10 Best Petra Labs Alternatives in 2026 (Pricing and Attribution)

Petra Labs alternatives make sense when you want AI search results without a $15,000-a-month service contract. Petra Labs is an answer engine optimization (AEO) partner for enterprise brands. It pairs its own measurement platform with an embedded team that does the content, PR and social work, and builds custom attribution models to tie AI search to pipeline and revenue.

Its solutions page says engagements start at $15,000 a month and typical programs run $250,000 to $600,000+ a year, scoped as annual partnerships with no trial. These 10 Petra Labs alternatives range from service-style partners to software your own team runs, with notes on how each one handles attribution. Prices checked in November 2026.

Editor's note

How we compared these Petra Labs alternatives

Petra Labs sells a service with no trial, so we haven't used it. We describe it from its website, pricing FAQ, case studies and announcements. For the alternatives, we ran the same buyer prompts through Profound, Scrunch and Peec AI on their trials and looked at:

  • What the tool measures, and how close it gets to revenue attribution
  • Who does the work: software, agents or people
  • Engines on the plan you can buy, and the real monthly cost

AirOps, Conductor, Brandlight, Evertune, Goodie and Limy come from their pricing pages, docs and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2, OMR Reviews and Trustpilot and link to the original.

Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

1. Orchly: best Petra Labs alternative to run AEO in house for a fraction of the cost

Orchly AI visibility overview showing AI Visibility Score, Share of Voice, sentiment, average position and a competitor leaderboard
AI visibility, share of voice and competitors in one view

Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons (it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek), and its agents run on their own, on a schedule, across the whole loop.

They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors, your SEO and your Search Console and GA4 data. They find what to write and which pages to refresh and do it in your brand voice, keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues, with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.

Petra Labs sells a team of people plus its own software, from $15,000 a month on an annual contract. Orchly gives your own marketers agents that run the same loop end to end, from $49 a month with no contract.

Tracking you can check yourself

  • Daily tracking. Mentions, position and share of voice in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews every day. Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot are paid add-ons.
  • Prompts sorted the way you plan. Each prompt is tagged branded or non-branded and by intent, and prompt research suggests new ones for your category.
  • Citations and gaps. The Citations tab lists every cited page, and Mention Gap shows the cited pages that name competitors but not you.
Orchly Mention Gap report listing top cited sources where competitors are mentioned but the brand is not
Cited pages that mention competitors but not you
  • Fact check. AI claims about your pricing, products and policies are compared with your Brand Brain and marked Supported or Contradicted. Useful when models mix up your product names or sub brands.

Execution without an agency retainer

A big part of what Petra sells is people who publish content, pitch press and work YouTube. Orchly's agents cover much of that loop in software.

  • Content Agent. Turns lost prompts and decaying Search Console pages into article and refresh tasks, drafts them in your brand voice, and publishes to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or Ghost, directly or after your approval.

Content tasks from lost prompts and decaying pages
  • Activation Agent. Finds the sites, Reddit threads and YouTube videos AI cites, drafts outreach, and sends it from your Gmail, Zoho or SMTP inbox.
  • Site Health Agent. Audits pages for technical SEO and AI search issues, ranks them by priority and suggests the fix.

Traffic and revenue next to visibility

Petra's pitch is attribution. Orchly doesn't build custom models, but it puts the numbers you need for a first business case in one place.

  • Search Console and GA4. Clicks, conversions and revenue sit beside AI visibility, with daily keyword rank tracking by country and device. See the Search Console integration.

  • AI traffic analytics. On Pro, AI traffic analytics separates AI crawler visits from human referral visits by platform, page and country, once you connect your hosting or CDN.
Orchly AI traffic analytics comparing AI bot crawls with human referral visits from AI platforms
AI crawlers and human visits from AI, side by side

Where Orchly falls short

  • No embedded team. Orchly doesn't send strategists, PR people or influencer managers. The agents draft and send, but someone on your side still owns the strategy and decides what needs approval.
  • No custom attribution models. There's no CRM connector for HubSpot or Salesforce and no marketing mix modeling. Revenue comes from GA4, which won't satisfy a CFO who wants pipeline level proof.

Orchly pricing

  • Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts, 20 articles, 1 site and 1 user
  • Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with AI traffic analytics, custom agents and white-label reports
  • Enterprise: custom, with a customer success manager
  • There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%.

2. Profound: best for enterprise teams that want software, not a service

Profound dashboard

Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform used by more than 1,000 brands, a third of the Fortune 100 among them, with AI Marketer agents on top of nine-engine tracking. It suits large brands that want their own team to run AEO on software instead of handing it to a service like Petra Labs.

We tested it on the 7-day trial. Profound picked 50 prompts for our industry that we couldn't edit, and only ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews ran, so we learned more about the product than about our own market.

The agents are what stand in for part of Petra's team. Since October 2026 you can set one up from a plain-language request, it works from the brand facts in Context Manager, and its work draws on credit wallets.

On attribution, Profound connects GA4 and Search Console and shows AI crawler visits in Agent Analytics. It doesn't build custom attribution models. Buying it also looks more like buying Petra than it used to, because Profound removed its $99 and $399 self-serve brand plans in September 2026, the month it raised a $180M Series D.

Key features

  • Nine engines on Enterprise. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews and Exa.
  • AI Marketer. Agents that draft and publish content, set up from a plain-language request.
  • Prompt Volumes. Demand estimates from more than 1.5 billion prompts in 35 countries, updated weekly.
  • Agent Analytics. AI crawler visits to your site, with Search Console data in Pages.
  • GA4 and Search Console integrations next to visibility data.

Where it falls short

  • No self-serve plan for brands, so pricing goes through sales.
  • The trial runs 50 preset prompts on three engines.
  • No outreach, PR or embedded team, and no Grok since Exa replaced it in September 2026.

User reviews

“Good for insights and some recommendations.” (Source)

“Our buyers now research in LLMs, and Profound gives us new ways to look at the customer journey and the funnel.” (Source)

“After six months we track its 0 to 100 visibility score in our monthly marketing report, the way we used to track Google visibility. But the data only covers English and selected German prompts, and the interface is English only.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Brands: custom Enterprise pricing through sales
  • Agencies: a separate self-serve Agency Growth plan
  • Trial: 7 days, with 50 preset prompts on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews

3. AirOps: best for content teams building their own AEO engine

AirOps dashboard

AirOps is a content engineering platform where teams build workflows that research, write and refresh pages, with an agent called Quill that proposes the work. It suits content teams that want to do the content part of Petra's service themselves, at volume.

We haven't used AirOps ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, docs, launch posts and G2 reviews.

Quill arrived in May 2026. It looks for stale pages, competitor gaps and prompts you should be cited for, then drops proposed refreshes and drafts into an Inbox for review. Offsite, launched in February, covers the third-party placements AI engines cite, either self-serve or as a managed service.

You build the workflows, which takes time before they pay off, and usage is billed in tasks. The free Solo plan only looks at ChatGPT, Pro has no listed price, and there's no attribution model of any kind.

Key features

  • Quill. Proposes refreshes and new drafts from stale pages, gaps and prompts, for review in one Inbox.
  • Workflows and playbooks. Multi-step content pipelines with branches, conditions and your own data.
  • Offsite. Ranks the publishers AI engines cite and supports placements, self-serve or managed.
  • CMS publishing to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, Sanity, Ghost and Strapi.
  • MCP and Claude integration for brand kits and visibility data.

Where it falls short

  • Solo tracks ChatGPT only, and Pro's 7+ engines need a sales quote.
  • Workflows take real setup time.
  • No revenue attribution, technical site audit or ranked site fixes.

User reviews

“Quill lets a non-technical person like me build AI agents just by talking to it, and content updates now ship in hours instead of days.” (Source)

“It's a little hard to navigate with so many features.” (Source)

“The AI is excellent once MCP feeds it context. But we've hit lag and a few bugs in normal use, enough to break our flow.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Solo: free, with ChatGPT insights, 35,000 tasks a month and 1 user
  • Pro: price on request, with 7+ answer engines, 100,000 tasks and unlimited seats
  • Enterprise: custom limits and agent builds
  • Extra tasks on Solo cost $0.025 each.

4. Conductor: best for enterprise SEO teams adding AEO

Conductor dashboard

Conductor is an enterprise SEO and AEO platform that tracks brand mentions, citations, share of voice and sentiment across nine AI engine options next to its keyword, content and site monitoring tools. It suits enterprise SEO teams that want AEO inside software they run themselves, with a free trial before any contract.

We haven't used Conductor ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, documentation and announcements.

Its AI Search Performance reports cover ChatGPT (Auto and Search), Claude Sonnet, Gemini, Google AI Mode, AI Overviews, Grok, Microsoft Copilot and Perplexity in more than 160 countries. You can split prompts into branded and unbranded and filter by persona, and Conductor says it connects to the engines through official APIs.

Plans are Essentials, Growth and Enterprise, all priced through sales. Essentials includes no AI search credits, so AEO tracking starts on Growth with 2,500 credits a year. Analytics integrations with Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics put traffic, conversions and revenue next to visibility, which covers the reporting side of Petra's attribution but not custom models.

On September 24, 2026, Chief Product Officer Wei Zheng became CEO, succeeding co-founder Seth Besmertnik, and Conductor said AEO would be its focus, with new products planned for its C3 event on October 28.

Key features

  • AI Search Performance. Mentions, citations, share of voice and sentiment by engine, topic, persona and country.
  • Writing Assistant. 60, 180 or 600 AI drafts a year, with content scores and internal link suggestions.
  • Website Monitoring. 24/7 monitoring with alerts, from 100,000 pages on Essentials.
  • AgentStack. Conductor data inside ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot through MCP and an API.
  • Google Analytics and Adobe Analytics integrations for traffic and conversions.

Where it falls short

  • No published prices on any plan.
  • AI search tracking needs Growth or Enterprise.
  • Built for enterprise teams, with no PR, outreach or embedded execution.

User reviews

Conductor holds 4.7 on Capterra from 118 reviews, but the reviews we found there and on TrustRadius cover its SEO suite and mostly predate Conductor AI, so we don't quote them here.

Pricing

  • Essentials: price on request, with 500 tracked keywords, 60 drafts a year and no AI search credits
  • Growth: price on request, with 2,500 AI search credits a year and 5,000 tracked keywords
  • Enterprise: custom, with 2,500+ AI search credits and 10+ tracked websites
  • There's a free 3-week trial with no card needed.

5. Scrunch: best for technical teams and AI agent traffic

Scrunch dashboard

Scrunch is an AI visibility platform, owned by Sitecore since June 2026, that pairs prompt tracking with site audits, AI crawler data and GA4 AI referrals from $250 a month. It suits technical teams that want to measure AI search themselves before they pay for a service.

We used it on the 7-day trial. Setup is guided. Scrunch drafted a brand description from our site, we confirmed it, added competitors, a persona and topics, and started from five suggested prompts.

Agent Traffic was the part we kept opening. Once your CDN or host is connected, it shows which pages AI bots read and why. GA4 AI referrals, improved in October 2026, add the human visits that follow, and that's as close as Scrunch gets to Petra's attribution.

Core doesn't write content or run outreach, so the work Petra's team does stays with you. AXP, which serves AI-optimized versions of your pages to bots, is Enterprise only, along with Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Grok and Meta AI.

Key features

  • Core engines. ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Copilot, with 5,000 responses a month.
  • Agent Traffic. AI crawler visits by page, once your CDN or host is connected.
  • GA4 AI referrals, enhanced in October 2026, plus an MCP server.
  • Site audits. 5 a month on Core.
  • AXP. AI-optimized page versions for bots, on Enterprise.

Where it falls short

  • AXP and five of the nine engines are Enterprise only.
  • No content writing, publishing or outreach.
  • New prompts drop to a 72-hour cycle after the first two weeks.

User reviews

“Competitor tracking shows position and sentiment, not just whether they appear.” (Source)

“Its data shapes the recommendations we make to clients, and then we can see the impact of those recommendations in Scrunch too.” (Source)

“I'd like more transparency about the data, so we can pass it on to our clients.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Core: $250/month for 125 prompts, 4 engines, 5 user licenses and 5 site audits
  • Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, AXP, API and SSO
  • Core has a 7-day free trial.

6. Brandlight: best for Fortune 500 brand portfolios

Brandlight dashboard

Brandlight is an enterprise AI visibility platform for Fortune 500 brands and multi-brand portfolios, sold as software plus a dedicated team. It's the closest match to Petra Labs on buyer profile and service model, with a pilot instead of a full year up front. Brandlight starts with a paid pilot, so we haven't used it, and this section is based on its website, comparison pages, announcements and G2 reviews.

Every account gets an AI strategist, an analyst and a customer success lead. Brandlight tracks 12 engines in 10 markets, weekly and in each market's own language, and builds and maintains the question set for you instead of capping prompts.

Attribution is where it differs from Petra. When we checked in September, attribution was listed as coming soon. There's now an Impact Tracker that shows what each URL or campaign added to your visibility score, and Brandlight says it doesn't offer closed-loop revenue attribution.

Customers named on its site include Samsung, TD Bank, Aetna, Kimberly-Clark and Coty, and it raised a $30 million Series A led by Pelion in February 2026.

Key features

  • 12 engines in 10 markets. ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity, Claude, Copilot, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Mistral and Naver.
  • A dedicated team. Strategist, analyst and customer success lead per account.
  • Impact Tracker. What each URL or campaign added to your visibility score, with a monthly readout.
  • AI Ads. Who advertises on answers about your brand, with recommendations or managed campaigns.
  • AI commerce. Product visibility by retailer and engine.

Where it falls short

  • No public pricing, free trial or self-serve plan.
  • No closed-loop revenue attribution, by its own account.
  • Built for enterprises only.

User reviews

“It shows our demand generation team where we're surfaced in answer engines and where our content gaps are.” (Source)

“The real-time mention alerts are useful, but the volume of notifications can be hard to manage. Better filtering would help.” (Source)

“I'd like more ways to customize the reports and compare older results.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Pilot: a paid three-month pilot, price on request
  • Platform: an annual contract scoped by markets, dashboards and lines of business
  • No free trial or self-serve plan.

7. Evertune: best for brands with paid media budgets

Evertune dashboard

Evertune is an AI visibility and advertising platform that pairs heavy prompt sampling with agents that run ChatGPT ads, now with a $60 self-serve plan. It suits brands that want organic and paid AI visibility in one place at a published price. We haven't used it ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, help center and launch posts.

Starter launched on October 20, 2026. It costs $60 a month, billed yearly, for 5,000 prompt credits on up to five models and an Ads Manager agent that builds and optimizes ChatGPT campaigns around the topics where AI doesn't recommend you. Ads cost 10% of your media spend on top of what you pay OpenAI.

The full product is Pro at $800 a month, billed yearly, with 100,000 prompt credits, 11 models including Claude and Perplexity, up to 100 samples per prompt, a Content Agent and prompt volumes. There's no strategist team and no revenue attribution model, and site audits and bot analytics are Enterprise only.

Key features

  • Ads Manager agent. Targeting, copy and optimization for ChatGPT ad campaigns, on every plan.
  • Heavy sampling. Up to 100 runs per prompt per model on Pro.
  • Content Agent. 25 articles a month on Pro, unlimited on Enterprise.
  • EverPanel prompts. A Prompt Agent suggests prompts from your brand and real user prompts.
  • MCP to Claude or ChatGPT from Pro.

Where it falls short

  • Starter has no Claude or Perplexity.
  • Ad fees of 10% of media on Starter and 8% on Pro come on top of the plan.
  • Site audits, bot analytics and the Fact Checker are Enterprise only.

User reviews

Evertune has no reviews on G2, Capterra or Trustpilot yet, so we have no user quotes to share.

Pricing

  • Starter: $60/month billed yearly for 5,000 prompt credits on up to 5 models, plus 10% of ad spend
  • Pro: $800/month billed yearly for 100,000 prompt credits, 11 models and 25 articles a month, plus 8% of ad spend
  • Enterprise: custom, with site audits, bot analytics and SSO
  • The ads agent is free for the first 7 days on Starter.

8. Goodie: best for a strategist on a mid market budget

Goodie dashboard

Goodie is an AEO platform for e-commerce and retail brands that adds a strategist call, optimization actions and AI shopping tracking to its tracking, from $295 a month. It suits mid-market brands that want some human guidance and a path to revenue attribution without a six-figure service contract. We haven't used Goodie ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing and product pages and G2 reviews.

Core dropped from $399 to $295 a month in October 2026. It covers 110 prompts on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, AI Mode and Copilot, unlimited seats, 50 optimization actions a month and a 30-minute strategist call, and you can start it yourself on a 7-day trial.

The retail and revenue parts sit higher up. SKU-level tracking on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Amazon's Alexa and Walmart's Sparky starts on Pro at $999, and full revenue attribution, Brand Command and the API are Enterprise features.

Key features

  • Analytics and Attribution. AI traffic from GA4 traced toward pipeline and revenue, with full revenue attribution on Enterprise.
  • Agents. An AEO content writer, outreach and technical agents, and llms.txt and sitemap repair.
  • Agentic commerce. SKU-level tracking on ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Alexa and Sparky, from Pro.
  • Agent analytics. How AI bots and crawlers use your site.
  • MCP server on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • Core's strategist time is a 30-minute call, not an embedded team.
  • Gemini and SKU tracking start at $999 a month.
  • Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, full revenue attribution and the API are Enterprise only.

User reviews

“It traces citations back to specific sources and gives us a prioritised list of what to do. But it finds work faster than a small team can do it, so we've had to be selective.” (Source)

“Even as a smaller company, I now show up next to the bigger ones.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Core: $295/month for 110 prompts on 5 models
  • Pro: $999/month for 250 prompts on 8 models, by demo
  • Enterprise: custom, up to 14 models
  • Core has a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing gives 2 months free.

9. Limy: best for pixel based revenue attribution

Limy dashboard

Limy is an AI search analytics platform that ties prompts and AI agent traffic to conversions with a tracking pixel, which makes it the most direct software answer to Petra's attribution pitch. It suits teams whose main question is whether AI search brings in revenue. We haven't used Limy ourselves, so this section is based on its website, docs and archived pricing.

Attribution needs the Limy pixel, added with JavaScript or Google Tag Manager, and deeper bot data comes from a CDN integration such as Cloudflare, Akamai, Fastly, CloudFront, Vercel or Netlify. Limy says Owl Labs grew checkout events from AI search by 143% in 30 days.

Pricing has gone the way of Petra's. Limy listed Starter at $149, Growth at $449 and Scale at $749 a month, with a 14-day trial, in archived copies through August 2026. By mid-October limy.ai/pricing redirected to the homepage, where every call to action is a demo booking.

Key features

  • Prompt-to-revenue attribution. Conversions tied to AI prompts and AI agent visits through the Limy pixel.
  • Bot and agent traffic. AI crawler activity at the CDN level, by page and region.
  • Competitor analysis. A prompt-by-prompt comparison with recommended next steps.
  • MCP server and REST API for prompts, competitors, traffic and raw responses.

Where it falls short

  • No public pricing since October 2026.
  • Attribution depends on installing the pixel.
  • The last published Starter plan had 1 seat, 50 prompts and 3 fixed engines.

User reviews

Limy's G2 listing has no reviews yet, and we didn't find any on Trustpilot or Capterra, so we have no user quotes to share.

Pricing

  • Today: custom, quoted after a demo
  • Last published (August 2026): Starter $149/month, Growth $449/month, Scale $749/month
  • The archived plans came with a 14-day free trial.

10. Peec AI: best for AI referral revenue on a small budget

Peec AI dashboard

Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform with daily tracking, unlimited seats and AI Referrals, which pulls AI assistant sessions, conversions and revenue from GA4, from €85 a month. It suits teams that want a first revenue signal from AI search on a small budget.

We signed up and had data within minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors filled in for each engine.

AI Referrals and Brand Perception arrived in September 2026. Because it's GA4 data, it shows the visits AI assistants send you. The untagged influence that shows up as direct or organic traffic, which Petra says its custom models capture, isn't in it.

It doesn't write, publish or run outreach. Actions, added in February, rank what to work on, and your team does the work.

Key features

  • Model choice. Any 3 of ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Naver AI, with Perplexity and other extra models from €25 a month.
  • AI Referrals. GA4 sessions, conversions and revenue from AI assistants, since September 2026.
  • Actions. Ranked owned and earned fixes from your data.
  • Source analytics. Cited domains and URLs labelled owned, editorial, reference or UGC.
  • Unlimited seats on every plan, plus an MCP server.

Where it falls short

  • No content writing, publishing or outreach.
  • 3 models per plan unless you pay for more.
  • Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need Enterprise.

User reviews

“The dashboards are fast, the visibility metrics are clear, and the alerts help us react quickly to shifts.” (Source)

“Chat with your data and the MCP connection make reporting easy, but some KPIs like the Gap Score aren't intuitive.” (Source)

“The suggested prompts are often way off.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter: €85/month (about $95) for 50 prompts and 3 models
  • Pro: €205/month for 150 prompts
  • Advanced: €425/month for 350 prompts
  • Unlimited seats, a free trial, and 15% off with yearly billing.

How Petra Labs pricing and attribution work

We haven't used Petra Labs, and it has no trial. This is what its own pages say, checked in November 2026.

Pricing. Petra's solutions page says engagements start at $15,000 a month and typical engagements run $250,000 to $600,000+ a year. Scope depends on how many brands or product lines you track, how competitive the queries are and how complex the attribution setup is. In June 2026 the same page only said engagements run "in the low-to-mid five figures per month", so the $15,000 floor is newer wording for a similar range.

What the fee covers. Petra builds a prompt map for your buyers from opt-in panel data and Google and SEO data, then tracks visibility, rank, sentiment, share of voice and citations. It also captures "chain-of-thought" data, meaning the fan-out searches and interim sources a model looks at before it answers. Its team handles setup, strategy, copywriting, technical audits, programmatic AEO, earned media and social.

Attribution. Petra says it builds custom marketing mix models and multi-touch attribution that connect AI search activity to pipeline and closed revenue, including AI-referred traffic that shows up as direct, organic or dark social.

What we could check:

  • The attribution offer is real and central to how Petra sells. It's described on its homepage, solutions page and FAQ, and its own October 2026 listicle calls it "the only platform" doing revenue attribution at scale.
  • Its published results are its own case studies. Novig reports 27x AI-referred traffic and visibility going from 0% to 21% across 1,500+ prompts in six months. Josh Linkner reports AI search bringing in 90% of inbound leads and a ~9% lift in top-line revenue, measured partly by asking each lead how they found him.
  • None of the case studies shows a marketing mix model's output, and there are no independent reviews to compare against, so we can't judge how well the models work.

What changed with Petra Labs in 2026

Petra was founded in New York in 2025, and 2026 was its first big year in public.

  • Case studies. Novig (April), Zapier (July) and Josh Linkner (August), plus Fractional Jobs, all published by Petra. Zapier's covers strategy through attribution, and Fractional Jobs says 65% of its inbound leads now come from AI search.
  • Research reports. Studies on how the access surface shapes citations (April), sampling noise in LLM outputs (June), how far prompt wording moves citations (August) and how ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and AI Overviews search differently (September).
  • Seed round (July). Petra raised a $5.2M seed round led by Work-Bench, with Afore Capital and Pathlight, to grow its measurement platform and embedded team.
  • Published pricing. The solutions page now names a $15,000 monthly floor and $250,000 to $600,000+ typical annual programs, where in June it only said low-to-mid five figures a month.

What hasn't changed: annual partnerships, no trial or self-serve plan, no published engine list, and no reviews on G2.

When to stay with Petra Labs

We haven't used Petra Labs ourselves. This is based on its website, case studies and announcements.

Stay with Petra Labs if:

  • You want one accountable partner and would rather hire an outcome than build a team.
  • You need attribution a CFO will accept, and a custom marketing mix model is worth the budget to you.
  • Your AEO work spans PR, YouTube, Reddit and content, and you want people running all of it.

Before you sign or renew, ask to see what the attribution model reports for a brand like yours and how it separates AI search from your other channels.

User reviews

Petra Labs has no reviews on G2, and we found none on Trustpilot, Capterra or Product Hunt, so we have no user quotes to share.

Which Petra Labs alternative should you choose?

  • You want agents that run AEO on their own, from analysis to content, outreach and site fixes, with Search Console and GA4 data, at a published price: Orchly.
  • You want an enterprise platform your own team runs: Profound or Conductor.
  • You want to build your own content engine: AirOps.
  • You care how AI bots read your site: Scrunch.
  • You want a dedicated team across many brands and markets: Brandlight.
  • You buy ChatGPT ads too: Evertune.
  • You sell products and want a strategist call and shopping data: Goodie.
  • Revenue attribution is the main question: Limy, or Peec AI on a smaller budget.

AI answers shift from week to week, so judge any of these on the trend over several weeks, not a single reading.

Weighing other enterprise options too? Our list of Profound alternatives covers more of the field.
