The best AI SEO tools for agencies in November 2026 are Orchly, Semrush, SE Ranking and Ahrefs, with Search Atlas, AgencyAnalytics, Surfer, Frase, Nightwatch and Screaming Frog for narrower jobs. We judged all 10 on what an SEO agency sells: the cost per client, white-label reporting, rank tracking next to AI search visibility, content at scale, audits for pitches, and seats, API and Looker Studio.
Clients are asking for AI search work. In the AgencyAnalytics 2026 benchmarks, 66% of agencies reported more demand for AEO and SEO for AI search. Prices checked in November 2026.
How we judged these SEO tools for agencies
We work with brands and agencies, and we've tested the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit and SE Ranking's SE Visible on their trials. For every tool on this list we went through the agency plans and noted:
- What one client site really costs, including keywords, prompts and seats
- White-label reports, client portals and rank tracking next to AI search
- Whether it helps with content, audits and pitches, or only reports
Ahrefs, Search Atlas, AgencyAnalytics, Surfer, Frase, Nightwatch and Screaming Frog aren't on our tested list, so we went by their pricing pages, docs and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from Trustpilot and link to the original.
Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

How we picked
We judged every tool on what an SEO agency pays for and sells to clients:
- Price per client, not the sticker price. We divided each plan by the client sites, keywords and prompts it really covers.
- White-label reporting, and whether it covers a report, a PDF or a whole portal on your domain.
- Rank tracking and AI visibility together, so one report covers Google and AI answers.
- Content production at scale, and whether the tool writes, refreshes or publishes for you.
- Audits for pitches and clients, from quick prospect checks to full technical crawls.
- Seats, API and Looker Studio, for agencies with bigger teams or their own reporting stack.
Prices and plan limits come from each vendor's pricing page and docs in November 2026.
1. Orchly: best for agencies that want agents to grow client rankings and AI visibility
Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform that tracks each client's Google rankings and AI visibility every day and runs agents that work to improve both, with white-label reports for the client. AI answers come from the real ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews interfaces rather than APIs, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons, and it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek.
Every client gets its own workspace, with its own keywords, prompts, competitors, integrations, Brand Brain, agents and reports.
Then the agents run on their own, on a schedule. They analyze the client's AI visibility, competitors, rankings and Search Console and GA4 data, decide which pages to write or refresh and do it in the client's brand voice. They keep Brand Brain current, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit the site for technical SEO and AI search issues with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.
Most tools on this list give an agency a database and a to-do list. Orchly's agents run the delivery work end to end, which is the part clients pay a retainer for.
Track Google and AI search for every client
- Daily rank tracking. Google positions for each keyword by country and device, with the pages ranking around yours.
- Search Console, GA4 and Bing. Clicks, positions, sessions, conversions and revenue next to each client's AI data.
- AI search visibility. Mentions, citations, sentiment and share of voice against the client's competitors, every day.
- A workspace per client. Invite teammates as Admins or Members and pick which workspaces each one opens. A client can get access to their own workspace only.
Send reports with your agency's name on them
- White-label reports. Add your logo and agency name once, and every shared report and PDF carries it, with "Presented by" your agency on the cover. See how white labeling works.
- One report for AI search, organic and social. AI visibility, Search Console and GA4, and Reddit and YouTube listening in one live link or PDF, with a count of how often the client opened it.
- Pitch reports. The same report shows a prospect where they're missing from AI answers next to their competitors.
Agents that do the delivery work
- Content agent. Finds lost prompts and decaying pages, then writes and refreshes articles in each client's brand voice and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Ghost or Sanity, directly or after your approval.
- Activation Agent. Finds the sites, people and Reddit threads AI engines cite, then sends backlink and citation outreach from your connected inbox.
- Site Health agent. Audits each client's pages for technical SEO and AI search issues and ranks the fixes.
- API and MCP. Pull any client's data into Claude, ChatGPT or your own reporting. MCP is on every plan and the API on Pro.
More on Orchly for agencies.
Where Orchly falls short
- Smaller SEO database. Keyword and backlink data is smaller than Semrush or Ahrefs, so keep one of those if deep competitor research is a core service.
- Websites per plan. Pro covers 3 websites, and more are paid add-ons or Enterprise. Nightwatch covers 25 sites on its Professional plan.
- White-label covers shared reports, not a full app on your own domain. SE Ranking's Agency Pack and AgencyAnalytics put a branded portal on your domain.
- Seats and add-on engines. Pro has 5 users, and Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot cost extra.
Orchly pricing
- Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts, 1 website and 1 user
- Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 3 websites and 5 users, with white-label reports and API access
- Enterprise: custom, with unlimited prompts, websites and users
- There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%.

2. Semrush: best all-in-one SEO suite for agencies
Semrush is an all-in-one SEO suite with keyword, competitor, backlink and site audit data, and its Semrush One plans add daily AI search tracking, which suits agencies that want one research database for pitches, audits and client reporting.
For most agencies it's still the default login. Keyword research, Position Tracking, Site Audit and competitor data sit in one place, and Semrush has been "an Adobe company" since April 2026.
We tested the AI Visibility Toolkit that now comes inside Semrush One. Prompt Tracking ran daily on ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini, and the weekly Brand Performance report added Perplexity. Having it next to the rankings we already pulled for clients made it easy to put both in one report.
The agency math depends on the plan. Pro+ is $299 a month for 15 websites and 100 prompts, so about $20 a site, but the 100 prompts are shared across all of them. Extra users start at $45 a month, and branded reports are a $20 add-on per report.
Key features
- Websites per plan: 5 on SEO and Starter, 15 on Pro+, 40+ on Advanced.
- Daily rank tracking: 500 keywords on Starter, 1,500 on Pro+, 5,000+ on Advanced.
- AI search tracking: 50 prompts daily on Starter, 100 on Pro+, unlimited on Advanced.
- Pro Report: $20/month for branded, white-labeled reports with link sharing and AI summaries.
- Lead Generation: $90/month for a profile on Semrush's Agency Partners platform.
- MCP access from Starter, and API access on Advanced.
Where it falls short
- It finds the gaps but doesn't do the work. Your team still writes, pitches and fixes.
- Costs stack up across seats, reports and toolkits like Local and Content, which are priced separately.
- Prompts are shared across every website on the plan, and the standalone AI Visibility Toolkit is $99 a month per domain.
User reviews
Semrush's Trustpilot score is 1.6 out of 5 from 1,421 reviews, and most recent ones are about trial charges and refunds.
“I've used it for over four years for keyword research, competitor analysis and rank tracking, and the MCP integration with AI tools makes me faster.” (Source)
“It works well. It's just expensive.” (Source)
“My seven-day trial turned into a monthly plan and I was charged about $200 with no reminder, and the refund was refused.” (Source)
Pricing
- SEO: $139/month for 5 websites and 500 daily keywords
- Starter: $199/month, adding 50 daily AI prompts
- Pro+: $299/month for 15 websites, 1,500 keywords and 100 prompts
- Advanced: custom, for 40+ websites, 5,000+ keywords, unlimited prompts and API
- Yearly billing saves up to 17%. There's a 7-day free trial.
3. SE Ranking: best white-label platform for small and mid-size agencies
SE Ranking is an SEO platform with rank tracking, audits, backlinks and daily AI prompt tracking on every plan, plus an Agency Pack that puts the whole platform on your own domain, which suits small and mid-size agencies that want white label on a budget.
Core is $129 a month for 10 projects, 2,000 daily keywords and 100 daily AI prompts. Add the Agency Pack for $69 a month on annual billing and you get the white-label platform, white-label reports and 30 client seats.
That's the cheapest fully branded setup on this list. Clients log in to your domain, see your logo and colors, and get reports from your email.
We tested SE Visible, the company's separate AI visibility tracker. It refreshes daily from real AI answers and made it easy to compare a client with its competitors on ChatGPT, Gemini, AI Mode and AI Overviews. SE Visible's own FAQ says the Agency Pack white label doesn't cover it, so agencies that want branded AI reports should use the AI tracking inside SE Ranking.
Key features
- Projects per plan: 10 on Core, 30 on Growth.
- Agency Pack: white-label platform and reporting, 30 client seats, unlimited scheduled reports with AI summaries, and an Agency Catalog listing.
- Lead Generator, an SEO checker widget for your site that collects prospects.
- AI prompt tracking on 5 AI models, with an AI Search add-on for more prompts.
- Looker Studio, GA4 and Search Console integrations, plus MCP and API credits on every plan.
Where it falls short
- Core has 1 manager seat and Growth has 3. Extra seats start at $16 a month.
- No content or outreach agents. It reports and audits well, but your team does the delivery.
- The Agency Pack is annual billing only.
User reviews
“It tracks rankings across several client sites very well, client reports are quick to make, and it costs a lot less than what we used before.” (Source)
“A central hub for audits, competitor research and GEO, without getting cluttered.” (Source)
“The ranking data was inaccurate, it threw off our reports and our client's expectations, and between that and slow support we lost a client.” (Source)
Pricing
- Core: $129/month ($103.20 yearly) for 10 projects, 1 seat, 2,000 keywords and 100 AI prompts
- Growth: $279/month ($223.20 yearly) for 30 projects, 3 seats, 5,000 keywords and 250 prompts
- Agency Pack: +$69/month, annual billing only
- AI Search add-on: +$89/month ($71.20 yearly). There's a 14-day free trial with no card.
4. Ahrefs: best for backlink and competitor research
Ahrefs is an SEO suite known for its backlink index and competitor research, with daily custom AI prompts on every plan and Brand Radar sold on top, which suits agencies selling link building and competitive research.
Link builders keep it whatever else they use. Site Explorer shows a client's backlinks, lost links and the pages that rank, and the same data finds outreach targets.
Brand Radar is the part we'd use for pitches. It looks up any brand's AI visibility across a database of 505 million+ prompts with no setup, so you can show a prospect how often AI answers mention them next to a competitor. We haven't tested Ahrefs ourselves; this is from its pricing page and reviews.
Seats are the cost to watch. Every plan includes one user, and extra users cost $40 to $80 a month each, with a cap of 2, 5 or 10 depending on the plan.
Key features
- Projects: 5, 20 or 50 unverified projects, and unlimited projects for sites you verify.
- Rank Tracker: 750, 2,000 or 5,000 keywords, updated weekly.
- Custom AI prompts: 5, 10 or 20 tracked daily, with packs from $50/month for more.
- Brand Radar from $199/month for one AI platform.
- API and MCP on every plan, and Looker Studio from Advanced.
Where it falls short
- Rank Tracker updates weekly, while most agency trackers here run daily.
- White-label reports aren't listed on the pricing page.
- No trials or discounts. Ahrefs says it never runs them.
User reviews
“Site Explorer is where I spend most of my time, and I'd struggle to replace it. The price and credit limits get in the way during heavy research.” (Source)
“Printing a simple report is so hard that I ended up using Looker Studio and another service.” (Source)
“Two of the five paid accounts in our workspace were restricted for working fast, with no published limits.” (Source)
Pricing
- Lite: $129/month for 5 projects, 750 keywords and 5 daily AI prompts
- Standard: $249/month for 20 projects, 2,000 keywords and 10 prompts
- Advanced: $449/month for 50 projects, 5,000 keywords, 20 prompts and Looker Studio
- Enterprise: $1,499/month, annual. Brand Radar from $199/month, Report Builder add-on $99/month. Yearly saves up to 17%.
5. Search Atlas: best for automated on-site fixes
Search Atlas is an SEO platform built around OTTO, an agent that pushes on-page fixes like titles, meta descriptions and alt text to client sites, with AI visibility from Growth and white-label dashboards from Pro, which suits agencies that want on-site work automated.
That makes it one of the few tools here that changes client sites rather than handing you a list. OTTO works through a pixel on the site, and every plan also writes content and publishes to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and other CMSs.
We went by its pricing page and reviews. Every plan runs on one pool of Universal Credits for articles, edits, rank checks and AI visibility queries, so heavy content months eat into tracking.
For agencies, Pro is the starting point. It's $399 a month for 4 projects and 5 seats, with white-label dashboards and 6 AI platforms. Client portals need the Agency plan, from $999.
Key features
- OTTO SEO deploys technical and on-page fixes across every site you manage.
- AI visibility: ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode on Growth; Copilot, Perplexity and Claude added on Pro.
- White-label dashboards and reporting from Pro, client portals on Agency.
- Content Genius for writing, plus link building and press release tools.
- Universal Credits shared across every tool, with 120,000 on Growth and 400,000 on Pro.
Where it falls short
- OTTO edits live pages through a pixel, and some client dev teams won't allow it.
- 4 projects on Pro is tight for an agency, so many will need Agency pricing.
- Several Trustpilot reviews complain about cancelling and billing.
User reviews
“The tools let one person do the work of several experienced SEOs, and support is always there.” (Source)
“There was a learning curve at first, but our results keep improving.” (Source)
“I run an agency and tried it for a learning event, but I couldn't cancel during the seven-day trial, and support took two days to reply.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $99/month for 1 project and 1 seat, no AI visibility
- Growth: $199/month for 2 projects, 3 seats and 3 AI platforms
- Pro: $399/month for 4 projects, 5 seats, 6 AI platforms and white label
- Agency: from $999/month for 10 projects, 10 seats and client portals. There's a 7-day trial.
6. AgencyAnalytics: best for white-label client reporting
AgencyAnalytics is a client reporting platform priced per client, with white-label reports, a client portal on your own domain and an AI Tracker add-on, which suits agencies that need branded reporting across SEO, PPC and social.
It isn't an SEO research tool. It's the reporting layer many agencies put on top of everything else, pulling data from 85+ integrations, including Search Console, GA4, Google Ads, Semrush and Ahrefs.
We haven't used it ourselves; this is from its pricing page, help center and reviews. Every client gets the full feature set, with unlimited staff and client users, a custom domain, custom email and MCP access for ChatGPT and Claude.
The AI Tracker add-on covers ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude, Perplexity and Gemini. It checks weekly, and one credit is one prompt on one engine in one location for one week, so 250 credits a month covers about 10 prompts on all six engines for one location.
Key features
- Per-client pricing at $20 a client a month on annual billing, with volume pricing from 25 clients.
- Full white label: logo, colors, custom domain, custom email and a branded client portal.
- Unlimited staff and client users on every client.
- AI Tracker add-on for 6 AI engines, next to traffic and revenue data in the same report.
- API and MCP access, plus AgencyAI for questions about client data.
Where it falls short
- No keyword research, content or outreach. It reports on the work, it doesn't do it.
- AI Tracker runs weekly, and unused credits are lost at the end of the month.
- Rank tracking and AI tracking are paid add-ons on top of the per-client fee.
User reviews
“It's been a game changer for presenting analytics to clients in our monthly meetings.” (Source)
“Handy, user-friendly reporting for agencies and their clients, with a full set of integrations.” (Source)
“The product looks good, but the site auditor flags errors that don't exist, and tickets wait weeks for an answer.” (Source)
Pricing
- Per client: $20/month, billed annually
- AI Tracker: $20.83/month per 250 credits, billed annually
- Rank Tracker: $41.67/month per 500 keywords, billed annually
- There's a 14-day free trial with no card and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
7. Surfer: best for content optimization at scale
Surfer is a content optimization tool with a content editor, AI writing and daily AI search tracking, organized in brand workspaces, which suits agencies with writing teams producing content for several clients.
A lot of agency writers already know the editor. It scores drafts against the pages that rank, and it works in Google Docs and WordPress, so freelancers don't need to learn a new tool. Surfer now runs at surfer.ai as part of Positive Group.
We haven't tested Surfer; this is from its pricing page and reviews. For agencies, Pro is the plan that fits, with 5 brand workspaces and 5 seats for $182 a month.
AI tracking on Pro covers 50 prompts a day on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini. Across five clients that's 10 prompts each.
Key features
- Brand workspaces: 1 on Standard, 5 on Pro, unlimited on Peace of Mind.
- Content editor with Content Score, AI writing, internal linking and plagiarism checks.
- AI tracking on 5 engines, with mention gap and brand sentiment.
- Content audit and ranking drop alerts for client pages.
- MCP on every plan, and integrations with WordPress, Google Docs, Contentful and Zapier.
Where it falls short
- No rank tracker, backlink data or technical crawl, so you'll still need an SEO suite.
- Standard tracks only 25 ChatGPT prompts, weekly.
- White label needs an Enterprise plan.
User reviews
Surfer's critical Trustpilot reviews have all been quoted in our other posts, so the negative one here is a repeat.
“Surfer is central to our writing now, and our articles rank higher when we use it.” (Source)
“I signed up at about $80 a month, was later charged about $119, and the card was still charged after I cancelled.” (Source)
Pricing
- Standard: $99/month for 1 brand workspace, 3 seats and 25 weekly ChatGPT prompts
- Pro: $182/month for 5 brand workspaces, 5 seats and 50 daily prompts on 5 engines
- Peace of Mind: $299/month for unlimited workspaces, 10 seats and 100 daily prompts
- Prices are billed yearly, which saves up to 17%.
8. Frase: best for publishing content at volume
Frase is a content platform that researches, writes, publishes and refreshes articles, with AI visibility tracking built in, which suits agencies producing content for many client sites.
Its Scale plan is the one built for agencies. It covers up to 10 domains, 5 seats and 100 articles a month, with exportable client-ready reports.
We haven't tested the rebuilt Frase; this is from its pricing page and reviews. Its agent can draft and publish on its own when you let it, and Content Guard watches pages for Google decay and proposes the refresh.
AI tracking is light for an agency. Scale tracks 75 prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI, Perplexity, Claude and Gemini, shared across all your client domains.
Key features
- Domains per plan: 1 on Starter, 5 on Professional, 10 on Scale.
- Articles each month: 10, 40 or 100, published to WordPress, Webflow, Sanity, Wix or FraseCMS.
- Content Guard watches 10, 75 or 300 pages for ranking decay.
- Client-ready reports you can export on Scale.
- MCP server, CLI and API on every plan.
Where it falls short
- No rank tracking or backlink data beyond its Backlinks gap finder.
- White-label reports and a branded client portal are Enterprise only.
- 75 tracked prompts on Scale, shared across up to 10 client domains.
User reviews
Frase's 2026 Trustpilot reviews have all been quoted in our other posts, so these two are repeats.
“The AI Visibility Tracker shows how our content does on AI Overviews, Claude and Gemini, and Content Guard catches pages that start slipping.” (Source)
“It feels like it's been under construction forever, and the AI writer keeps looping the same text.” (Source)
Pricing
- Starter: $39/month yearly ($49 monthly) for 1 site, 10 articles and 20 prompts
- Professional: $103/month yearly ($129 monthly) for 5 sites, 3 seats, 40 articles and 50 prompts
- Scale: $239/month yearly ($299 monthly) for 10 domains, 5 seats, 100 articles and 75 prompts
- Extra seats are $29/month. There's a 7-day free trial with no card.
9. Nightwatch: best rank tracker for agencies
Nightwatch is a rank tracker that also tracks AI prompts on six AI platforms, with white-label reports and Looker Studio from its Professional plan, which suits agencies whose clients care most about rankings.
It tracks Google, YouTube, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo and Google Maps daily, in any location or language. Every plan also tracks ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity, AI Mode and AI Overviews.
We haven't used Nightwatch; this is from its pricing page. Professional is the agency plan, at €159 a month on yearly billing for 25 websites, 2,500 keywords and 150 AI prompts.
That works out to about €6 a website, the lowest per-site price here for daily rank tracking plus AI prompts.
Key features
- Websites per plan: 5 on Starter, 25 on Professional, 100 on Agency.
- Daily rank tracking: 500, 2,500 or 7,500 keywords.
- AI prompts: 50, 150 or 500, on six AI platforms every plan.
- White-label reports, Looker Studio, API and unlimited seats from Professional.
- Site audit, Content Studio, keyword research and an SEO MCP server on every plan.
Where it falls short
- AI answers are capped at 1,500 a month on Starter, while 50 prompts on six platforms every day would need about 9,000.
- No content agents, outreach or on-site fixes.
- Priced in euros, so budget for currency swings if you bill clients in dollars.
User reviews
We couldn't find Nightwatch reviews with links we could check, so there are no quotes here.
Pricing
- Starter: €79/month billed yearly for 5 websites, 500 keywords and 50 AI prompts
- Professional: €159/month billed yearly for 25 websites, 2,500 keywords, 150 prompts and white label
- Agency: €399/month billed yearly for 100 websites, 7,500 keywords and 500 prompts
- There's a 14-day free trial with no card. A Black Friday banner offered 30% off when we checked.
10. Screaming Frog: best for technical audits
Screaming Frog SEO Spider is a desktop crawler for technical audits that can run your own AI prompts on every page it crawls, which suits agencies doing technical SEO and pitch audits on large client sites.
It's the crawler most technical SEOs open first. It finds broken links, redirects, duplicate content, hreflang problems and structured data errors on sites of any size.
We haven't tested its AI features; this is from its pricing page and user guide. You connect OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic or a local Ollama model with your own API key, then run prompts across a crawl, for example to write alt text or classify pages.
Since version 24.0 in May 2026 it also has an MCP server, so you can run crawls and work with the data inside Claude and other AI assistants. That's a paid-licence feature.
Key features
- Free version crawls up to 500 URLs, enough for a quick pitch audit.
- AI prompts in crawls with OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic or Ollama.
- MCP server for running crawls from AI assistants.
- Search Console, GA and PageSpeed Insights data in the crawl, plus a Looker Studio crawl report.
- Scheduling and crawl comparison for monthly client audits.
Where it falls short
- A desktop tool, not a platform. No client workspaces, dashboards or rank tracking.
- Juniors need training to turn a crawl into a client-ready report.
- AI prompts run on your own API keys, so that cost is extra.
User reviews
“A paid user since 2015, and still one of the best technical SEO tools, with email support that answers within a day.” (Source)
“It finds broken links, redirects and on-page issues fast and exports easily, though the interface is technical for beginners.” (Source)
“The data is top-tier, but the free version's 500-URL limit is a trap for any real website.” (Source)
Pricing
- Free: up to 500 URLs per crawl
- Paid licence: $279/year per user (£199)
- 5 to 9 licences: $265 each per year, with lower rates from 10 licences
