Pricing: Essential $49/month (25 prompts, 20 articles). Pro $125/month (100 prompts, 50 articles, 5 users). 7-day free trial.
See Orchly pricing or start a free trial.
2. Writesonic: best AI writer with tracking
Writesonic is an AI writing and GEO platform that tracks your brand in AI answers and writes articles you can publish to WordPress, which suits content teams that want more writing volume than Searchable's 20 articles a month.
We signed up and had it tracking in a few minutes. You choose topics, prune the suggested prompts, add competitors, and citation share starts filling in daily.
The writer is what you're paying for. Plans include 15, 25 or 50 articles a month, and the Action Center checks each fix again after 14 and 28 days, so you can see whether a change moved anything.
What we didn't like was the engine list. Every self-serve plan tracks only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, so Perplexity, which Searchable includes, needs Enterprise along with Claude, Grok, Copilot and AI Mode.
Key features
- Articles plus tracking. 15, 25 or 50 AI articles a month, published to WordPress.
- Daily tracking with citation share and the pages that get cited.
- Action Center. Fixes re-measured on day 14 and day 28, in full on Enterprise.
- Reddit and Search Console as data sources.
- MCP server and Project Hub, both added in June 2026.
Where it falls short
- Self-serve plans track only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews.
- Sentiment starts on Growth at $399 a month.
- Starter is billed yearly and has 1 user, where Searchable gives unlimited seats.
User reviews
“I also tried Peec, Profound, Otterly and Searchable, and having SEO and AEO in one tool is a plus. But a 7-day trial isn't long enough to decide whether to pay.” (Source)
“We had no idea how we did in ChatGPT or Claude. Now we see which pages get cited and the prompts where we're missing.” (Source)
“Constant bugs, charts that don't populate, and slow support.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $79/month billed yearly, for 50 prompts and 1 user
- Basic: $199/month for 100 prompts and 2 users
- Growth: $399/month for 200 prompts, 3 users and sentiment
- You can start free without a card. Enterprise adds the other engines.
3. Promptwatch: best for tracking, logs and content
Promptwatch is an AI search visibility platform that combines prompt tracking, content writing and AI crawler logs, and it suits growth teams that want Claude and other engines included without paying per model.
We used the 7-day trial. You enter your URL, choose 5 prompts to start, and it collects answers from the chatbots' own interfaces instead of their APIs.
Coming from Searchable, the big difference is engines. Every plan includes all of Promptwatch's models, Claude among them, where Searchable charges for anything past ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Perplexity.
The limit is the response allowance. Essential's 6,000 responses a month won't run 50 prompts on every model every day, and content writing and crawler logs start on Professional at $245. The dashboards are dense, and we spent most of our time in Citations Analysis.
Key features
- All models on every plan. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Gemini, Meta AI, DeepSeek and Copilot.
- Citations Analysis. Which of your pages and which third-party sources get pulled into answers.
- Content writing and refresh. Grounded in a knowledge base, from Professional.
- Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits through log integrations, from Professional.
- MCP and API on every plan, plus Search Console, WordPress, Webflow and Slack integrations.
Where it falls short
- 6,000 responses on Essential limit how many models you can run daily.
- Content tools and crawler logs need the $245 plan.
- No Grok, and no outreach.
User reviews
“We track 60 prompts and can finally see which ones surface us in ChatGPT and Perplexity and which only ever return competitors.” (Source)
“The UI is slightly complicated, so we've stopped using it and work only through the MCP and skills.” (Source)
“Support fixed my issues quickly, and new features arrive every month.” (Source)
Pricing
- Essential: $95/month for 50 prompts, 6,000 responses and 1 project
- Professional: $245/month for 150 prompts, 18,000 responses, content writing and Agent Analytics
- Business: $579/month for 350 prompts and 5 projects, by demo
- Essential and Professional have a 7-day free trial.
4. Peec AI: best pure tracker
Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform for marketing teams and agencies, and its €85 Starter plan gives you clean daily tracking with unlimited users, which suits teams that already have writers and only want the data.
We signed up and it was running within minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors filled in per engine.
The sources view is the part we used most. Cited domains are labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC, which made it quick to see what kind of sites shape answers in our category.
It doesn't write or publish anything, though. Actions suggest pages to fix and threads to join, and your team does the work. Starter's 50 prompts are half of what Searchable Pro tracks.
Key features
- Model choice. Any 3 models, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode, AI Overviews or Copilot, with Perplexity and more from €25 a month.
- Source analytics. Cited domains and URLs labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC.
- Actions. Ranked suggestions for pages, threads and content gaps, since February 2026.
- Brand Perception and GA4 AI referrals, added in September 2026.
- MCP server since April 2026, plus Looker Studio on Advanced.
Where it falls short
- 50 prompts on Starter.
- Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need an Enterprise plan.
- No article writing, publishing or outreach.
User reviews
“For the price, I think they're the best in the market, and the Looker connection is solid.” (Source)
“Onboarding suggested 50 prompts, but about 40% of them overlapped, so we tracked the same things twice until we cleaned them up.” (Source)
“It shows how our AI visibility is trending but doesn't say clearly how to improve it.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: €85/month for 50 prompts and 3 models
- Pro: €205/month for 150 prompts
- Advanced: €425/month for 350 prompts and Looker Studio
- Unlimited users on every plan, and 15% off with yearly billing.
5. Otterly.AI: best budget tracker
Otterly.AI is a low-cost AI search monitoring tool for small teams and agencies, and its $29 Lite plan includes four engines, one more than Searchable Pro, for less than a quarter of the price.
We've used Otterly ourselves. We added our brand, it suggested competitors and prompts, and the first report was ready in about 15 minutes.
The dashboard is simple. Coverage, position and sentiment sit next to a Brand Visibility Index that sorts brands into Leaders, Niche and Low Performance, and we liked how fast it showed which competitor owns each prompt.
It's a tracker, so there are no articles or page audits like Searchable's. Lite's 15 prompts run out fast, and AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are monthly add-ons.
Key features
- Four engines included. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity and Copilot.
- Daily runs with unlimited seats.
- GEO URL audits and recommendations for your pages.
- Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits from server logs, since August 2026.
- ChatGPT Ads and Shopping columns since June 2026.
Where it falls short
- 15 prompts on Lite, and GEO recommendations capped at 3 a week.
- Adding all three extra engines to Standard takes it to about $416 a month.
- No article writing, publishing or outreach.
User reviews
“Otterly is our go-to GEO platform, for us and for our clients.” (Source)
“The sentiment analysis is ultra-sensitive. Purely factual mentions of our brand get marked slightly negative.” (Source)
“The dashboard is clean and shows how content updates move our visibility. I'd still like more filters and customizable reports.” (Source)
Pricing
- Lite: $29/month for 15 prompts
- Standard: $189/month for 100 prompts, with API and MCP access
- Premium: $489/month for 400 prompts
- Yearly billing saves 15%, and the free trial needs no card.
6. AirOps: best for custom content workflows
AirOps is a content engineering platform where teams build workflows that research, write and refresh pages for AI search, and it suits content operations teams with the time to set up their own pipelines.
We haven't used AirOps ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, docs, launch announcements and G2 reviews.
The core is a workflow builder billed in tasks. In May 2026 AirOps added Quill, an agent that runs playbooks to monitor pages, refresh them and draft new content, and in February it launched Offsite for finding and pitching the third-party sites AI engines cite, either self-serve or as a managed service.
Pricing is harder to pin down than Searchable's. Solo is free but tracks ChatGPT only, and the pricing page doesn't list a price for Pro, which covers 7+ answer engines. Reviewers say setup takes real time.
Key features
- Workflows and playbooks. Build multi-step content pipelines with brand kits and knowledge bases.
- Quill. An agent that monitors, updates and drafts content from playbooks, since May 2026.
- Offsite. Publisher discovery, an Influence Score and outreach to the sites AI cites.
- AI search insights. ChatGPT on Solo and 7+ answer engines on Pro, with personas, regions and languages.
- CMS, Search Console and GA4 integrations, plus an MCP server and API.
Where it falls short
- No published price for Pro.
- Solo tracks ChatGPT only, for one user.
- A steep learning curve before workflows pay off.
User reviews
“The Writing Rules playbook keeps my articles in my own voice, and connecting Analytics and Search Console was easy.” (Source)
“It's not plug and play. The learning curve is steep, so it suits mid-size and enterprise teams.” (Source)
“We've caught incorrect stats and wrong product details before publishing, so editing time is still real.” (Source)
Pricing
- Solo: free, with ChatGPT insights, 35,000 tasks and 1 user
- Pro: price not published, with 7+ engines, 100,000 tasks and unlimited seats
- Enterprise: custom limits, custom agent builds and a dedicated account manager
7. AthenaHQ: best for many engines
AthenaHQ is a Y Combinator-backed AI search platform with a free plan and 11 engines on its $295 Starter plan, Claude and Grok included, which suits teams that want broad engine coverage without paying per model. AthenaHQ sent us to a sales call before giving access, so this section is based on its documentation, demo videos and G2 reviews.
According to the docs, setup only needs a domain. AthenaHQ drafts a brand profile, suggests about 10 competitors and 10 prompts, and every metric links back to the stored answers behind it.
It runs on credits, not prompts. One credit is one AI response, so Starter's 3,600 credits go quickly across 11 engines, and self-serve plans cover one country where Searchable lets you track unlimited regions.
Key features
- 11 engines on Starter, including AI Mode, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral.
- Free plan. Essentials gives 300 credits on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot.
- Clickable metrics. Share of voice, mention rate and citation rate by model, each linked to the answers.
- Sources and Brand Traits. Cited domains marked as yours, a competitor's or a third party's.
- Unlimited seats on every plan.
Where it falls short
- No plan between free and $295 a month.
- Personas, the recommendation engine, BI exports and SSO are Enterprise only.
- No article writing or outreach on self-serve plans.
User reviews
“It shows which competitor articles get cited instead of ours, and in what format, so we know what to write.” (Source)
“There are no industry templates, so building the prompt library took a few days.” (Source)
Pricing
- Essentials: free, with 300 credits on 5 engines
- Starter: $295/month, about $245 billed yearly, for 3,600 credits on 11 engines
- Enterprise: custom
8. Frase: best budget writer
Frase is an SEO and GEO content platform that researches, writes, publishes and refreshes articles from $39 a month billed yearly, which makes it a cheaper writing-first alternative to Searchable for solo marketers.
We know Frase from its pricing page, docs and user reviews, not from our own trial.
Since its relaunch in January 2026, Frase works as an agent that drafts articles in your voice and can publish them to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity or Wix on its own. Content Guard watches your pages for ranking and traffic decay and drafts the fix for you to approve.
Tracking is lighter than Searchable's. Starter follows 20 prompts on ChatGPT and Google AI, Professional adds Perplexity, and Claude and Gemini need Scale at $239 a month billed yearly.
Key features
- Agent writing and auto-publish. 10, 40 or 100 articles a month, depending on plan.
- Content Guard. Watches 10, 75 or 300 pages for decay and drafts the fix.
- SEO and GEO scores for drafts and live pages, with 50 audit pages a month on Starter.
- AI Visibility. 20, 50 or 75 tracked prompts, checked daily.
- MCP server and CLI on every plan.
Where it falls short
- Starter tracks only ChatGPT and Google AI.
- 1 seat and 1 site on Starter.
- AI crawler monitoring starts on Professional.
User reviews
“Frase is very helpful for auditing and finding where to create new content, and our visibility in search engines and LLMs has improved.” (Source)
“I used the API and MCP server to build comparison pages quickly, and they showed up in Google and LLM results sooner than I expected.” (Source)
“The AI writer keeps looping the same text, and I had to move everything out of Frase to edit it.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $39/month billed yearly ($49 monthly) for 10 articles, 20 prompts and 1 seat
- Professional: $103/month billed yearly ($129 monthly) for 40 articles, 50 prompts and 3 seats
- Scale: $239/month billed yearly ($299 monthly) for 100 articles, 75 prompts and 5 seats
- 7-day free trial with no card.
9. Profound: best for enterprise
Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform used by more than 1,000 brands, including a third of the Fortune 100, and it suits large teams that want nine engines, prompt volume data and AI Marketer agents under one contract.
We tested it on the 7-day trial. Profound picked 50 prompts for our industry that we couldn't edit, and only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews ran, so we learned the product more than our own market.
It goes well past Searchable on data. Prompt Volumes estimates how often people really ask a question, from more than 1.5 billion prompts in 35 countries, and Enterprise covers Claude, Copilot, AI Mode and DeepSeek without add-on fees.
It's also much harder to buy. Since September 2026 brands can only get it through sales, and AI Marketer's agent work draws on credit wallets, added in October.
Key features
- Nine engines on Enterprise. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews and Exa.
- Prompt Volumes. Demand estimates from 1.5 billion+ prompts in 35 countries, updated weekly.
- AI Marketer. Agents that draft and publish content, now set up from a plain-language request.
- Agent Analytics and Shopping. AI crawler visits and product visibility in AI shopping answers.
- Enterprise controls. SSO, API, exports, MCP and a Claude connector.
Where it falls short
- No self-serve plan for brands.
- The trial runs preset prompts on three engines.
- No Grok since Exa replaced it in September 2026.
User reviews
“AI used to be a black box for us, and now we can see how our brand shows up. The price can put you off at first if you're not a large company.” (Source)
“It's not the easiest tool, but the onboarding material and Slack integration help, and it saves us maintaining our own workflows.” (Source)
“It's limited to a select number of LLMs.” (Source)
Pricing
- Brands: custom Enterprise pricing through sales
- Agencies: a separate self-serve Agency Growth plan
- Trial: 7 days, with 50 preset prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews
10. Scrunch: best for personas and technical AEO
Scrunch is an AI visibility platform for mid-market and enterprise teams that care about how AI crawlers read their site as much as what the answers say, and Sitecore has owned it since June 2026.
We used it on the 7-day trial. Onboarding is guided. Scrunch drafts a brand description from your site, you confirm it, add competitors, a persona and your topics, and start from five suggested prompts.
Core costs $250 a month for 125 prompts on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot. That's one engine more than Searchable Pro includes, but you get one persona, one country and no articles.
New prompts run daily for 14 days and then every 72 hours, which felt slow next to the daily runs most tools here offer. Claude, Gemini, AI Mode and Grok need an Enterprise contract.
Key features
- Four engines on Core. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot, with 5,000 responses a month.
- Personas. Filter answers by audience, with more personas on Enterprise.
- Agent Traffic. AI crawler visits by page, once you connect your CDN or host.
- Site audits. 5 a month on Core, plus GA4 AI referrals and an MCP server.
- Agent Experience Platform (AXP). Serves AI agents an optimized version of your pages, on Enterprise.
Where it falls short
- 1 persona, 1 country and 1 language on Core.
- Claude, Gemini, AI Mode and Grok are Enterprise only.
- No content creation, publishing or outreach.
User reviews
“Moving from Semrush's AI tool was a great decision, and onboarding all our clients took a couple of hours. Connecting the agent traffic tool to clients' CMS is hard, though.” (Source)
“The data is granular, down to how answers change for different users, but the recent UI overhaul made it harder to use.” (Source)
Pricing
- Core: $250/month for 125 prompts on 4 engines, 5 seats and 5 site audits
- Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, custom prompts, AXP, API and SSO
- 7-day free trial on Core.
What changed with Searchable in 2026
Searchable's changelog has been busy this year. These are the changes that matter most if you're comparing it, taken from the changelog and Searchable's press releases.
- New plan names and prices (May). A pricing redesign on May 15 settled on Pro at $125, Scale at $400 and Enterprise from $999 a month. G2 still lists the old Professional name.
- $14 million round (May). Headline led the round at an $85 million valuation. Searchable said it had reached $2 million in revenue in 4.5 months and nearly 1,000 customers.
- An agent that writes and publishes (July). Content became a mode of the Searchable Agent. It plans the piece, waits for your approval, writes it, and publishes to WordPress, Webflow or Shopify. Plan mode, rebuilt Reports and ChatGPT ads data arrived the same month.
- AI Mode shopping and ads (August). Product cards and sponsored ads in Google AI Mode answers, plus a gallery of reusable Agent Skills.
- Claude Lite and Grok Lite (September). Cheaper add-ons that answer from model knowledge with web search off, so they return no live citations.
- Agency white-label and migrations (September). A white-label version of the platform for agencies, imports of prompts and history from Scrunch and Peec AI, and the acquisition of New York startup Meridian in a seven-figure deal.
- Prompt Universe (October). A map of the topics and questions buyers could ask about your brand, used to choose which prompts to track. It's rolling out to existing customers first.
When to stay with Searchable
We haven't used Searchable ourselves. This is based on its pricing page, documentation, changelog and the reviews below.
Stay with Searchable if:
- You want tracking, 20 articles and 200 page audits a month in one $125 plan, with unlimited seats.
- You like working through a chat agent that plans, writes and publishes to WordPress, Webflow or Shopify.
- You want ChatGPT and AI Mode ads and shopping data next to your visibility numbers.
- You run an agency and want pitch workspaces, white-label reports and client discounts.
- You need 14 days to evaluate before paying.
User reviews
Searchable has a 4.8 rating from 104 reviews on G2, and its Trustpilot reviews are mostly five stars with a few sharp complaints.
“It's easy to use without a technical background, and it explains in plain language what to do and why it matters.” (Source)
“It gives you insights and then tells you what to actually do to fix the problems.” (Source)
“The idea is great, but the content editor breaks every time, and it made up schema instead of using the details I entered.” (Source)
Which Searchable alternative should you choose?
- You want agents that run the work on their own, from analysis to content, outreach and site fixes: Orchly.
- You want the most articles per dollar with tracking attached: Writesonic or Frase.
- You want every engine included, plus crawler logs: Promptwatch.
- You want focused tracking without content: Peec AI or Otterly.AI.
- You want to build your own content pipelines: AirOps.
- You want Claude and Grok without per-model add-ons: AthenaHQ.
- You're a large enterprise that needs prompt volume data: Profound.
- You care about personas and how AI crawlers read your site: Scrunch.
AI answers change from day to day, so judge any of these on the trend over a few weeks, not a single reading.
