10 Best Google AI Mode Rank Tracking Tools in 2026

The best Google AI Mode rank tracking tools in November 2026 are Orchly, SE Ranking, Peec AI, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit and Ahrefs Brand Radar, with ZipTie, Nightwatch, Advanced Web Ranking, Keyword.com and Rankscale for narrower jobs. We judged all 10 on the cheapest plan that tracks AI Mode itself, separate from AI Overviews and the Gemini app, plus its price, prompts, refresh rate and country coverage.

AI Mode is worth tracking on its own. Google says it has passed a billion monthly active users, and Ahrefs found AI Mode and AI Overviews cite the same URLs only 13.7% of the time. Prices checked in November 2026.

Editor's note

How we checked these AI Mode trackers

We've used Peec AI, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Rankscale and SE Visible, SE Ranking's AI visibility product, on their trials or entry plans. For this list we went back to every pricing page and noted:

  • Which plan tracks Google AI Mode itself, and what it costs
  • Prompts on that plan, how often AI Mode re-runs and which countries it covers
  • Whether AI Mode is kept apart from AI Overviews, and what the tool does next

Ahrefs Brand Radar has no trial, and ZipTie, Nightwatch, Advanced Web Ranking and Keyword.com aren't on our tested list, so for those we went by pricing pages, docs and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2, Trustpilot, OMR and Product Hunt and link to the original.

Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

1. Orchly: best AI Mode tracker to appear in more AI Mode answers

Orchly AI visibility overview showing AI Visibility Score, Share of Voice, sentiment, average position and a competitor leaderboard
Orchly's AI visibility overview, split by engine

Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. Its Google AI Mode rank tracker, a paid add-on, runs your prompts every day through the real AI Mode interface, not an API, in the country you set for each prompt, and records whether you're mentioned, your position and every source AI Mode cites. ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews are included on every plan, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons, and it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek.

Its agents run on their own, on a schedule. They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors, your SEO and your Search Console and GA4 data, decide what to write and which pages to refresh, and do it in your brand voice. They keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.

AI Mode cites more sources than any other Google surface. A Profound study of May 2026 data counted about 15 citations per AI Mode answer, against 11 for AI Overviews and 7 for the Gemini app, so there are more ways in. Most trackers on this list give you an AI Mode score and a to-do list, while Orchly's agents run the work end to end, from $49 a month plus the AI Mode add-on.

The searches behind every AI Mode answer

  • Query fan-outs. The web searches AI models run behind your prompts, from the platforms that reveal them, with how visible you are in the answers that used each one. If you don't cover those searches, you rarely get cited.

AI Mode and AI Overviews, kept apart

  • Separate tracking. Ahrefs found AI Mode and AI Overviews cite the same URLs only 13.7% of the time. Orchly tracks AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini as separate engines, with AI Overviews included on every plan.
  • Prompts by brand and intent. Branded vs non-branded, and commercial, informational or transactional.

Your Google data in the same place

  • Search Console and GA4. Google counts AI Mode traffic inside Search Console's Web search type, with no filter of its own. Orchly puts your Search Console and GA4 data next to prompt-level AI Mode tracking, so you can see both sides.

  • Indexing and Page 360. Unindexed pages can't be cited. Orchly flags them and shows each page's organic and AI data together.

Getting cited more

  • Content, Activation and Site Health agents. The Content Agent picks the prompts you lose, writes new articles and refreshes pages in your brand voice, and publishes them to your CMS, on its own or after your approval. The Activation Agent finds the sites and people AI Mode cites and runs the outreach, and the Site Health Agent audits technical SEO and AI search issues, with the fixes ranked.

Where Orchly falls short

  • AI Mode is a paid add-on. ChatGPT, Perplexity and AI Overviews are included on every plan, and AI Mode costs extra. SE Ranking, Semrush and Nightwatch include it, and Peec AI counts it as one of your 3 models.
  • Prompt-based, not keyword-based. 25 prompts on Essential is enough to start. If you want AI Mode checks for thousands of keywords, a rank tracker like SE Ranking or Advanced Web Ranking costs less.
  • No prompt volume estimates. Orchly suggests prompts from your market and site, but doesn't estimate how often each one is asked. Semrush and Ahrefs do.

Orchly pricing

  • Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts refreshed daily, 20 articles, 1 site and 1 user
  • Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with AI traffic analytics, custom agents and white-label reports
  • Enterprise: custom, with a customer success manager
  • Google AI Mode is a paid add-on on every plan. There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%. For a quick one-off check, Orchly also has a free AI Mode rank tracker.

2. SE Ranking: best for AI Mode next to large keyword sets

SE Ranking AI Mode tracker report

SE Ranking is an SEO platform whose AI Results Tracker checks your prompts in Google AI Mode every day from its $129 Core plan, next to rank tracking for 2,000 keywords, which suits SEO teams that want AI Mode and classic rankings in one tool.

We haven't used SE Ranking's AI Results Tracker itself, so this section is based on its pricing page and AI Mode tracker page. We have used SE Visible, its sister product for AI visibility, which suggested competitors after the first scan and saved us some typing.

You don't need an add-on to start. Core includes 100 prompts tracked daily across 5 LLMs, and SE Ranking's AI Mode tracker page sells AI Mode from Core.

The AI Mode report counts brand mentions and links to your domain, and shows the average position of those links. The AI Search add-on, $89 a month, adds 200 more prompts on AI Overviews, AI Mode and ChatGPT plus the SE Visible dashboard. SE Ranking doesn't say which countries AI Mode tracking covers.

Key features

  • AI Results Tracker. Mentions, links and link position in AI Mode, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity.
  • 100 daily prompts on Core, 250 on Growth, on top of 2,000 or 5,000 tracked keywords.
  • AI ads detection. Competitive Research shows which domains run ads in AI Mode and ChatGPT answers.
  • API and MCP on every plan, with 25,000 API credits a month on Core.

Where it falls short

  • One manager seat on Core.
  • No Claude, Grok or Copilot in the AI tracker.
  • Payments are non-refundable, and it tracks and reports without writing content or doing outreach.

User reviews

Most SE Ranking reviews are about its rank tracker. These two are recent and mention the AI side or the tracking it sits on.

“Great tool for our agency, and I love that I can research AI search for our website too.” (Source)

“It was a cost-effective rank tracker for years, but from mid-September tracking became unreliable and we couldn't get an ETA for the fix.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Core: $129/month ($103.20 billed yearly) for 2,000 keywords and 100 daily prompts
  • Growth: $279/month ($223.20 billed yearly) for 5,000 keywords, 250 daily prompts and 3 seats
  • AI Search add-on: $89/month ($71.20 billed yearly) for 200 more prompts and SE Visible
  • There's a 14-day free trial with 20 AI prompts a day.

3. Peec AI: best for daily AI Mode data with unlimited seats

Peec AI dashboard

Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform that tracks Google AI Mode daily on every plan from $95 (€85) a month, as one of the three models you pick, which suits teams that want clean AI Mode data with unlimited seats.

We signed up and ran it on our usual buyer prompts. Setup took a few minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors filled in for each model.

For AI Mode, the model picker is the thing to understand. Starter, Pro and Advanced let you choose 3 of ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI. AI Mode and AI Overviews count as separate models, so tracking both Google surfaces uses two of your three slots.

Peec collects answers by scraping the interface people use, and its FAQ says you can track any supported country or language at no extra cost. The sources view, with every cited domain labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC, was the part we kept coming back to.

Key features

  • Daily AI Mode tracking. Visibility, position, sentiment and share of voice per prompt.
  • Model choice. 3 models per plan, with AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini tracked separately.
  • Countries and languages at no extra cost, and multi-country projects on Advanced.
  • Actions and Peec Agent. Ranked fixes from your data, and since October 22, 2026, an agent that drafts briefs and page edits.
  • Unlimited users on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • AI Mode uses one of your 3 model slots, and extra models cost more.
  • Claude, Grok and DeepSeek are Enterprise only.
  • The agent drafts, but publishing and outreach stay with your team.

User reviews

We've quoted most of Peec AI's reviews in earlier comparisons, so we kept this to two, with parts we hadn't leaned on.

“It helps us find content gaps and the listicles and blog posts worth getting featured in.” (Source)

“There's a subscription wall between the AI models. You only get a few per tier, which feels limiting at times.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter: $95/month (€85) for 50 prompts on 3 models, daily, 1 project
  • Pro: $245/month (€205) for 150 prompts and 2 projects
  • Advanced: $495/month (€425) for 350 prompts, 5 projects and multi-country tracking
  • Extra models cost more on every plan. Yearly billing saves 15%, and there's a free trial.

4. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for Semrush users

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit report

The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit tracks your daily position in Google AI Mode through Prompt Tracking, from $99 a month per domain billed annually, which suits SEO teams that want AI Mode next to their Google rankings in one tool.

We used the AI Visibility Toolkit ourselves. You click AI in the left menu, enter your domain and get an AI Visibility Score out of 100, which is easy to explain to a manager.

For AI Mode, Prompt Tracking is the part that matters. You add prompts to a Position Tracking campaign, pick AI Mode and a location, and get daily visibility and average position the same way Semrush tracks Google rankings. Semrush says responses come from real requests, not LLM APIs.

AI Overviews, Gemini and ChatGPT Search sit in the same report, so you can compare AI Mode with the other Google surfaces prompt by prompt. The allowance is what held us back. $99 buys 25 prompts for one domain.

Key features

  • Prompt Tracking. Daily AI Mode, AI Overviews, Gemini and ChatGPT Search positions inside Position Tracking, for the location you set.
  • Prompt Research. Volume and intent estimates from 317 million+ prompts across 117 regional databases.
  • Brand Performance. Share of voice, sentiment and cited sources, updated weekly, with Perplexity added.
  • AI search site audit for crawler access and AI readiness.

Where it falls short

  • 25 prompts per domain on the toolkit.
  • Each extra domain is another $99, and each user needs a license.
  • It recommends changes but doesn't make them.

User reviews

Few Semrush reviews are about the AI toolkit, and we've quoted them before, so here are two with parts we hadn't used.

“Prompt Research works like Keyword Magic for AI questions, with good volume and intent data.” (Source)

“We added a brand for a pitch we didn't win, and there was no way to remove it ourselves, so the $99 kept coming.” (Source)

Pricing

  • AI Visibility Toolkit: $99/month per domain for 25 prompts, billed annually
  • Semrush One Starter: $199/month with 50 tracked prompts
  • Semrush One Pro+: $299/month with 100 tracked prompts
  • There's no standalone trial for the toolkit. The trial comes through Semrush One.

5. Ahrefs Brand Radar: best for AI Mode research

Ahrefs Brand Radar AI mentions

Ahrefs Brand Radar is an AI visibility research tool with an index of about 102.7 million AI Mode prompts, from $199 a month for one platform, which suits SEO teams that want to see how a whole market shows up in AI Mode before they track their own prompts. Ahrefs has no trial for it, so this section is based on its product page, FAQ and reviews.

Brand Radar works differently from the other tools here. Ahrefs builds prompts from real searches in its keyword database, runs them through AI Mode and stores the answers, then re-tests them monthly on a 90-day window. For AI Mode and AI Overviews it also tracks the short search queries that trigger an AI answer.

That makes it good for research. You can look up any brand, see where it's mentioned or cited in AI Mode, and compare it with competitors, without writing a single prompt.

For your own prompts you buy custom prompts, checked daily to monthly. Ahrefs also offers a free AI Mode tracker for quick checks.

Key features

  • AI Mode index. About 102.7 million prompts, plus search queries that trigger AI Mode.
  • Six platforms. AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot, each $199 a month or $699 for all.
  • Custom prompts, checked daily to monthly, with Claude available here.
  • Ties to search demand. Every prompt maps back to keywords in Ahrefs' database.

Where it falls short

  • The index is modeled and re-tested monthly, so it isn't live tracking of your prompts.
  • Custom prompts cost extra.
  • No content writing, outreach or fixes.

User reviews

Few Ahrefs reviews cover Brand Radar, and we've quoted both before.

“Brand Radar covers several LLMs, countries and languages, but the metrics change retroactively with every index update.” (Source)

“It's easy to find trending AI Overview queries, though that data was still in beta and could be a bit inaccurate.” (Source)

Pricing

  • One platform: $199/month, AI Mode included
  • All six platforms: $699/month, with 2,500 custom prompt checks
  • Custom prompt packs: from $50/month for 2,500 checks
  • There's no free trial, but the free AI Mode tracker covers quick checks.

6. ZipTie: best for paying per AI Mode check

ZipTie is a pay-per-check AI search tracker that prices Google AI Mode like every other engine, at about a cent a check, with presets from $25.65 a month, which suits SEOs and agencies who want to pay only for the AI Mode checks they run. We haven't used ZipTie ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page and reviews.

There are no tiers. You build a plan from prompt counts, how often they run (daily, weekly or monthly) and how many engines you add, and every engine costs the same. Seats, projects and competitors are unlimited.

Two things to know for AI Mode. The 7-day free trial covers ChatGPT, AI Overviews and Copilot only, so AI Mode is only on paid plans. And which engines run depends on each project's country, so check that AI Mode is served where you track.

AI Overviews checks also capture the top 10 organic results, and you can connect Search Console to see clicks and impressions next to the AI data.

Key features

  • 7 engines at one price, including AI Mode, AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Copilot and Bing AI Overview.
  • Cadence per project. Daily, weekly and monthly prompt pools.
  • Search Console and organic results next to AI answers.
  • White-label reports and share links on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • AI Mode isn't in the free trial.
  • No Claude or Grok.
  • No refunds on paid plans, and content generation is a paid add-on.

User reviews

ZipTie has one written review we could find, and we've quoted it before.

“It helps me show clients how their sites perform in AI, but sometimes my projects don't populate, with no clear reason why.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter preset: from $25.65/month for 30 daily prompts on 3 engines
  • Professional preset: from $340.20/month
  • Enterprise preset: from $1,647/month
  • Yearly billing saves 20%. The 7-day free trial needs no card.

7. Nightwatch: best rank tracker with AI Mode

Nightwatch rank tracking with AI visibility

Nightwatch is a rank tracker that includes daily Google AI Mode tracking on every plan from €79 a month, next to ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and AI Overviews, which suits SEO teams that want AI Mode beside their Google rankings. We haven't used Nightwatch ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page.

The organic side is the bigger part. Starter tracks 500 keywords daily across Google, Bing, YouTube and Google Maps, and Nightwatch says keywords can be tracked in any location or language.

The AI side is smaller. Starter has 50 prompts and 1,500 AI answers a month, so you can't run every prompt on all six platforms every day. Nightwatch doesn't say separately which countries its AI tracking covers.

Key features

  • Six AI platforms on every plan, AI Mode included.
  • Sentiment and citation analysis for tracked prompts.
  • Rank tracking on Google, Bing, YouTube, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Google Maps.
  • Content Studio, Prompt Research, Site Audit and an SEO MCP server on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • 1,500 AI answers a month on Starter limits daily coverage.
  • No Copilot or Grok.
  • White-label reports, Looker Studio and the API start at €159.

User reviews

We couldn't find reviews of Nightwatch's AI tracking to link to. Its reviews are about the rank tracker.

Pricing

  • Starter: €79/month for 500 keywords, 50 AI prompts and 1,500 AI answers
  • Professional: €159/month for 2,500 keywords, 150 AI prompts and 4,500 AI answers
  • Agency: €399/month for 7,500 keywords, 500 AI prompts and 15,000 AI answers
  • There's a 14-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 20%.

8. Advanced Web Ranking: best for agencies reporting AI Mode

Advanced Web Ranking (AWR) is a rank tracker that treats Google AI Mode as its own search engine on every plan from $139 a month, which suits agencies that want AI Mode results in the client reports they already send. We haven't used AWR ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, AI visibility page and help center.

You track AI Mode the way you track Google. You add it as a search engine, and each keyword draws on your keyword units like any other engine or location. Weekly is the default, and daily updates use seven times the units.

Coverage has grown. AWR's help article on AI Mode said tracking started in the US only, and its homepage now says AI Mode and AI Overviews are tracked across 170+ countries.

It also stores the HTML of each AI result, so you can show a client exactly what appeared. Users and projects are unlimited on every plan.

Key features

  • AI Mode as a search engine, next to AI Overviews, ChatGPT, Perplexity and Gemini.
  • Flexible schedules. On demand, daily, weekly, biweekly or monthly.
  • AI result capture. The HTML of each AI answer.
  • Search Engines Comparison. Google desktop, mobile and AI Mode positions in one table.

Where it falls short

  • Daily AI Mode tracking uses 7x the keyword units of weekly.
  • White label needs Agency at $279 or a yearly plan, and the API starts on Agency.
  • Tracks and reports, with no content or outreach.

User reviews

AWR's reviews are about its rank tracker, and we couldn't find any that cover AI Mode tracking.

Pricing

  • Pro: $139/month for 7,000 keyword units, with unlimited users and projects
  • Agency: $279/month for 14,500 keyword units, the API and Looker Studio
  • Enterprise: $699/month for 35,500 keyword units
  • Yearly billing saves 10%, and every plan has a 30-day money-back guarantee.

9. Keyword.com: best for low-cost AI Mode checks

Keyword.com is a rank tracker with a credit-based AI Visibility plan that tracks Google AI Mode from $9.80 a month, which suits small teams and freelancers who want a few AI Mode prompts for very little. We haven't used Keyword.com ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page and reviews.

Credits are the whole model. An AI Mode run costs 0.25 credits, the same as ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and AI Overviews, while API models such as Claude and Perplexity Sonar cost 1 credit.

So the $9.80 plan's 20 credits cover about 20 AI Mode prompts checked weekly, or a handful checked daily. You set the schedule per prompt.

Users and projects are unlimited, and the MCP server lets an AI assistant read your data. Keyword.com says its tracking covers Google's regional domains down to city and ZIP code, but it doesn't spell out the locations for AI prompts.

Key features

  • AI Mode at 0.25 credits a run, next to ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and AI Overviews.
  • Daily, weekly or monthly schedules per prompt.
  • Citations, sentiment and competitor benchmarks in the AI reports.
  • MCP server and API, plus live share links for clients.

Where it falls short

  • 20 credits go quickly if you check AI Mode daily.
  • No prompt volume data.
  • Tracks and reports, with no content or outreach.

User reviews

“Much more affordable than other SEO tools, and great for tracking rankings and AI visibility.” (Source)

“The MCP integration is what sets it apart for our automation, though a few parts of the UI could be more polished.” (Source)

“It showed wrong data for months. A keyword ranking third on page one showed as outside the top 100.” (Source)

Pricing

  • AI Visibility: $9.80/month ($7.83 billed yearly) for 20 credits, with larger packs up to 2,000
  • Search Visibility: $4/month ($3 billed yearly) for Google rank tracking, with AI credits as an add-on
  • 360° Visibility: $33/month ($26 billed yearly) for 1,000 keywords and 15 credits
  • There's a 14-day free trial with no card.

10. Rankscale: best for cadence control

Rankscale AI visibility dashboard

Rankscale is a credit-based AI rank tracker that runs Google AI Mode through its interface for 0.25 credits a check, in any region, from $17 a month billed yearly, which suits hands-on SEOs who want to set how often each AI Mode prompt runs.

We used the 7-day Pro trial. Credits are the whole model. Pro's 1,200 credits cover up to 4,800 AI Mode runs a month, so we checked our money prompts daily and the long tail weekly.

You pick the region per search term, and the pricing page lists all regions on every plan. The interface felt busy at first, but you get real control over what runs and when.

If you also care about Perplexity, note that Rankscale paused its Perplexity interface monitoring on October 12, 2026.

Key features

  • AI Mode at 0.25 credits a run, through the interface.
  • Schedule per search term, from hourly to monthly.
  • All regions on every plan.
  • 21 engines and models, with credits shared across them.
  • Page audits and citation analysis, with the REST API from Pro+.

Where it falls short

  • Credits take time to learn.
  • Client reporting is mostly something you build yourself.
  • No content writing or outreach.

User reviews

“The free page audits and the trending AI topics in our industry helped us roadmap content and adjust headlines.” (Source)

“It's very advanced for the price, but it's quite a learning curve, and I wish there were a proper guide.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essentials: $17/month, billed yearly only, for 120 credits
  • Pro: $99/month for 1,200 credits, with a 7-day free trial
  • Pro+: $229/month for 3,000 credits and the REST API
  • Growth: $385/month for 5,500 credits and white-label options

How we picked

Every tool here tracks Google AI Mode itself, separate from AI Overviews and the Gemini app. We checked each vendor's pricing page and docs in November 2026 and compared them on:

  • Which plan includes AI Mode, and whether it's included, one of a few models you pick, or a paid add-on.
  • Prompts on that plan, and how many AI Mode checks that really buys.
  • How often AI Mode re-runs, from daily to monthly.
  • Countries, since AI Mode answers change by market and not every tool says where it tracks.
  • How answers are collected. The real AI Mode interface shows what people see.
  • What it does with the data, from reports to agents that do the work.

Which AI Mode tracker should you choose?

  • You want AI Mode tracking plus agents that do the work on their own: Orchly.
  • You want AI Mode next to thousands of tracked keywords: SE Ranking.
  • You want clean daily AI Mode data with unlimited seats: Peec AI.
  • Your SEO already runs on Semrush: the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit.
  • You want to research how a whole market shows up in AI Mode: Ahrefs Brand Radar.
  • You want to pay per AI Mode check: ZipTie.
  • You want AI Mode beside daily Google rankings: Nightwatch.
  • You're an agency that reports rankings and AI Mode together: Advanced Web Ranking.
  • You want a few AI Mode prompts for under $10: Keyword.com.
  • You want to set the cadence and region per prompt: Rankscale.

AI Mode answers shift from run to run and from country to country, so judge any tool on the trend over a few weeks, not one check.
