11 Best AI Search Visibility Tools for SaaS Companies (2026)

The best AI search visibility tools for SaaS companies in November 2026 are Orchly, Profound, Peec AI and Scrunch, with AthenaHQ, Gauge, the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit, Ahrefs Brand Radar, HubSpot AEO, AirOps and Otterly.AI for narrower jobs and budgets. We judged all 11 on how well they track "best X software", comparison and alternatives prompts, competitor share of voice, citations from review sites and Reddit, Search Console and GA4 data, help with comparison pages, and price for a growth-stage team.

Software buyers now ask ChatGPT for a shortlist before they visit your site. In G2's March 2026 survey, 51% of B2B software buyers said they start research with an AI chatbot more often than with Google. Prices checked in November 2026.

Editor's note

How we judged these tools for SaaS

We've used Profound, Peec AI, Scrunch, Otterly.AI and the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit on their trials, with software buyer prompts like "best X software" and "X vs Y". For this list we went back to each pricing page and noted:

  • Which engines and how many prompts the plan you can buy covers
  • Whether it shows the review sites, listicles and Reddit threads AI cites
  • Whether it ties visibility to Search Console, GA4 or signups, and helps with comparison pages

AthenaHQ needed a sales call, and we haven't tried Gauge, Ahrefs Brand Radar, HubSpot AEO or AirOps, so those sections come from their docs, pricing pages and reviews. Review quotes are condensed from G2, OMR and Product Hunt and link to the original.

Orchly is our product. We held it to the same checks and say where it falls short. Checked November 2026.

How we picked

Every tool here tracks how AI engines talk about software brands, either on your own prompts or on a prompt index. We checked each vendor's pricing page and docs in November 2026 and looked at what a growth-stage SaaS marketing team needs:

  • "Best X software", comparison and alternatives prompts, and whether the tool helps you find which ones buyers ask.
  • Competitor share of voice on those prompts.
  • Citations from review sites, listicles and Reddit, since those pages shape most software answers.
  • Search Console, GA4 and AI referral traffic, so visibility can be tied to signups.
  • Help with comparison pages, from recommendations to agents that write and refresh them.
  • Price for a small team, including engines that cost extra.

1. Orchly: best for SaaS teams that want agents to win buyer prompts

Orchly prompt and topic analytics with branded and non-branded prompts and commercial, informational and transactional intent labels
Buyer prompts by topic, branded vs non-branded and intent

Orchly is an agentic AI search optimization platform that tracks the "best X software", "X vs Y" and "alternatives to X" prompts your buyers ask, every day, in the real ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews interfaces rather than through APIs, and then runs agents that work to win them. Gemini, Google AI Mode, Claude, Grok and Microsoft Copilot are paid add-ons, and it also tracks Meta AI and DeepSeek.

Its agents run on their own, on a schedule. They analyze your AI visibility, your competitors, your SEO and your Search Console and GA4 data, decide which comparison pages to write and which pages to refresh, and do it in your brand voice. They keep Brand Brain, your product facts and positioning, up to date, find the review sites, listicles, people and Reddit threads worth reaching, run the outreach and draft the replies, and audit your site for technical SEO and AI search issues with the fixes ranked. You decide whether each agent runs on its own or waits for your approval.

Most tools on this list give you a tracker plus a to-do list. Orchly's agents run the work end to end, from $49 a month.

Track the prompts that lead to a demo

  • Buyer prompts by intent. Every prompt is tagged branded or non-branded and commercial, informational or transactional, so "best CRM for startups" sits apart from "how does [your brand] pricing work".
  • Prompt research. Find the "best X", "X vs Y" and "alternatives to X" prompts in your category and see which competitors show up, with share of voice against each.

Hear the objections before sales does

  • Perception. The attributes AI ties to your product, and the objections it raises, like "expensive" or "limited integrations".

Perception: what AI says you're good at, and the objections it raises
  • Fact check. AI often gets SaaS pricing and features wrong. Orchly checks each answer against Brand Brain and flags claims that contradict it.

Get onto the review pages and listicles AI cites

  • Mention Gap. Software answers lean on review sites, "best tools" listicles and Reddit threads. Mention Gap lists the cited pages that name your competitors but not you.
Orchly Mention Gap report listing top cited sources where competitors are mentioned but the brand is not
Cited pages that list competitors but skip you
  • Activation Agent. Drafts a pitch for each of those publishers and sends it from your own inbox, with follow-ups, and finds Reddit threads worth joining with draft replies. More on our outreach agent.

Tie it to signups

  • AI traffic analytics. On Pro, see AI crawler visits and real visitors from ChatGPT, Perplexity and other assistants, by page.
Orchly AI traffic analytics showing AI crawler and referral visits by platform
AI crawlers and AI referral visits
  • Search Console and GA4. Your Google rankings, clicks and conversions sit next to your AI visibility, so you don't need a separate SEO tool for the basics.

Let agents close the gap

  • Content Agent. Writes comparison pages and "alternatives" pages and refreshes docs and older posts in your brand voice, then publishes them to your CMS, directly or after your approval. See how it works for SaaS teams.

Where Orchly falls short

  • No CRM connector. You'll see GA4 conversions, but not which HubSpot or Salesforce deals came from AI search.
  • Add-on engines. Claude is popular with developers and B2B buyers, and on Orchly it's a paid add-on, like Gemini, AI Mode, Grok and Copilot. AthenaHQ includes 11 models on Starter.
  • You post on Reddit yourself. The agent finds threads and drafts replies, but Orchly never posts for you.

Orchly pricing

  • Essential: $49/month for 25 prompts refreshed daily, 20 created or refreshed articles, 1 site and 1 user
  • Pro: $125/month for 100 prompts, 50 articles, 3 sites and 5 users, with AI traffic analytics and white-label reports
  • Enterprise: custom, with unlimited prompts and users
  • There's a 7-day free trial, and yearly billing saves 25%.

2. Profound: best for enterprise SaaS

Profound dashboard

Profound is an enterprise AI visibility platform that tracks up to 9 answer engines, estimates how often buyers ask each prompt and runs AI Marketer agents on the data, which suits later-stage SaaS companies with an analyst and an enterprise budget.

We tested it on the 7-day trial. Profound picked 50 prompts for our industry, we couldn't edit them, and only ChatGPT, Gemini and Google AI Overviews ran. For a SaaS team that's the frustrating part, because you can't test your own "best X software" or "X vs Y" prompts before you talk to sales.

Prompt Volumes is what we'd buy it for. It estimates how often topics are asked, from more than 1.5 billion prompts in 35 countries, so you can tell which comparison prompts are worth fighting for. Citations come sorted into Owned, Competitor, Earned Media, PR Wire, Social and Institution, which shows quickly whether review sites or listicles carry your category.

Since September 2026 brands can only buy Enterprise. The $99 Starter and $399 Growth plans are gone, so a Series A team has to go through a sales cycle.

Key features

  • Prompt Volumes. Demand estimates from 1.5 billion+ prompts in 35 countries, updated weekly.
  • Nine engines on Enterprise. ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Mode, Gemini, Copilot, DeepSeek, Claude, AI Overviews and Exa.
  • Citation categories and Citation Share against competitors.
  • AI Marketer. Agents that draft and publish content, set up from a plain-language request since October 2026, with credit wallets.
  • Agent Analytics for AI crawlers, and Search Console data in its Pages view since September 2026.

Where it falls short

  • No self-serve plan for brands, so there's no public price.
  • The trial runs preset prompts on 3 engines, with no history or exports.
  • The API, exports, MCP and SSO are Enterprise only.

User reviews

We've quoted most of Profound's G2 reviews in earlier comparisons, so we kept this to two.

“For content refreshes we can pick the newest models, which matters a lot in our technical space.” (Source)

“It has more insights and agents than the others we vetted, but it's rather expensive next to them.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Trial: free for 7 days, with 50 preset prompts run daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and AI Overviews
  • Enterprise: custom, with up to 9 engines and AI Marketer credits
  • Agencies can still buy a self-serve Agency Growth plan.

3. Peec AI: best for review-site and UGC source data

Peec AI dashboard

Peec AI is an AI search analytics platform that tracks your prompts daily in 3 AI models of your choice from $95 (€85) a month, sorts every cited source by type, and connects GA4 for AI referral revenue, which suits SaaS teams that want clean data and unlimited seats.

We signed up and had data within a few minutes. Peec read our site, suggested prompts, and visibility, position and sentiment against competitors filled in for each model.

The sources view is the part SaaS marketers will use most. Every cited domain and URL is labelled corporate, editorial, institutional, UGC, reference or competitor, and the Gap Score points at sources that cite rivals more than you. That's how you find the listicles and community threads behind "best X software" answers.

Since September 2026, AI Referrals pulls GA4 sessions, conversions and revenue by assistant, which helps when the CFO asks whether AI search brings signups. The model picker is the limit. You choose 3 of ChatGPT, AI Mode, AI Overviews, Copilot, Gemini and Naver AI, Perplexity costs extra, and Claude, a model many developers and B2B buyers use, is Enterprise only.

Key features

  • Source types and Gap Score. Cited domains and URLs by type, with gaps against competitors.
  • AI Referrals. GA4 sessions, conversions and revenue by AI assistant.
  • Brand Perception. How AI describes your product, checked against facts you set.
  • Actions and Peec Agent. Ranked fixes, and since October 22, 2026, an agent that drafts briefs and page edits.
  • Unlimited seats and an MCP server on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • 3 models per plan, and Perplexity is an extra model.
  • Claude, Grok and DeepSeek need Enterprise.
  • The agent drafts, but publishing and outreach stay with your team.

User reviews

Peec AI's G2 reviews are almost all quoted in our other comparisons, so we picked two parts that matter to software companies.

“We're an early-stage startup, and now we know exactly which prompts we're losing and what to publish about them.” (Source)

“Onboarding suggested 50 prompts, but about 40% of them overlapped, so we had to sort them out by hand.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Starter: $95/month (€85) for 50 prompts on 3 models, daily
  • Pro: $245/month (€205) for 150 prompts
  • Advanced: $495/month (€425) for 350 prompts and multi-country tracking
  • Extra models such as Perplexity cost more. Yearly billing saves 15%, and there's a free trial.

4. Scrunch: best for seeing how AI bots read your site

Scrunch dashboard

Scrunch, now part of Sitecore, is an AI visibility platform that tracks ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews and Copilot on its $250 Core plan and shows how AI bots crawl your pages, which suits technical SaaS marketing teams that care about docs and pricing pages being read correctly.

We used it on the 7-day trial. Onboarding is guided. Scrunch drafts a brand description from your site, you confirm it, add competitors, a persona and your topics, and start from five suggested prompts.

Agent Traffic is where it stands out for SaaS. Once you connect your CDN or host, you see which AI bots hit your docs, pricing and comparison pages. Scrunch also connects GA4 to show the referral traffic AI sends, and citations come split by who owns the source.

The refresh rate is the thing to know. New prompts run daily for 14 days, then every 72 hours, so it isn't a daily tracker once things settle. Core also covers one persona, one country and one language, so the persona tracking older reviews praise is mostly an Enterprise story now.

Key features

  • 4 engines on Core, with 125 prompts and 5,000 responses a month.
  • Agent Traffic. AI crawler visits from your CDN or host.
  • GA4 AI referrals, expanded in October 2026.
  • Citations by owner, sentiment and competitor position for every prompt.
  • Site audits. 5 audits and 1 page optimization a month on Core.

Where it falls short

  • Prompts drop to every 72 hours after 14 days.
  • Claude, Gemini, AI Mode, Grok and Meta AI are Enterprise only.
  • One persona, country and language on Core.

User reviews

Scrunch's G2 reviews have been quoted in many of our comparisons, so we kept this to two.

“The GA and CMS integrations put all of our clients' AI visibility reporting in one place.” (Source)

“I'd like more help with prompt research, and connecting the agent traffic tool to a CMS is difficult.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Core: $250/month for 125 prompts, 4 engines and 5 user licenses
  • Enterprise: custom, with 9 engines, AXP, the API and SSO
  • There's a 7-day free trial.

5. AthenaHQ: best for 11 AI models on one plan

AthenaHQ dashboard

AthenaHQ is an AI search visibility platform that tracks 5 engines on a free plan and 11 models from $295 a month, with prompt volume estimates, citation sources and GA4 and Search Console connections, which suits SaaS teams that want wide engine coverage without per-engine add-ons. We haven't used AthenaHQ ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, docs and G2 reviews.

Its pricing page shows logos from software companies such as Rootly, Checkr, Qonto and Nextiva. The free Essential plan gives you 300 credits a month across ChatGPT, Perplexity, AI Overviews, Gemini and Copilot, where one credit is one AI response. That's enough to learn the dashboard, not to track a category every day.

Starter adds AI Mode, Claude, Grok, DeepSeek, Meta AI and Mistral, with 3,600 credits, unlimited prompts and competitors, CSV export and a content optimization agent. GA4 and Search Console connect on Starter, so you can put visibility next to traffic.

Older write-ups, including an earlier version of this list, said AthenaHQ integrates with Salesforce and HubSpot. Its pricing page doesn't list either today, so ask in a demo if CRM data matters to you.

Key features

  • 11 models on Starter, 5 on the free plan.
  • Prompt volume estimates for the topics you track.
  • Sources split into owned, competitor and third-party pages, with Brand Traits.
  • GA4, Search Console, Shopify and Webflow integrations.
  • Unlimited seats on every plan.

Where it falls short

  • 3,600 credits across 11 models run out fast if you track many prompts daily.
  • The jump from free to $295 is steep, and API access is a paid add-on.
  • One country on self-serve, and personas are Enterprise only.

User reviews

Almost every AthenaHQ review on G2 has been quoted in our other comparisons, so we kept this to two.

“We're a developer tools company, and it showed us a smaller open-source competitor being cited more than us for our core use case.” (Source)

“There's a lot going on, and it can feel a little overwhelming to learn every corner of it.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Essential: free, 300 credits a month on 5 engines
  • Starter: $295/month for 3,600 credits on 11 models
  • Enterprise: custom, with personas, multiple regions and SSO
  • Annual billing saves 17%, about $245 a month for Starter.

6. Gauge: best for developer tools

Gauge dashboard

Gauge is an AI visibility and content platform that tracks 600 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Google AI Mode and Microsoft Copilot for $599 a month, writes 18 articles a month, and sells a separate Gauge Agents product that tests how coding agents pick and use developer tools, which suits devtools and API companies. We haven't used Gauge ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, docs, changelog and reviews.

The Agents product is the reason a developer-facing SaaS company would look here. It runs real coding agents such as Claude Code and Codex in real repositories, checks whether they choose your SDK, and judges each implementation against your own pass criteria. Logos on that page include Supabase, PostHog, Resend and Clerk.

The visibility side covers the usual SaaS needs. Growth connects GA4, Search Console and DataForSEO, shows fan-out searches and AI traffic, and Ask Gauge can refresh existing pages and publish to Webflow, Framer, Sanity or GitHub.

The engine list is short for the price, though. AI Overviews, Gemini, Perplexity, sentiment and exports are Enterprise only, and Claude and Grok need your own API keys.

Key features

  • 600 prompts daily on Growth, about 54,000 answers a month, with unlimited domains and competitors.
  • Content engine. 18 articles a month, page refreshes and CMS publishing.
  • Ask Gauge. An agent for analysis, reports and scheduled tasks, with an MCP server.
  • Fanouts and citations, including brand mention share among cited pages.
  • Gauge Agents. Coding-agent preference and experience tests, priced separately in credits.

Where it falls short

  • 3 engines on the $599 plan, with no AI Overviews, Gemini or Perplexity.
  • Claude and Grok only through your own API keys.
  • Exports and sentiment need Enterprise, and there's no cheaper plan since the $99 Starter went away.

User reviews

Gauge has a handful of reviews, and we've quoted the two G2 ones once before.

“The UI is easy to navigate, and it ties the insights to steps we can take to improve our visibility.” (Source)

“It writes AEO-optimized articles and publishes them. I'd only like more proactive updates to older blogs.” (Source)

“Ask Gauge is interesting, but without a data export it's a bit of a black box.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Growth: $599/month for 600 daily prompts on 3 engines, 18 articles and 3 seats
  • Enterprise: custom, with 6 core engines, sentiment and exports
  • Gauge Agents: credits from $100/month, with 1,000 free credits and no card to start

7. Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit: best for prompt research

Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit dashboard

The Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit adds AI search tracking to Semrush for $99 a month per domain billed annually, with Prompt Research volumes for questions like "best X software", which suits SaaS teams that already run SEO in Semrush.

We used the toolkit ourselves. Prompt Research was the report we kept going back to. It works like keyword research for AI questions, with volume and intent estimates from more than 317 million prompts, so you can see which "alternatives to X" prompts matter before you spend tracked prompts on them.

Tracking is split in two. Prompt Tracking runs your own prompts daily on ChatGPT Search, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini. Brand Performance uses prompts Semrush generates, updates weekly, adds Perplexity, and holds share of voice, sentiment and Cited Sources. Semrush says the answers come from real requests, not APIs.

The allowance held us back. $99 buys 25 prompts for one domain, which won't cover a SaaS prompt map of category, comparison, alternatives and integration questions.

Key features

  • Prompt Research. Volume and intent for AI prompts from a 317 million+ prompt database.
  • Prompt Tracking. Daily positions in ChatGPT Search, AI Mode, AI Overviews and Gemini.
  • Brand Performance. Weekly share of voice, sentiment and Cited Sources, with Perplexity.
  • Source Opportunities. Sites that cite competitors but not you.
  • AI search site audit next to your regular Semrush SEO data.

Where it falls short

  • 25 prompts per domain, and each extra domain is another $99.
  • Share of voice and sentiment update weekly.
  • It recommends changes but doesn't write or do outreach.

User reviews

Few Semrush reviews are about the AI toolkit, and we've quoted both of these before, so we picked different parts.

“For a growing company the pricing is easy on the pocket, and the AI Visibility score shows how our brand appears in AI answers.” (Source)

“The recommendations are useful but sometimes too high-level, and the entry tier needs more prompts.” (Source)

Pricing

  • AI Visibility Toolkit: $99/month per domain for 25 prompts, billed annually
  • Extra prompts: 50 more for $60/month
  • Semrush One Starter: $199/month with 50 tracked prompts
  • There's no standalone trial for the toolkit. The trial comes through Semrush One.

8. Ahrefs Brand Radar: best for competitor research

Ahrefs Brand Radar dashboard

Ahrefs Brand Radar is an AI visibility research tool that shows how any brand is mentioned and cited across an index of about 496 million prompts, from $199 a month for one AI platform, which suits SaaS teams that want to size up competitors and the pages AI cites in their category before tracking their own prompts. Ahrefs has no trial for Brand Radar, so this section is based on its product page, FAQ and reviews.

Ahrefs builds the prompts from real searches in its keyword database, runs them through the chatbots' web interfaces and stores the answers. You can look up any competitor and see where it's mentioned, which pages get cited for it, and how that compares with you, with no setup.

Cited Pages is the useful report for SaaS. It shows the third-party listicles and review pages feeding competitor mentions, which gives you a pitch list.

The index is modeled and re-tested monthly for the chatbots, so for your exact "Brand A vs Brand B" prompts you buy custom prompt checks. Those work on a free Ahrefs account too.

Key features

  • Prompt index. About 496 million prompts across AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot.
  • Competitor lookups. Mentions and citations for any brand, no setup.
  • Cited Pages and Cited Domains for the sources behind each brand.
  • Custom prompts, checked daily to monthly, with Claude available here.

Where it falls short

  • Modeled prompts re-tested monthly, not daily tracking of your own.
  • $199 per platform, and custom prompts cost extra.
  • Grok tracking is paused, and there's no content writing or outreach.

User reviews

Only two Ahrefs reviews we found are about Brand Radar, and both appear in our other comparisons.

“It covers several LLMs, countries and languages, but the metrics change retroactively with every index update.” (Source)

“Finding trending AI Overview queries is easy, though the data was still in beta.” (Source)

Pricing

  • One platform: $199/month
  • All six platforms: $699/month, with 2,500 custom prompt checks
  • Custom prompt packs: from $50/month for 2,500 checks
  • There's no free trial.

9. HubSpot AEO: best for HubSpot shops

HubSpot AEO dashboard

HubSpot AEO is HubSpot's beta AI visibility tool that tracks 25 prompts daily on ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity for $50 a month, with competitor share of voice, citation analysis and recommendations, which suits SaaS marketing teams that already run on HubSpot. We haven't used HubSpot AEO ourselves, so this section is based on HubSpot's product page, knowledge base and G2 reviews.

It went on sale on April 14, 2026, after HubSpot agreed to buy XFunnel, and it's still labelled Beta. You don't need a HubSpot subscription for the $50 plan, and Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise include it with 25 and 50 prompts.

The Marketing Hub version is the interesting one for SaaS. Prompt suggestions draw on your CRM data, and a recommendation can become a blog draft in HubSpot, at 1,000 HubSpot Credits per piece. Citation analysis splits sources into owned, competitor, social, user-generated and affiliate.

The coverage is small. Three engines, no AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude or Copilot, and extra prompts with no price on HubSpot's pages.

Key features

  • Visibility score and share of voice against competitors, updated daily.
  • Citation analysis by source type, content type and page.
  • Recommendations with projected citation lift, split into owned content, social, outreach and site audit.
  • CRM-based prompts and blog drafts in Marketing Hub Professional and Enterprise.
  • 28-day free trial with no card.

Where it falls short

  • 3 engines and 25 prompts on the standalone plan.
  • No AI Overviews, AI Mode, Claude or Copilot.
  • Drafts cost credits and need Marketing Hub, and each brand needs its own $50 instance.

User reviews

“I'm in sales and always on the move, and it's made writing blogs and LinkedIn posts realistic for me.” (Source)

“Some recommendations feel a bit general and still need human review, and I'd like more competitive benchmarking.” (Source)

“We're limited to 25 prompts unless we buy more.” (Source)

Pricing

  • HubSpot AEO: $50/month ($45 billed yearly) for 25 prompts on 3 engines
  • Marketing Hub Professional: includes 25 prompts, plus CRM-based suggestions
  • Marketing Hub Enterprise: includes 50 prompts
  • Extra prompts can be bought, but HubSpot doesn't list the price.

10. AirOps: best for SaaS content teams at scale

AirOps dashboard

AirOps is a content engineering platform where you build workflows that create, refresh and publish content, with AI visibility insights across 7+ answer engines on its Pro plan, which suits SaaS content teams that publish at volume and have someone who likes building workflows. We haven't used AirOps ourselves, so this section is based on its pricing page, announcements and G2 reviews.

Its pricing page shows logos from SaaS companies such as Ramp, Webflow, Wiz, Gong and monday.com. Reviewers describe connecting Search Console and Google Analytics to pull performance data into workflows, which is how teams pick which comparison pages to refresh.

Offsite, launched in February 2026, finds the third-party publishers AI engines cite and ranks them with an Influence Score. Quill, launched in May, scans for stale pages, competitor gaps and prompts you should be cited for, and puts the proposed work in an inbox for review. Publishing goes to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, Sanity and others.

The visibility data is the smaller half of the product. The free Solo plan covers ChatGPT only, Pro has no listed price, and reviewers often mention a learning curve of a few weeks.

Key features

  • Workflows and Quill. Build content and refresh pipelines, or have Quill propose the work.
  • Offsite insights. Third-party publishers AI cites, ranked by Influence Score.
  • Brand Kits and knowledge bases to keep output in your voice.
  • CMS publishing to Webflow, WordPress, Contentful, Sanity and more.
  • Unlimited seats on Pro.

Where it falls short

  • Pro and Enterprise have no published price.
  • The free plan covers ChatGPT only.
  • Weeks of setup before workflows run well.

User reviews

AirOps' G2 reviews have been quoted in a few of our comparisons, so we picked ones we'd used least.

“I built a playbook that runs our recurring SEO workflow and sends a report every morning.” (Source)

“Connecting it to Search Console and Google Analytics gave us a lot of ideas for improvements.” (Source)

“There are so many features that it's a little difficult to navigate, but support has helped me a ton.” (Source)

Pricing

  • Solo: free, with ChatGPT insights and 1 seat
  • Pro: price on request, with 7+ answer engines and unlimited seats
  • Enterprise: custom, with custom agent builds and onboarding

11. Otterly.AI: best budget starting point

Otterly.AI dashboard

Otterly.AI is a low-cost AI search monitoring tool that tracks ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Perplexity and Microsoft Copilot daily from $29 a month, with citation tracking and GEO audits, which suits early-stage SaaS teams that want a first read on AI visibility before a bigger budget.

We signed up and added our brand. Otterly built a competitor list and suggested prompts, and the first report was ready in about 15 minutes.

We liked opening a prompt and seeing the answer as the engine wrote it, with cited domains grouped into categories such as Community/Forum and Video. For a SaaS company that's a quick way to see whether review sites and forums or your own docs carry the answer.

Lite's 15 prompts go fast, though, and a SaaS prompt map needs 100 or more. That means Standard at $189, and AI Mode, Gemini and Claude are add-ons, so all seven engines on Standard come to about $416 a month.

Key features

Why AI search matters so much for SaaS

  • Buyers start there. 51% of B2B software buyers start research with an AI chatbot more often than with Google, and 69% picked a different vendor than planned because of a chatbot's guidance, according to G2's March 2026 survey of 1,076 decision makers.
  • Almost every buyer uses AI. Forrester reported in January 2026 that 94% of business buyers use AI in their buying process.
  • It converts. At Ahrefs, AI search sent 0.5% of visitors but 12.1% of signups over 30 days in mid-2025, Ahrefs reported.

Which prompts should a SaaS company track?

Start with the ones closest to a purchase:

  • Category prompts, like "best project management software for agencies."
  • Comparison prompts, like "Asana vs Monday."
  • Alternatives prompts, like "alternatives to Jira."
  • Pricing and integration prompts, like "does X integrate with Salesforce?"

Then add persona and use-case prompts as you grow. For more on this, see our guide to tracking AI prompts.

Which AI visibility tool should your SaaS company choose?

  • You want agents that run the work on their own, from comparison pages and refreshes to Reddit threads and outreach, tied to Search Console and GA4: Orchly.
  • You're a later-stage SaaS company with an enterprise budget: Profound.
  • You want clean source data and GA4 revenue with unlimited seats: Peec AI.
  • You care how AI bots read your docs and pricing pages: Scrunch.
  • You want 11 models on one plan: AthenaHQ.
  • You sell to developers and want to test coding agents: Gauge.
  • Your SEO already lives in Semrush: the Semrush AI Visibility Toolkit.
  • You want to research competitors without writing prompts: Ahrefs Brand Radar.
  • You run on HubSpot: HubSpot AEO.
  • You have a content ops person and publish at volume: AirOps.
  • You want the cheapest way to start: Otterly.AI.

Whichever you pick, start with the prompts closest to a purchase and judge the trend over a few weeks, not one day's run.
