11 Best Botify Alternatives for Technical SEO and AI Search (2026)

Botify alternatives are worth a look when you need technical SEO and AI search data without a six-figure contract, or when AI answers now matter more to your team than crawl budget. Botify is an enterprise platform that crawls very large sites, analyzes server logs for search and AI bots, pushes fixes through PageWorkers and SpeedWorkers, and sells AI Visibility tracking as a paid option. It publishes no prices, and Vendr puts the median contract at $74,200 a year.

These 11 Botify alternatives include enterprise crawlers, log analyzers, desktop crawlers, AI visibility platforms and an agentic AI search platform. Prices checked in November 2026.

Editor's note

How we compared these Botify alternatives

Botify is sold through demos and annual contracts, so we haven't used it. We describe it from its website, knowledge base, monthly release notes and Vendr's pricing data. For each alternative we looked at:

  • Crawl scale and log file analysis, including AI bots
  • Which AI engines it tracks, how often, and on which plan
  • Whether it acts on what it finds, and the real cost

We've used Profound and Scrunch on their trials and Semrush's AI Visibility Toolkit hands-on. Lumar, Conductor, seoClarity, JetOctopus, Screaming Frog, Sitebulb, Search Atlas and Semrush Enterprise come from their pricing pages, docs, release notes and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2 and Capterra and link to the original.

Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

1. Orchly: best Botify alternative to improve AI search visibility, with site health built in

Orchly Site Health Agent listing technical SEO and AI search issues by priority with a suggested fix for each
Technical SEO and AI search issues, ranked with fixes

Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform. It tracks your brand every day in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews, with Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot as paid add-ons (it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek), and its agents run on their own, on a schedule.

They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors, your SEO and your Search Console and GA4 data. They decide what to write and which pages to refresh and do it in your brand voice, keep Brand Brain up to date, find the sites, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.

Botify gives enterprise teams a crawler, log analysis and deployment tools on an annual contract. Orchly's agents run the AI search work end to end, from $49 a month with no contract.

Orchly isn't a full Botify replacement. It doesn't crawl millions of URLs or analyze server log files, so if crawl budget on a giant catalog is your main problem, keep a dedicated crawler.

Site health and AI crawlers

  • Site Health Agent. Audits your pages for technical SEO and AI search issues, ranks the fixes by impact and can apply them on your CMS, directly or after your approval, or write them up for your developers.
  • AI traffic analytics. On Pro, see AI crawler visits from GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot and others next to human referral visits from AI, by platform, page and country. It connects through your hosting or CDN, such as Cloudflare, Vercel or WordPress.

  • Page scores. Each tracked page gets SEO, AEO and GEO scores, and Page 360 puts its Search Console, GA4 and AI visibility data in one view.

AI search visibility, every day

  • Daily tracking. Mentions, position and share of voice in ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews every day. Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot are paid add-ons.
  • Scores you can report on. AI Visibility Score, share of voice, sentiment, average position and a competitor leaderboard.

  • Citations and gaps. See every page AI cites, and use Mention Gap to find cited pages that name competitors but not you. You can also see the query fan-outs AI engines run before they answer.
  • Fact check. Orchly compares AI answers with your approved facts in Brand Brain and marks claims as supported or contradicted.

Google data and agents that act on it

  • Rank tracking plus Search Console and GA4. Daily keyword ranks by country and device, with clicks, conversions and revenue in one dashboard.
  • Content Agent. Runs on a schedule, turns lost prompts and decaying Search Console pages into new articles and refreshes, and writes them in your brand voice. Drafts publish, directly or after your approval, to WordPress, Webflow, Framer, Wix, Sanity or Ghost.
  • Activation Agent. Finds the sites, people, Reddit threads and YouTube videos AI cites, runs the outreach from your Gmail, Zoho or SMTP inbox and drafts the Reddit replies.

Content tasks built from lost prompts and decaying pages

Setup takes about ten minutes, since Orchly reads your site and suggests topics, prompts and competitors. There's more on how the agents work if you want the detail.

Where Orchly falls short

  • Not an enterprise crawler or log analyzer. It has no server log file analysis and no million-URL crawls, rendering or edge deployment like SpeedWorkers and PageWorkers. Huge sites will still want a dedicated crawler.
  • Engine add-ons and a newer brand. Gemini, AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Copilot cost extra, and Orchly has fewer public reviews than Botify.

Orchly pricing

  • Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts, 20 articles, 1 site and 1 user
  • Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with AI traffic analytics, custom agents and white-label reports
  • Enterprise: custom, with a customer success manager
  • There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%.

2. Lumar: best for enterprise technical SEO with AI visibility built in

Lumar dashboard

Lumar, formerly Deepcrawl, is an enterprise cloud crawler with AI visibility tracking built in, which makes it the closest like-for-like swap for Botify's crawler on large sites. We haven't used Lumar ourselves, so this section is based on its product pages, launch posts, API docs and Capterra reviews.

The platform is split into Analyze for crawls, Monitor for changes across many domains, Protect for QA tests before a release goes live, and Impact for reporting the results of fixes.

On March 31, 2026, Lumar launched AI Search Visibility. It runs your prompts on ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude, on a daily, weekly, fortnightly or monthly schedule, and keeps up to two years of history.

Bot data comes through Log Manager, which pulls access logs straight from your CDN or host. Its GEO reports then show AI bot hits by response code next to the crawl. What Lumar doesn't have is anything like PageWorkers, so fixes still go to your developers.

Key features

  • Cloud crawler. Built for enterprise-scale sites, with health scores and prioritized issues.
  • AI Search Visibility. Mentions, citation positions and sentiment on six engines, with competitor rankings.
  • Log Manager. Access logs from your CDN or host, with Googlebot and the main AI crawlers tracked by default.
  • Protect. Automated SEO tests that catch problems before a release reaches production.
  • MCP server. Lumar data inside Claude and other AI assistants.

Where it falls short

  • No published prices for any module.
  • No edge deployment or page changes, so every fix is a developer ticket.
  • A technical tool first, with little keyword research.

User reviews

“A great cloud crawler for large sites, and much better value than some of the enterprise tools.” (Source)

“The cost of credits was hard to work out across many sites, and we could only crawl once a month. Next to OnCrawl and Botify, the experience wasn't there anymore.” (Source)

“The dashboard shows crawl results far more clearly than a spreadsheet export, and it prioritizes the fixes visually.” (Source)

Pricing

  • All plans: custom quote, built from the modules you pick through a form on the pricing page
  • There's no public free trial.

3. Conductor: best for enterprise teams moving budget toward AEO

Conductor dashboard

Conductor is an enterprise SEO and AEO platform that pairs AI search tracking with 24/7 website monitoring and log file analysis, which suits large brands that want AI visibility and site health from one vendor. We haven't used Conductor ourselves, so this section draws on its documentation, announcements and Capterra reviews.

Its AI Search Performance reports cover ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Grok, Copilot and Perplexity in more than 160 countries. Check the plan before you budget. Essentials includes no AI search credits, so AEO tracking starts on Growth with 2,500 credits a year.

Conductor Monitoring, the old ContentKing, checks your site around the clock and alerts you when something breaks. Its Log File Analysis reads logs from Akamai, CloudFront, Fastly or Cloudflare and shows when Google, Bing, OpenAI, Perplexity, Anthropic and Meta bots last visited each page.

That puts Conductor closer to Botify than most AEO tools. On September 24, 2026, Chief Product Officer Wei Zheng became CEO, and the company said AEO would be its focus.

Key features

  • AI Search Performance. Mentions, citations, share of voice and sentiment by engine, topic, persona and country.
  • Conductor Monitoring. Always-on crawling with alerts, and higher crawl frequency for your most important pages.
  • Log File Analysis. Search and AI bot visits per page, from your CDN logs.
  • Writing Assistant. AI drafts with content scores and internal link suggestions.
  • AgentStack. Conductor data in ChatGPT, Claude and Copilot through MCP and an API.

Where it falls short

  • No published prices on any plan.
  • AI search tracking needs Growth or Enterprise.
  • No deployment layer like PageWorkers or SpeedWorkers.

User reviews

“Real-time crawling with alerts sets it apart. It caught a robots.txt block and canonicals pointing at redirects within hours.” (Source)

“It doesn't go beyond auditing and tracking, and the price per page makes it hard to pick a plan.” (Source)

“Too big and complex if you only want to monitor your sites.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essentials: price on request, with no AI search credits
  • Growth: price on request, with 2,500 AI search credits a year
  • Enterprise: custom, with 2,500+ AI search credits
  • Vendr puts the median Conductor contract at $49,020 a year (third-party estimate). There's a free 3-week trial with no card needed.

4. seoClarity: best for an all-in-one enterprise suite with log files and AI tracking

seoClarity dashboard

seoClarity is an enterprise SEO suite with site audits, log file analysis, rank tracking and a separate AI search platform called Clarity ArcAI, and it's one of the few at this level that shows starting prices. We haven't used seoClarity ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing pages, launch news and Capterra reviews.

Its pricing page pitches the Technical SEO plan at brands "looking for an alternative to Botify". It includes site audits with unlimited crawl pages and projects, log file analysis and Clarity 360, from $3,200 a month. A footnote says those packages were representative as of October 2022, so treat the numbers as a floor.

ArcAI is sold on top. Its pricing page lists nine engines on every package, ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Gemini, DeepSeek, Claude, Copilot and Grok, with prompt queries starting at 500 and weekly tracking by default. ArcAI 3.0 launched on April 1, 2026, with an MCP server, a brand accuracy checker sold as an add-on, and a page indexer.

Key features

  • Technical SEO plan. Unlimited crawl pages and projects, plus log file analysis.
  • Clarity ArcAI. Nine AI engines on every package, with sentiment, shopping and local results.
  • ArcAI Accuracy. Flags AI answers that contradict your own site, as an add-on.
  • Rank tracking and research. Daily or weekly rankings and content research in the same suite.
  • MCP server and API. seoClarity data inside ChatGPT and Claude.

Where it falls short

  • ArcAI packages are quote-only, on top of the SEO plan.
  • The published prices date from 2022.
  • The free trial is a custom one, set up after a demo.

User reviews

“Our client success manager is stellar, and the performance tracking and research data are excellent.” (Source)

“There's so much data and so many features that it becomes information overload. We never feel we use it to its full potential.” (Source)

“My only real complaint is that the UI feels a bit dated.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Research & Content: from $2,500/month
  • Technical SEO: from $3,200/month, with unlimited crawl pages and log file analysis
  • Enterprise: from $4,500/month
  • Clarity ArcAI: custom, priced by prompt queries (from 500)
  • A free custom trial is offered after a demo.

5. JetOctopus: best for log file analysis without an enterprise contract

JetOctopus dashboard

JetOctopus is a cloud crawler and log analyzer with published prices and no per-seat or per-domain fees, which suits technical SEOs who want Botify-style crawl and log data without an enterprise contract. We haven't used JetOctopus ourselves, so this section draws on its pricing page, product docs and Capterra reviews.

The log analyzer is the reason to look. It comes with more than 40 bots preset, including GPTBot, ClaudeBot and PerplexityBot, and runs a reverse DNS check on every request, so fake bots are split out of your numbers.

Logs, crawl data, Search Console and GA4 sit in one place, which makes it easy to see which pages AI bots fetch and which they skip. There's an MCP server too, so Claude or Cursor can query the data.

It stops at bots. JetOctopus doesn't track whether ChatGPT or AI Mode mention your brand.

Key features

  • Log analyzer. 40+ bots preset, with fake-bot filtering by reverse DNS.
  • Cloud crawler. JavaScript rendering, from 500,000 URLs a month.
  • GSC and GA4 integrations. 16+ months of Search Console data next to crawls and logs.
  • AI internal linker. Internal link suggestions included in every plan.
  • MCP server. Crawl, log and GSC data in AI assistants.

Where it falls short

  • No AI answer or brand visibility tracking.
  • Crawl limits per plan can pinch on very large sites.
  • No deployment layer, so fixes go to developers.

User reviews

“Comparing logs with Search Console and GA4 shows exactly how bots behave. I've used OnCrawl and Botify, and this is at the same level for a much better price.” (Source)

“The interface can feel clunky, and support doesn't check in the way a dedicated CSM would.” (Source)

“The page crawl limits get restrictive on larger sites.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Growth: $349/month billed yearly ($459 billed quarterly) for 500,000 crawled URLs and 2 million log lines
  • Pro: $809/month billed yearly for 2 million URLs and 8 million log lines
  • Ultra: $1,559/month billed yearly for 5 million URLs and 25 million log lines
  • There's a 7-day free trial capped at 10,000 URLs, and Unlimited is custom.

6. Screaming Frog: best for crawling on a small budget

Screaming Frog dashboard

Screaming Frog SEO Spider is a desktop crawler that costs $279 a year per user, which suits in-house SEOs and consultants who are happy to run crawls on their own machine. Screaming Frog isn't on our tested list, so this section is based on its pricing pages, release notes and Capterra reviews.

It crawls, renders JavaScript and exports almost anything, and the free version handles up to 500 URLs. Bot logs live in a separate tool, the Log File Analyser, at £99 a year, which verifies search engine bots and shows crawl frequency per URL.

Version 24.0, released May 19, 2026, added an MCP server on paid licences. You can ask Claude or another AI assistant to start a crawl, summarize it or export data in plain language. The crawler can also send pages to OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic or Ollama with your own prompts.

The limit is the machine. Very large crawls depend on your memory and storage, and there are no shared dashboards or alerts like Botify's.

Key features

  • SEO Spider. Crawling, JavaScript rendering, custom extraction and crawl comparison.
  • MCP server. Run and query crawls from Claude and other assistants, since May 2026.
  • AI integrations. OpenAI, Gemini, Anthropic and Ollama prompts against crawl data.
  • Log File Analyser. Bot verification, crawl frequency and orphan URLs, sold separately.
  • Scheduling. Scheduled crawls, now with automatic crawl comparison.

Where it falls short

  • No AI visibility tracking.
  • Big crawls slow down or stall on an ordinary computer.
  • Log analysis is a second licence, and nothing is shared in the cloud.

User reviews

“It's a flat annual fee instead of high monthly costs, and it just works.” (Source)

“Exports get clunky, and it tends to choke on hugely massive crawls compared with some of the competition.” (Source)

“The UI is a bit ho-hum, with a steep learning curve.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Free: up to 500 URLs per crawl
  • Paid licence: $279/year per user, falling to $235 each for 20+ licences
  • Log File Analyser: £99/year, with a free version limited to 1,000 log events

7. Sitebulb: best for clear, prioritized audits

Sitebulb dashboard

Sitebulb is a website auditing tool that explains each issue and ranks it, available as a desktop app or a cloud version, which suits agencies and consultants who hand audits to developers or clients. We haven't used Sitebulb ourselves, so this section draws on its pricing page and Capterra reviews.

The Hints are what people buy it for. Each one says what's wrong, why it matters and how to fix it, so you aren't left with a raw export.

Pro on desktop audits up to 500,000 URLs, and the limit can go to 2 million if your computer copes. Sitebulb Cloud removes the machine from the equation, from $125 a month.

Every plan now includes MCP access, so you can connect audits to Claude and other AI tools. There's no log file analysis or AI visibility tracking, though.

Key features

  • Prioritized Hints. 300+ issue checks on Pro, each with an explanation.
  • Crawl maps and visuals. Site architecture you can show a client.
  • MCP access. Audits in Claude and other AI tools, on every plan.
  • Sitebulb Cloud. Recurring crawls and remote teams without project limits.
  • Integrations. Google Analytics, Search Console and Sheets.

Where it falls short

  • No log file analysis.
  • No AI visibility tracking.
  • The desktop app needs a powerful computer for big crawls.

User reviews

“It doesn't dump data into spreadsheet hell. The Hints explain why an issue matters and how to fix it, which Oncrawl never did for us.” (Source)

“Full scans use a lot of RAM and CPU, so on a mid-range laptop it's hard to do anything else while it runs.” (Source)

“I wish it was only cloud-based.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Lite: $18/month for 1 user and 10,000 URLs per audit
  • Pro: $42/month for 1 user and 500,000 URLs per audit, extra users from $11
  • Sitebulb Cloud: from $125/month for 2+ users
  • Yearly plans save 15%, and the 14-day free trial needs no card.

8. Semrush Enterprise: best for AI search inside a familiar SEO database

Semrush dashboard

Semrush Enterprise is Semrush's custom-priced platform for large brands, with Enterprise AIO for AI search, multi-million-page crawling and Semrush's keyword and backlink data. It suits enterprise teams that already live in Semrush. Semrush has been part of Adobe since April 28, 2026.

We've used the self-serve AI Visibility Toolkit hands-on, not Enterprise AIO. The Toolkit was quick to set up and the visibility score gave us a clear direction. The limit we felt was 25 prompts per domain at $99 a month, which covers one topic well and not much more.

Enterprise AIO lifts those limits. Its pricing page lists nine engines, ChatGPT, AI Overviews, AI Mode, Perplexity, Copilot, Grok, Gemini, Claude and DeepSeek, with daily or weekly tracking, multi-brand views, forecasting and ROI attribution.

On the technical side, Site Audit flags blocked AI crawlers, the Log File Analyzer covers AI bots, and Enterprise AIO adds Agent Analytics so you can see bot visits without opening raw logs.

Key features

  • Enterprise AIO. Nine AI engines with custom prompt volumes and daily or weekly tracking.
  • Multi-million-page site audits. Including checks for blocked AI crawlers.
  • Log File Analyzer and Agent Analytics. Search and AI bot activity on your site.
  • Keyword and backlink data. The research side Botify doesn't focus on.
  • AI Automations. Forecasting, content audits and workflows on Enterprise.

Where it falls short

  • Enterprise pricing is sales-only.
  • No edge deployment like Botify's PageWorkers.
  • On the $99 Toolkit, Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need Enterprise AIO.

User reviews

“Brand Performance gives clear share of voice and citations, but 25 prompts priced per domain adds up fast for agencies.” (Source)

“Semrush charges $99 a month per brand in the AI Visibility Toolkit, and we found no self-service way to remove a brand.” (Source)

Reviews of Enterprise AIO itself are scarce, so both quotes are about the self-serve AI Visibility Toolkit.

Pricing

  • Enterprise: custom, through sales
  • AI Visibility Toolkit: $99/month per domain, billed yearly, for 25 prompts
  • Semrush One Starter: $199/month with 50 prompts
Profound dashboard

Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform with prompt volumes, agent analytics and content agents, which suits large brands that keep a separate SEO stack and want a dedicated AI search tool. It has no crawler, rank tracker or site audit.

We used it on the 7-day trial. Profound picked 50 prompts for our industry, and we couldn't edit them, which made it hard to test the questions we cared about. The answers came from ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews, with no history or exports during the trial.

The dashboards are clean and the citation data is easy to read. What we couldn't judge on the trial was the Enterprise side: nine engines, Agent Analytics from your CDN or server logs, and the AI Marketer agents that write and refresh content.

Since mid-September 2026, brands can only buy custom Enterprise plans. Profound raised a $180 million Series D at a $1.8 billion valuation on September 15, 2026.

Key features

  • Answer Engine Insights. Mentions, citations and share of voice on nine engines on Enterprise.
  • Agent Analytics. AI bot visits to your site from CDN or server logs.
  • Prompt Volumes. Estimates of how often people ask a question, in 35 countries.
  • AI Marketer. Agents that draft and refresh content from plain-language requests.
  • Shopping. Product visibility in AI shopping answers.

Where it falls short

  • No self-serve plan for brands anymore.
  • No technical SEO crawler, log file tool for Googlebot or site audit.
  • The trial uses prompts Profound picks, on three engines.

More options are in our Profound alternatives guide.

User reviews

“We can see our visibility, citations and sentiment in one place, and the writing feature optimizes articles for AI.” (Source)

“Having built similar workflows in-house, the pricing feels a bit high, and it isn't the easiest tool to work with.” (Source)

“I'd like more flexibility in how reports are segmented for different stakeholders.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, Agent Analytics, API and SSO
  • Free trial: 7 days, 50 prompts chosen by Profound on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews

10. Scrunch: best for serving AI-friendly pages to bots

Scrunch dashboard

Scrunch is an AI visibility platform, owned by Sitecore since June 2026, that pairs prompt tracking with AI bot traffic data and site audits from $250 a month. It suits technical teams that want to see how AI bots read their pages without a crawler contract.

We used it on the 7-day trial. Setup is guided: Scrunch drafted a brand description from our site, we confirmed it, added competitors and topics, and started from suggested prompts.

Agent Traffic is the part closest to Botify's world. Once your CDN or host is connected, it shows which pages AI bots fetch and why, for retrieval, indexing or training.

Core tracks four engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot. AXP, which serves AI-optimized versions of your pages to bots much like Botify's Markdown delivery, is Enterprise only, along with Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Grok and Meta AI.

Key features

  • Agent Traffic. AI bot visits by page and purpose, through your CDN or host.
  • Prompt tracking. 125 prompts on Core, with personas as filters.
  • Site audits. 5 a month on Core.
  • GA4 AI referrals. Human visits from AI answers, improved in October 2026.
  • AXP. Bot-facing page versions, on Enterprise.

Where it falls short

  • No crawler for large sites, log files for Googlebot or rank tracking.
  • Claude, Gemini and AI Mode are Enterprise only.
  • No content writing or outreach on Core.

User reviews

“Agent Traffic shows which pages bots crawl most and why, whether retrieval, indexing or training.” (Source)

“The recent UI overhaul made it harder to use, after the time I'd spent learning the old one.” (Source)

“Setup was easy, but connecting the agent traffic tool to our clients' CMSs is difficult.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Core: $250/month for 125 prompts, 4 engines, 5 site audits a month and 5 users
  • Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, AXP, API and SSO
  • There's a 7-day free trial.

11. Search Atlas: best budget option for automated on-page fixes

Search Atlas dashboard

Search Atlas is an SEO suite whose OTTO agent pushes technical and on-page fixes to your site, with AI visibility tracking from its Growth plan, which suits lean teams and agencies that want fixes deployed without a developer queue. We haven't used Search Atlas ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, archived pricing pages and Capterra reviews.

OTTO is the closest thing here to PageWorkers at a mid-market price. It applies changes through a script on your site, and you can let it deploy automatically or approve each edit.

Every action draws from one pool of Universal Credits, from site audits to AI articles and rank checks. AI visibility starts on Growth with ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode, and Pro adds Copilot, Perplexity and Claude.

Many enterprise developers and legal teams won't accept a script changing production pages, and there's no log file analysis, so this is a different trade-off from Botify.

Key features

  • OTTO SEO. Deploys technical and on-page fixes automatically or after approval.
  • Site audits. 50,000 pages on Starter, up to 10 million on Pro.
  • AI visibility. 100 queries on 3 engines from Growth, 6 engines on Pro.
  • Content Genius. AI articles that publish to WordPress, Shopify, Webflow and other CMSs.
  • White-label reports. On Pro and Agency.

Where it falls short

  • No log file analysis or AI bot analytics.
  • Changes run through code on your live site.
  • One credit pool for everything makes costs harder to predict.

User reviews

“OTTO handles a huge chunk of our technical and on-page fixes almost on autopilot, which frees hours every week.” (Source)

“Instead of improving my rankings it worsened them. It never fixed the real problems, like keyword cannibalization, and the agent promised things it couldn't do.” (Source)

“The only thing I don't like is the credit system.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter: $99/month for 1 project, 1 seat and no AI visibility tracking
  • Growth: $199/month for 2 projects, 3 seats and AI visibility on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Mode
  • Pro: $399/month for 4 projects, 5 seats, 6 AI platforms and white label
  • Agency: from $999/month. Every plan has a 7-day trial.

How Botify pricing and AI Visibility work

Botify doesn't publish prices, and every plan is sold through a demo. Vendr puts the median contract at $74,200 a year, with a range of about $48,000 to $150,000, priced mostly by URLs crawled, log volume and modules.

Vendr says 12-month contracts are standard, 24 or 36 months are common for enterprise buyers who want a lower yearly rate, and most contracts auto-renew with 30 to 90 days' notice.

AI Visibility is a paid option on any Botify plan, according to its knowledge base:

  • Engines: ChatGPT, Google AI Mode, Google AI Overviews, Gemini and Perplexity.
  • Collection: third-party providers submit each prompt to the engine's public website as a logged-out user in the chosen country.
  • Refresh: weekly or daily, depending on your settings.
  • Limits: campaigns share your plan's answer budget, and there's no REST API, only Botify's MCP server.

What changed with Botify in 2026

Botify spent 2026 pointing the platform at AI agents and AI search. Here's what shipped, with dates from its release notes and announcements.

  • March 5: a partnership with DataDome, the bot management company, to tell legitimate AI agents from malicious bots.
  • March 24: AgenticCatalog, first announced as Agentic Feeds, for AI-ready product feeds to OpenAI and Google. It started in tech preview and became generally available in the June release.
  • April: Gemini and AI Overviews joined AI Visibility, and LogAnalyzer started tracking Claude-User, Claude-SearchBot and Google-Agent, per the April release notes.
  • June and July: query fan-out for ChatGPT campaigns, a preview of the Markdown that SpeedWorkers serves to AI bots, and PageWorkers optimizations for AI bots.
  • August: side-by-side AI visibility against competitors.
  • September (released October 8): the Botify MCP server for Claude and ChatGPT, competitor groups, a daily refresh option and 12 months of lookback in AI Visibility, plus a Visual Editor for PageWorkers.

The daily refresh closes one gap. Before it, AI Visibility data updated weekly, while most AI visibility tools checked every day.

When to stay with Botify

  • You run millions of URLs and need crawl and log analysis at that scale.
  • You push fixes or pre-rendered pages through PageWorkers or SpeedWorkers today. Moving off means rebuilding that with your developers.
  • You're a retailer counting on AgenticCatalog to feed products to OpenAI and Google.
  • You're mid-way through a multi-year deal. Adding a lighter AI search tool now and comparing at renewal usually costs less than switching early.

Which Botify alternative should you choose?

  • You want agents that improve AI search visibility, with site health and Google data, from $49: Orchly.
  • You want another enterprise cloud crawler with AI tracking: Lumar.
  • You want 24/7 monitoring, log files and AEO from one enterprise vendor: Conductor.
  • You want log files, rank tracking and nine AI engines in one suite: seoClarity.
  • You want log analysis with AI bots at a published price: JetOctopus.
  • You want a desktop crawler on a small budget: Screaming Frog, or Sitebulb for clearer audits.
  • You already pay for Semrush: Semrush Enterprise.
  • You want a dedicated AI search platform: Profound, or Scrunch for AI bot traffic at a published price.
  • You want fixes deployed automatically on a budget: Search Atlas.
